The product

For those of us blessed with sensitive skin, finding a product that effectively cleanses skin without stripping it of moisture and leaving behind a dull, lacklustre complexion is a tall order.

Garnier Micellar Rose Water Clean & Glow comes through on all counts for all the sensitive-skinned folks out here, combining the deep cleaning action of micelles with hydrating and brightening rose water for a clean, radiant and dewy complexion.

Plus, with a delicate rose scent, even your nose will be thanking you for adding this to your cleansing routine.

Our panel of Review Crew® testers put this gentle no-rinse cleanser to the test.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent Garnier Micellar Rose Water Clean & Glow to a panel of women aged between 18 and 35, who identify as having dull and sensitive skin.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about Garnier Micellar Rose Water Clean & Glow.

How gentle it was: Our members LOVED how gentle the rose water formula was on skin, with many reviewers saying they had opted to switch out their usual micellar of choice for this sensitive-skin friendly option.

It effectively removed makeup: Reviewers were impressed by just how easily they were able to remove their makeup, and when using cotton pads soaked in the micellar water, they were able to break down and remove even the most stubborn long-wearing mascara.

The pleasant rose aroma: Members loved the rose water micellar water’s subtle aroma of rose, with one reviewer saying, “The Rosewater fragrance is just divine, and it effectively cleaned my face with a single swipe.”

The verdict

“It did a great job at removing my eye and lip makeup, before cleansing. I also loved using this on q-tips to fix any eye makeup mistakes. It works to gently remove makeup without rubbing and leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. On mornings when I don’t wash my face I just wipe it over with some of this product on a cotton pad and it’s enough to give me a great base for the day. Would definitely buy this when it runs out!”

“It is a superb makeup remover… It removes everything, liquid lipstick, eyeliner, cream eyeshadow, mascara, etc. And it does it without irritating my sensitive skin, and afterwards it feels like I have just toned my face. I have noticed my complexion looking a little brighter, due to the rosewater.”

“Since I've been using the Garnier rose micellar water, my skin has a glow, less imperfections and after than before. It is amazing at removing any excess makeup that my face wash misses. It is light on the skin, super subtle, yet pleasant aroma of rose and not oily on my skin. I am also someone who has sensitivities to all sorts of different products - I have not had any reaction so far, which is amazing because I love this product, I love the price and it is staying on my routine!”
