Is Bella Hadid launching a fragrance brand?

All signs point to yes

Beauty Crew Beauty Editor / February 28 2024

Bella Hadid has been a proud co-owner of the non-alcoholic beverage brand Kin Euphorics since 2021, but the model appears to be investing in a solo venture set to launch on the 2nd of May.

Hadid's new brand is called Orebella and although the 27 year old hasn't dropped many hints about what we can expect from the business. She has been public about meeting with beauty retailer Ulta earlier this year on February 9th, sharing a photo of herself posed in front of the brand's logo, in what appears to be the corporate waiting room of Ulta's offices.

Hadid also registered trademarks under the brand name Orabella in 2022 for products such as fragrances, scented body and face lotions, face and body oils, scented haircare, air fragrance reed diffusers, incense, scented candles, air deodorisers and essential oil diffusers.

Considering the model is Palestinian on her father's side, and the brand's logo aesthetic appears to marry cyber and Arab influences, we have suspicions that traditional Arab fragrance will play a part in the brand's identity.

Oud is typically found in most Arab fragrances, and the richly scented perfume ingredient is referred to as 'liquid gold', so we expect we'll see it play a role in the brand's product's scent profiles.

We also think that Bella's interest in wellness as a California native, and the fact that she's someone who lives with chronic illness (she was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2013), will also have a major influence on the brand's intentions.

She's officially launched Orabella's Instagram account, which you can check out here, and customers can register their interest in first access to the launch in May via the Orabella website

Is Bella Hadid moving away from full-time modelling? Charlotte Tilbury just released her from her ambassador contract.

She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends.
