As the second most common cancer found in women (melanoma is the first), chances are you or someone you know has been affected by breast cancer. And while we advocate contributing to breast cancer research year-round, by having October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, charities and big-name brands alike are able to focus their efforts on making a difference in one big concentrated push. To celebrate the brands that are contributing to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’ve rounded up five products where a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to breast cancer charities.
ghd X Lulu Guinness Collection
If you’re looking for a new styler to add to your hair tools kit, make it this one from ghd. $20 from the sale of each of these limited edition straighteners (which were made in collaboration with UK fashion accessories designer, Lulu Guinness) will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Sand & Sky Limited Edition Charity Robe & Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment
Pamper yourself in style with Sand & Sky’s tongue-in-cheek robe and Flash Perfecting Exfoliating Treatment. Throughout October, 30 per cent of the profits from the sales of these kits will be donated to Look Good Feel Better.
Frankie Peach Take Care Of Ya Girls Scarf
If you’ve been paying attention to hair trends over the past year or so, you will have noticed that hair scarves are back in a big way. In order to keep your ‘do trending and make a difference to the lives of cancer sufferers, make sure to check out this silk scarf from Frankie Peach. As a cancer survivor herself, the co-founder of the brand, Sali Sasi has pledged to donate 100 per cent of the profits of each sale to Pink Hope and their life-saving services.
