Yep, our go-to looks are making big, bronzy waves off shore, and that's because we know how to do an effortless glowy glam.

Realistically, it's just the updated name for Aussie-created 'Latte Makeup', but when it comes to bronzed, luminous goddess type glam we know one brand we're turning to: Revlon.

Since the launch of their Illuminance range, we've been working with healthy-looking, lit-from-within skin, blonzer blush toppers and skin care-rich formulas. There latest launch is absolutely no different. The Revlon Illuminance Eyeshadow Palette offers a range of six brown tones in a mix of both matte and shimmer to take your eyes to the next level; hello eye-maxxing.

BEAUTYcrew sent the Revlon Illuminance Eyeshadow Palette to a panel of women aged 25-44 looking for a new everyday eyeshadow palette.

The lowdown

How blendable the shades were: We all know the pain of an eyeshadow that just won't budge or one that goes on and disappears into nothingness. We have it on good authority from our REVIEWcrew members that this palette is not only seriously blendable but super silky too.

The versatile shade range: We all have that palette that we bought for exactly four shades, and the other 10 just get sat unused. That absolutely won't be the case with this one, because each shade plays well with its surrounding colours and alone.

How compact the palette is: Literally no one wants to be hauling around a massive palette to do their everyday glam, so fortunately this simple six shade palette is compact enough to pop into your everyday makeup bag.

I’ve been loving the Revlon Illuminance Eyeshadow Palette! The shades are so pretty and wearable, and I love that you can easily create a really natural everyday look or build them up for something a little more glam. The shadows feel super smooth and blend out really easily without going patchy, which makes the palette so easy to use. I was also really impressed with the pigmentation, especially the shimmer shades, they add such a gorgeous glow to the eyes without being too glittery or over the top. I love having a mix of matte and shimmer shades all in the one palette, and all of the colours work so nicely together. The compact size is also perfect for throwing in my makeup bag or taking away when travelling. Such a great little everyday palette and definitely one I’ll be reaching for all the time!

I was excited to try the Revlon Illuminance Eyeshadow Palette and it did not disapoint. I enjoyed creating a bronzy eye with this palette that looked fantastic with my blue eyes. There is 3 mattes and 3 shimmers in this palette and I think this is a good amount to create a subtle or dramatic eye look. The formula worked well on my eyes and had the right amount of pigment (not too much to make them hard to blend and not too little where nothing shows up on the eye). I didn't experience too much fallout when applying or blending the shadows and the pigments performed well. I especially liked the shimmery bronze colours which could potentially be an eye look all on their own. This palette is a credit to Revlon and I'll definately be keeping it in my top drawer for both day and night occasions.

I absolutely love the Neutral palette! The formula is silky and blends so effortlessly across the lids, making it really easy to create a smooth, even look without having to work too hard. The shades are beautifully pigmented but still easy to build up, and I love the mix of soft mattes and gorgeous shimmers. The neutral tones are so versatile perfect for an everyday look, but you can easily build them up for something more glam at night. The compact is also sleek and convenient, which makes it great for taking with you. Overall, such a lovely palette and one I’ve been reaching for a lot!
