Rihanna is set to officially launch Fenty Skin

Mark your calendars!

It’s official - Fenty Skin is a thing! The bad gal has done it again, choosing to controversially shelve her next album in order to birth a new baby into her already wildly successful family of Fenty brands.

Rihanna has already had a huge amount of success with her makeup line Fenty Beauty, so it isn’t too surprising that the singer has decided to turn her attention to skin care.

And while the debut post from the brand gave little away to begin with, we can now confirm that Fenty Skin has three products ready for it’s launch on July 31, 2020.

The tight 3-step routine includes the FentySkin Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser, FentySkin Fat Water Pore Refining Toner Serum and FentySkin Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen.

It appears the magic of each product will lie within an antioxidant-rich formula, that helps to hydrate, balance and maintain a healthy complexion. The 2-in-1 cleanser and makeup remover purifies skin without drying it out, while the fat water toner’s thiccc texture means you can ditch the cotton pads and use your hands (Rihanna’s always thinking about those turtles), and the 2-in-1 moisturiser + SPF is tinted pink so you don’t have to worry about pesky white-cast post application.

The hype is real for Fenty Skin and considering how long the brand has been rumoured, we won’t be surprised if it’s another slam dunk business move from Rihanna.

According to the database of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the trademark application for use of the phrase ‘Fenty Skin’ was officially filed on March 25th 2020 with products such as skin care, body care, personal care products and beauty tools and accessories included in the application.

In 2017, rumours were started that RiRi was planning on taking the plunge into the world of skin care under the trademark ‘House of Fenty’, although this never came to fruition. Thanks be to the beauty gods that this time the rumours weren’t wrong.

Like all other aspects of the Fenty brand, we are predicting a focus on inclusivity and products that deliver diamond-like shine to skin. We cannot wait to see what else she has come up with!
