It’s actually happening, people. Victoria Beckham just announced she’ll be launching her own beauty line this year - and we’re already making room in our bathroom vanity, because we’ll take one of everything, thanks.
The fashion mogul recently made the announcement via Instagram, and judging by the HUGE response (the post racked up over 700,000 views and thousands of comments), we can safely say that the Internet is rather pleased with this news.
Just take a look at this little slice of joy:
Aptly named Victoria Beckham Beauty, the brand is going to be online-only with products available exclusively at victoriabeckhambeauty.com.
"I was going direct to the consumer with regards to fashion before I had a standalone store, so this isn't new to me," Victoria said in a statement. "Just like I spend so much time in the fitting room getting to know what my customers want to wear, I'm going to be asking women to tell me which products they want me to develop for them in the beauty and wellness arenas. It's important for me to know what they want."
So, what can we expect from the new range? Well, by the sounds of it we’re going to be spoiled for choice, because it looks like there’s actually a hellava collection in the works!
"I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in makeup, skin care, fragrance and wellness that I feel I need in my own life," says Victoria.
Yep, start saving those monies, ASAP.
And we already know it’s going to be good. This isn’t Victoria’s first (beauty) rodeo - she’s already launched two wildly successful makeup collaborations with Estée Lauder and her skin is pretty much the glowiest thing getting around, so yeah - she knows what’s up.
While we don’t have exact details on the launch date jusssst yet, we’ll keep you posted when we know more.
