How to get 'Bridgerton' star Yerin Ha's radiant red carpet glow
Bridgerton's breakout star, Yerin Ha, captivated us with her on screen romance with Benedict Bridgerton — and her character Sophie Baek's minimal makeup.
But the Australian-Korean actress is just as radiant on the red carpet as she is on the Netflix series.
At the recent Actor Awards, the 28 year old went for a '60s inspired glam moment to compliment her custom Balenciaga fit.
“For tonight, the focus was radiant, expensive-looking skin," Yerin Ha's makeup artist, Misha Shahzada explains. "I used Merit Beauty’s cream-based formulas throughout — complexion, blush, and eyes — so everything feels cohesive and melts into the skin."
"The cream shadows create soft, modern dimension without the dryness of powder, and I added pops of colour to the cheeks and lips while highlighting the high points of the face to finish the look.”

Yerin Ha's radiant red carpet glow routine
Considering Ha barely wears any makeup as Sophie Baek in Bridgerton, we're not surprised to see a comprehensive skin care routine in her makeup artist's kit for red carpet events.
Shahzada prepped Ha's skin with Beauty Of Joseon's Revive Under Eye Patch Ginseng + Retinal ($42 from MYER), and Merit's Great Skin Glow Serum ($65 from Merit Beauty) and Great Skin Priming Moisturiser ($63 from Merit Beauty).
Then she laid down her base: "Merit Minimalist Complexion Stick in 'Sand' and 'Bisque' ($63 from Merit Beauty) buffed together into skin using Merit's Blending Brush No. 1 ($52 from Merit Beauty), Merit Bronze Balm in ‘Clay’ ($52 from Merit Beauty) to the parameters of the face and contour, [and] Merit Flush Balm in ‘Bespoke’ ($48 from Merit Beauty) to the cheeks."
Shahzada also added light back into the face using Merit Day Glow Highlighting Balm in ‘Cava’ ($52 from Merit Beauty), tapping it onto the high points of the face, to enhance Ha's natural glow.
The makeup artist channelled '60s glam, filling in Ha's arches with Merit Brow 1990 in ‘Sheer Black’ ($38 from Merit Beauty), accentuating her lashes with Merit Clean Lash Lengthening Mascara in ‘Black’ ($44 from Merit Beauty).
Then she used Merit Solo Shadows in ‘Studio’, ‘Surrealism’, and ‘Brun’ ($42 from Merit Beauty) to create a modern take on a '60s cat eye, blending everything with the Merit Brush No. 2 ($32 from Merit Beauty). And enhanced Ha's natural lip colour with the Merit Signature Lip Liner in 'Sportif' ($38 from Merit Beauty) and the Merit Signature Lip Blush in ‘Andie’ ($44 from Merit Beauty).
