The model and actress has landed a huge contract

Cara Delevingne, star of the soon-to-be released Suicide Squad, queen of the bold brow, and advocate for a brilliantly-placed braid, has just been been named the face of one of the biggest UK makeup brands.

Rimmel London has announced that the British model will be joining the likes of Kate Moss and Georgia May Jagger as a global brand ambassador, and will be starring in a range of ad campaigns for Rimmel.

Cara said of her appointment, “I’m honoured to be working with Rimmel London. It’s the first makeup brand I was introduced as a teenager. I’m a London girl through and through, and Rimmel London truly captures and represents the city’s edgy cosmopolitan beauty styles.”

And the brand is equally excited to be working with the supermodel and actress, with the Vice President of Global Marketing saying, “Cara Delevingne’s striking look and unique sense of style mean she’s the personification of Rimmel cool. With her prodigious talents and fearless spirit, she’s a true inspiration to young women everywhere.”

While there’s been no word yet on what product launches or campaigns Cara will be working on, we’re placing bets on Rimmel releasing some stellar brow grooming, enhancing and defining products. But watch this space, we'll be sure to update you with more!
