Absolutely love this shampoo! it left my hair feeling hydrated and luminous afterwards. I often found a lot of shampoos weren't taking the greasiness out of my hair but this one worked an absolute treat! The lid of the bottle is a little bit awkward to use in the shower.
Oh my gosh, the Kérastase Blond Absolu Bain Lumiére is an expensive shampoo but definitely worth it. I have dry, fragile hair and dyed my hair blond so was on the hunt for a good quality shampoo and decided to try this shampoo. After few use my hair is so smooth, silky, nourishing and no more itchy scalp. I have tried lots of other shampoo but the result doesn't match to this one.
I loved these Kérastase products. The packaging and the fragrance were very alluring and fresh and clean. Exactly how the Kérastase Blond Absolu Bain Lumiére made my hair, clean and fresh. The large lid was easy to handle in the shower and I loved the gel like consistency of the product as it did not run off your hand before you could apply it to your hair. The foaming was easy and fine and did not need much to get a good lather - although I do have short hair. The best part was that it did not leave your hair feeling stripped of moisture and brightened my blonds without altering the balance with my low lights. I will continue to use this excellent product that delivers as advertised.
I am a natural blonde and was excited to try this shampoo. Firstly, I really enjoyed the smell - very fresh with a hint of citrus. Secondly, I liked how the shampoo gave a nice deep cleanse without weighing hair down. Overall, my hair was nice and shiny from it. I would definitely buy this shampoo again .
I love the Blond Absolu range. The shampoo lathers well and smells beautiful. I have highlighted hair and using this with the conditioner/mask has improved the texture, moisture and tone of my hair really well. It is much smoother and stays that way longer between washes. I think the packaging is gorgeous. I have a lot of respect for Kérastase products, I think they are very good quality.
I trialled this product as well as the Masque Ultra-Violet and the Cicaplasme as a member of the Review Crew.  My hair is quite thick with a combination of light and medium blonde highlights.  I loved the light fragrance of this shampoo and that I only needed a small amount of the shampoo to get a good lather and clean my hair.  I found the bottle difficult to open and close in the shower but other than that I will continue to use this product.
My hair feels so freaking clean - this shampoo is magic.  I have a really sensitive scalp, that's only become more sensitive since I had head surgery last year that included 48 staples in my head and 5 stitches in my neck. The only other time my hair has felt this clean before was when I was using the Christoph Robin sea salt scrub shampoo, but I had to stop using that after my surgery.  This is perfect to use. It's so incredibly gentle, lathers amazingly and leaves my hair feeling light as air. My hair isn't as knotty and looks fantastic. I can even air dry my hair now and it looks great. My hair looks so shiny, healthy and bouncy! This isn't a toning shampoo by any means, even though it is slightly purple - don't expect it to be on a Fudge Clean Blonde level. I've removed 1 star because it isn't a cruelty free brand (please consider changing your testing methods Kérastase) and the packaging is really awkward to use in the shower (but the bottle is so pretty).
I trialled this product in conjunction with the Kérastase Blond Absolu Masque Ultra- and the Kérastase Blond Absolu Cicaplasme.I have naturally long brown/blond hair with blond foils. This cleanser was contained in attractive  and luxurious looking packaging, I loved the fragrance and what a good natural product to use to gently coax my hair back to the land of the living! This product removed the brassy tones from my hair and it was left feeling soft, bouncy and sexy.  My sensitive scalp felt clean and fresh, not oily or dry. I would recommend this product to people with ( natural or otherwise ) blond hair. It’s worth the indulgence.
I trialled the Kerastse Blond Absolu Bain Lumiere (shampoo) together with the Masque Ultra-Violet (mask) and Cicaplasm (leave-in serum). I have professionally colour-treated hair which takes me from salt-and-pepper brunette to cool-tone dark blonde. I visit my hairdresser Sarah every seven weeks when the brassiness sets in and the roots get too hard to hide.  At first, I was a little apprehensive about testing Kerastase’s purple hair products, and messing around with all of Sarah’s hard work. However, since it had been six weeks since my last salon visit and I still had another week to hold out, there wasn’t much to lose. After one wash, a quick minute with the mask and a squirt of the serum, my hair felt clean, fresh and manageable, but there was no discernible difference to the colour.  A couple of days later, I tried again, and left the mask on for a few more minutes.  I could certainly see an improvement then! The brassy tones were neutralised and there was a nice shine to my hair.  It’s the mask that seems to make the biggest difference I feel, and the instructions say you can leave it on for as long as 10 minutes.  I’m not sure how the products would perform with ongoing regular use, but I’m definitely going to make room for them during the week 4-7 period when I need a freshen up between salon visits. The Blond Absolu range seems to help prolong the crisper cool tones in my hair.  The shampoo has a fresh, light lemon-like scent. It’s not overly sudsy which I enjoy.
