Kylie Jenner is in her soft glam era and we've got the recipe to recreate it

"I wear a lot less [makeup]"

The internet are labelling it her “Timothée era”. In fact, in a round of 'siblings or dating' that we never saw coming, some users are even beginning to draw similarities between the rumoured pair's appearances. But whatever the reason for Kylie Jenner’s new pared-back makeup look, we’re downright obsessed.

Truthfully, up until this year and in particular Jenner’s latest few Instagram posts, many of us mightn’t have known that her face is actually the home to a scattering of gorgeous freckles. After all, we’re talking about a complexion that became iconic for its airbrushed finish (thanks to max powdering and face-sculpting contour wizardry).

Whether it’s her European holiday era, her mum era or she’s just feeling more confident to show off a bare face, we’re loving seeing this side of King Kylie. And just quietly, we hope there’s a Kylie Cosmetics collection in the works that will allow us to achieve an au natural glam as pretty as Jenner's.

In the meantime however, we’ve got Jenner’s most recent “classic Kylie” makeup tutorial (plus a few pointers of our own to go off).

“I’ve changed my look a lot—I think that I’m into more natural skin,” Jenner told Vogue back in April. “I wear a lot less, but I’ve accomplished the same snatched look.”

How to achieve Kylie Jenner’s pared-back makeup look…

To begin, for a sheer and more natural finish, ditch the tools. “I do feel like now that I’m using my hands more,” she said. “My foundation just looks different.”

For a finish as dewy and glowy as Jenner’s, we love Guerlain’s Terracotta Le Teint ($108 at David Jonesand the Chanel N°1 De Chanel Revitalizing Foundation ($110 at Chanel).

Like us, it appears Jenner has adapted to life since the KKW Beauty Contour Sticks were discontinued. “I feel like the way that I contour now is definitely less harsh,” she said.

In place of a sharper sculpt, Jenner injects warmth into the higher points of her face using the Nudestix Foundation Stick ($52 at Sephora).

Now for the rosy flush, Jenner mixes two shades of the Kylie Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Glow Balm ($30 at Kylie Cosmetics) for a “hydrating” wash of colour. Though the exact shades she’s using are unknown, you won’t go wrong with any of the four neutral shades (clear included).

As for her pinky-nude lips, we’re giving complete (and unconfirmed) credit to the beauty founder’s latest release, the Tinted Butter Balm in the shade ‘Kylie’ ($29 at MECCA).

To complete the look we suspect Jenner is taking to her lashes with a curler (like the Lashgro Australia Eyelash Curler, $24.95 at Lashgro) and skipping the mascara altogether  Molly-Mae Hague style.

Turns out Kylie isn't the only Jenner sister who likes to mix things up. Here are Kendall Jenner's chicest hairstyles to date...
