Spotted on cool-girls everywhere over the last few weeks, the double eyeliner trend has transcended the confines of the runway and hit the streets. We anticipate this trend will be huge in 2020 so get ahead of the curve and check out our tips on achieving the look here.
Thanks to the popularity of teen drama Euphoria, bold, experimental makeup has surged into the mainstream. When it comes to achieving this gen Z look, really anything goes. Neon eyeshadow, face jewels and of course loads of shimmer. Feel free to leave your neutral eyeshadow palette in 2019!
Hair clips – again!
2019 was a huge year for the humble hair clip and the trend is showing zero signs of slowing down. According to new data released by Pinterest, searches on the virtual pinboard platform for hair clips have been up by a huge 930 per cent. From resin snap clips to pearl-studded slides, we’re spoilt for choice.
Braids of all sorts
Once seen as a hairstyle reserved for schoolgirls, braids are coming back in a big way for 2020 with Pinterest searches for “braided hairstyles” currently being up by 329 per cent. Try sporty boxer-braids for a hairstyle that will last the distance from the office to the gym or try a relaxed low-slung braid with statement makeup for a fun weekend look.
The last 12 months have delivered loads of fresh new nail trends and another new trend has just started taking off. Here to see us into the new year are milky nails which look pretty much exactly like they sound! Nails are painted in white, hyper-glossy polishes with a very slight translucency.
