The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the Kérastase Blond Absolu Range.

The way their blonde looked after using the range: Reviewers were very impressed with the range's ability to neutralise unwanted brassy tones in their blonde and grey hair.  Members noted that unlike other toning products they had tried previously, the continued use of the Blond Absolu range helped maintain and extend the life of their in-salon colour considerably without drying out or damaging their hair.

The way their hair felt after using the range: Members were very pleased with the nourishing qualities of the shampoo, conditioner and treatment, with many commenting that they had seen a noted improvement in the overall health of their hair. They found that their hair was left shiny, silky and soft and that their frizz and fly-aways were minimised and smoothed. In particular, those with curly hair loved how the range left their curls looking more defined and bouncy than usual.

The convenience of the Cicaplasme: Review Crew® members loved the fact that the Cicaplasme leave-in treatment allowed them to streamline their styling time by combining benefits of multiple products. They liked the fact that they could have one product that would allow them to keep unwanted brassy tones at bay AND helped prolong the life of styling, with many saying they felt their hair needed to be washed less frequently than usual after using the Cicaplasme treatment.

The verdict

“I have used yellow toning shampoos and conditioners before and never really liked the way they left my hair feeling coarse and dry. With Kérastase, the result was soft, shiny, beautiful-smelling hair without any of the unwanted yellow, brassy or dull tones.”

“The product definitely removed the brassy tones from my hair and it was left feeling soft and bouncy which was nice as my hair is usually dull, frizzy and lifeless. I would recommend this to people with blonde hair and would purchase again.”
Review Crew® member
“This product is great to neutralise brassy tones and also smooth any flyaways or frizz. I love how it can be used on wet hair to protect from heat or on dry hair for styling. Love this product.”
