Zoe Foster Blake’s secret to growing out a fringe

Because that in-between stage can be awkward
Because that in-between stage can be awkward
We love a good fringe. And we love the no-fringe look. But that in-between phase as you go from having a clearly defined fringe to deciding to grow it out can be tricky. How do you style it? How do you deal with its awkward shape and the untameable way it sits?
Actually, the solution is quite simple. Thanks to this genius trick.
Once again, beauty aficionado and owner of the cult beauty brand Go-To Skincare, Zoe Foster Blake has come through with some seriously good advice (and some pretty awesome inspo pics to boot) on how to manage your fringe as it grows out. And it involves one of your favourite childhood accessories – hair clips (yep, the very same ones Kendall Jenner made cool again at the end of last year!).
Zoe recently posted a number of fun yet sophisticated hairstyles on her Instagram story that use clips to sweep those grown-out fringes away from the face for a fresh and youthful look.

Grouped in twos and threes, and covered in pearls, beads, glitter and bright pops of colour, we know our inner five-year-old is screaming at the undeniable cuteness of this trend.

This trend is all about going big (literally and figuratively) with OTT maximalist clips, but if you’re more of a minimalist we suggest an understated hair slide or layering bobby pins for a classic look.
