While the chances of scoring yourself an invite to the Met Gala (the most exclusive red carpet event on the celebrity calendar) is slim, you can still feel like a star for the day (or night) by replicating one of the many glamorous A-list makeup looks.
If you’re looking to expand your makeup kit (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?!), check out the exact shades our favourite celebrities wore at the 2017 Met Gala.
We loved how Rita paired a striking platinum hairstyle with a classic and glamorous makeup look. To create the singer’s scarlet lip colour, makeup artist, Kathy Jeung layered two bright shades together before setting the colour with translucent powder. She used Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in Kiss of Life and Rimmel London Show Off Lip Velvet in Burning Lava.
Kim kept it simple at this year’s event, opting for her signature nude lip. The reality star’s makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic used CHANEL Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Color in Libre.
While Zendaya’s hair definitely stole the show, we loved how perfectly her bronze and peach makeup complemented her stunning dress. To create the singer’s coral lip, celebrity makeup artist Sheika Daley applied COVERGIRL Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick in Tan-Gel-O.
