The Review Crew® Report: L’Oréal False Lash Sculpt Mascara

What our reviewers had to say about the tightlining mascara

Beauty Crew Beauty Editor / May 25 2017

The Review Crew® panel

Beauty Crew sent L’Oréal Paris False Lash Sculpt Mascara, a volumising mascara with a specially-designed sculpting brush, to a panel of women aged between 25 and 45 who are looking to add more definition to their eyes and extra volume to lashes.

What they loved

How it could tightline: Many members loved that definition could be added to eyes by pressing the mascara wand into their lashlines.

How it thickened lashes: Many Review Crew® members commented that the mascara lengthened, separated and added volume to their lashes.

How long-wearing the formula is: Reviewers made mention that the mascara stayed put and didn’t flake, even after wearing it all day and night.

This may not be for you if…

You like to reapply your mascara through the day: While the Review Crew® panel found that the mascara was great to apply to bare lashes, a few members did mention that second applications after the formula had dried caused clumping.

The verdict

The targeted brush makes for a super easy and accurate application, which is always a good thing.

The brush is really easy to use - it's like a double comb and it makes it really easy to coat every lash.

I liked how the mascara coated my lashes from root to tip completely. I only needed one coat. The mascara gave my lashes a curve, making them appear to be curled, really opening up my eye.
