Whitney Port-Rosenman is one of those celebrities who feels like a close friend. Is it because we know her personally? Ha, No. Ohhh but it's because we've met her a couple of times? Nope, never, not even once. Perhaps it's because a couple years back we exchanged brief words via Instagram DMs? No, haven't done that either.
Truthfully, it all comes down to the fact that we've just watched copious amounts of her on TV throughout the years; from The Hills to The City and, more recently, the YouTube channel she shares with her husband Timmy.
Outside of that, she also just seems so goddamn nice, which is also why hearing her open up about her recent health troubles hit us so hard. We're concerned about our girl – and it turns out so is her hubby (a man who actually knows her).
What did Whitney Port-Rosenman say about her health?
In a post shared to her Instagram Story, Port-Rosenman revealed that effective immediately she will be actively focusing on her health after her husband voiced concerns over her weight.
What began with fans and strangers on the internet sharing their two cents without understanding much about Port-Rosenman's lifestyle, the fashion designer "chalked it up to people not knowing about my diet." However, when the concern came directly from her husband, the message landed a little differently.
"Timmy brought it to my attention, as a good husband should, and said it's not just something strangers are spewing," she wrote. "He had been worried about me."
Thankfully, it appears there's nothing more sinister at play and Port-Rosenman squashed any suspicions of underlying health issues by stating that the issue stems from being "too lazy to make feeding myself a priority or I'm too picky when it comes to taste and quality." All of which she was quick to bravely call out as being "unacceptable" and run the risk of setting unhealthy examples.
After sitting down with her husband, stepping on the scales and really evaluating where the change in habits have stemmed from, the ex-reality star has made the commitment to herself, family and fans that her "health with be a priority."
Go Whit! You've got our unwavering support.
