Game-changing beauty tech worth trying
Welcome to the future

Smart beauty is here, folks. From a microcurrent device that gives your skin a workout, to a tiny wearable sensor that tracks UV levels and an electric toothbrush that uses artificial intelligence to tell you whether you’re brushing properly, meet the new beauty gadgets that are changing the game.
FOREO launched a shiny new face gadget and we are ready for it. It’s called the FOREO BEAR and it basically gives your skin a workout to tighten and firm your complexion. It uses a combination of soft wave microcurrents and T-Sonic pulsations to improve skin contour, tone and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It automatically syncs with your FOREO app and allows you to choose from a range of different facial workouts and intensities. The best part? You can pop it in your bag and give yourself a five-minute facial anytime, anywhere.
Manicare Nova Face Massager
In case you missed it, skin fitness is all the rage (please see above). And this face massager from Manicare is another prime example of why you need to elevate your routine. Working to improve circulation, Manicare NOVA FIT uses Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS) technology (basically tiny electric pulses) to stimulate the muscles underneath your skin for a firm, contoured appearance. It’s like doing a HIIT class, for your face.
La Roche-Posay UV Tracker
We know a game-changer when we see one. This clever teeny device (it’s about the size of an M&M) is a wearable, battery-free tracker that uses LED technology to detect your UV exposure and tell you when to top up your sunscreen. Yep. NO BIG DEAL. Connected to your smartphone via an app, La Roche-Posay UV Tracker also provides data on things like pollution, pollen and humidity based on when you are. Oh, and it’s also waterproof, so you can wear it down at the beach or in the pool with no dramas.
PMD Beauty Smart Facial Cleansing Device Clean Pro
True story: PMD Beauty Smart Facial Cleansing Device is everything we never knew we needed. This gentle silicone brush uses over 7000 vibrations per minute to break down pimple-causing dirt and oil from within the pores, for deeply cleansed, fresh skin. Our favourite part? The reverse side of the brush features a unique heat therapy plate to assist in deeper absorption and effectiveness of your skin care products. Just place a couple drops of your fave serum on the plate and massage it into your skin using the device.
Oral-B Genius AI
Nothing says you have your sh*t together quite like owning an Oral-B Genius AI. This next-gen electric toothbrush uses artificial intelligence to tell you how to brush better. Yes, this is actually a thing and we are also freaking out. It basically connects to an app on your phone via Bluetooth, and uses in-built sensors to tell you when you’re applying too much pressure, or not paying enough attention to certain spots. The app then takes all of this data and gives you a rating on how well you brushed. It also looks incredible on your bathroom vanity – but that’s totally not important, gosh you guys.