This shampoo worked beautifully on my hair as I had recently used a new colour that was a bit brassy and this toned it back after the first wash.    It is packaged beautifully and I like how it dispenses with a very controlled amount and a good soft gel texture that is not overly perfumed, just a hint of luscious scent that does not irritate my scalp.   I also noticed that I did not have hair strands falling out or breaking off while blow drying after the shampoo which was a big win for me.   Love the colour of this gorgeous Kerastase range too.
Loved this shampoo great balance between really cleaning your hair and not stripping out the colour or shine.I did however, find the bottle a little awkward to open in the shower and you would want to make sure the lid goes back on properly. Although this is on the expensive side it feels like a quality product.
I had never used a Kerastase product so I was very excited to try them to see if they lived up to the hype. I love how this shampoo smells! It takes a little time to lather on me but it does a good job of cleaning the hair. I haven't noticed any improvement in my blond highlights but it's a very pleasant product to use. I have curly dry hair and I didn't see any improvement in softness or any additional nourishment, however, it seems to keep the frizz down. The packaging is pretty but the screw top bottle is just not practical when you are in the shower.  All in all, it's a decent shampoo but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it, especially based on price and the amount of product you get.
Great shampoo though you need to be sure not to use too much. Works really well to clean hair without stripping hair of shine. Worked with my very thick wavy hair and I only needed to use a very small amount so economical in the long term given the cost of the product.
I trialled this product in conjunction with the Kérastase Blond Absolu Masque Ultra- and the Kérastase Blond Absolu Cicaplasme.I have naturally blond hair but get blond foils as I don't go out in the sun enough for it to get natural highlights. I found the packaging is very nice looking but not super functional as its difficult to get the lid back on whilst holding the gel in the other hand. The product definitely removed the brassy tones from my hair and it was left feeling soft and bouncy which was nice as my hair is usually dull, frizzy and lifeless. I would recommend this product to people with blond hair and would purchase again.
The Bain Lumiere clear shampoo cleaned my hair well without leaving it feeling stripped. It has a light fragrance and I didn't need to use much product to get a good result. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it. My hair colour is medium blonde with lighter highlights and it can get a little brassy at times. I would use this again.
This was a fantastic product. There was definitely a noticeable change to the blonde highlights of my hair. No brassiness-just beautiful highlights. I would highly recommend this product and will definitely continue to use it. I have always liked the Kerastase range of hair products and although at the higher price point they are certainly worth the $$
I have used purple shampoos before and found they left my hair dry and knotty.  This product lathered really well and left my hair feeling nourished, clean and smooth used together with the Cicaflash conditioner.  I have recently had my colour refreshed and could not any see brassiness after using these products but feel I would need to use them a bit longer to judge whether they would keep yellow tones away until next salon visit.  I would purchase this product again due to it leaving my hair clean but not dry.
I am a big fan of the Kérastase Blond Absolu Bain Lumiére. I enjoyed everything about using the product. It foamed up really well when working it in to the head/scalp, smelt delicious and was easy to wash out - not like some shampoos that always leave your hair feeling like it’s got a coating on it. My hair doesn’t look brassy and has been really easy to manage.
I am a big fan of Kerastase Nutritive range (orange bottles) with my favourite products being Bain Satin and Nectar Thermique. The Blond Absolu range was a pleasure to trial and I will definitely continue to use it.  I enjoyed the smell of this range too, it’s not as strong as the Nutritive range, the Absolu range is light and floral. I have dark blond hair with natural light – medium blond highlights. My highlights are prone to getting brassy, especially in the summer when I am often in the pool. This shampoo is a gel texture so not as nourishing as the Bain Satin but definitely more nourishing than the Bain Cristal which I found a bit too harsh. I have fine hair but lots of it and achieved good volume and reduced brassiness when using Bain Lumiere. For a gel texture, this shampoo lathered into a really luxurious texture and not much was needed to get a great lather going. I use a lot of dry shampoo between washes and found this shampoo to do a good job of removing product build up. I received lots of compliments from family and friends after using this range, they asked if I had been to the salon. Doesn't get much better than that!
