Beauty Crew sent Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads and Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to a panel of women aged 18 to 39 with a variety of skin types, including sensitive skin, who needed a cleansing solution that could cut through their daily makeup with minimal effort.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads and Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

The eco-friendly aspect: We don’t know about you, but there’s something doubly satisfying about a cleansing option that’s also friendly on the planet. Our reviewers are a bit over single-use makeup wipes, so the reusable eco pads were a welcome change from the more wasteful option.

How effective the cleansing duo was: When used together, reviewers found that the reusable pads and micellar water gently but effectively cleansed their skin, no matter what they’d done that day. We’re talking buh-bye to makeup, dirt and impurities with just a few thorough swipes of the micellar-soaked pads.

A little goes a long way: Even though our reviewers were sent a mini-sized bottle of micellar water, when paired with the eco pads many of them admitted they still had ample product to play with. Only a few drops were needed to get the job done.

“Obsessed with how soft the [Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads] are an absolute game changer not only because of how incredibly soft they feel but no longer do we need to pay $7+ a month on single use make up wipes when you can purchase these eco pads for a few extra dollars and get more use out of them. It’s such a vibe to not only be helping the environment by no longer using single use wipes but to also be saving a few dollars a month is amazing. Also the best thing that I thought was satisfying to see is when you’ve wiped off all your makeup and run it under the tap to give the pad a clean to see all the product wash off.”

“I used [Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads] together with the micellar cleansing water as part of the REVIEWcrew and I got to say I love this! They work so well together. The pad is so soft to touch and it's so great for my sensitive skin. “[Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water] hands down has to be one of the best micellar waters I have used. What I love most about this product is how effective it is at removing makeup - including stubborn mascaras! The added bonus is that it's very gentle on my skin even though I have sensitive skin from time to time. Another feature to this micellar water is how it leaves my skin feeling. It literally feels like I have splashed water on my skin as it doesn't leave a residue/film which I often find some of the other brands do. When used in conjunction with the Garnier Eco Pads, a little goes a long way, therefore you will get a few uses out of the bottle.”

“Super cost effective and easy makeup removal option. [Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water] is a staple in my night time routine (after a long day of wearing makeup). I like to use it after a cleanser to remove the harder to get eye makeup and the makeup I may have missed in my cleansing (along the hairline, jaw and neckline). I don't experience any stinging or burning, so it is great to use in the more sensitive areas of my face. There is no need to rub or scrub the makeup off, a single swipe is often enough to remove my eye shadow. I love the tiny bottle we received, as it's so easy to have in your hand bag, at your desk or for travel/gym. I would imagine the bigger bottle would last you forever, as you only need a few drops a night.”
