An old favourite takes a bold spin

There’s something about the Kardashian-Jenners that have us hanging on their every beauty move. Whether it’s nude lips, new wigs, eyeshadow kits or beauty tutorials via Snapchat, we’re 100 per cent hooked. So it’s no surprise Kendall Jenner’s beauty look on the October cover of Vogue Japan grabbed our attention.

We don’t know whether she’s channelling Wednesday Addams or her primary school days, but her dark hair boldly parted in the middle and slicked down into tight braided pigtails is a throwback look made cool again. Hairstylist Luigi Murenu was the man behind the powerful hairstyle, no doubt involving a bunch of smoothing creams, spritzes and hairspray to get it so neat and sleek.

We love that they haven’t shied away from going super bold and dark here, with her crimson lips, dramatic smoky eyes and sculpted cheeks revving up the intensity with Kendall’s schoolgirl hairstyle.

Whether you choose one or all of these beauty elements from Kendall’s cover look, we know this is another win from the family of hair and makeup lovers.
