The Review Crew® Report: L’Oréal Paris Nude Magique Cushion

Cushion compact foundations have been big in Asia for a while, but L’Oréal Paris was the first to bring the revolutionary and innovative trend to the mass market with Nude Magique Cushion.

We gathered a selection of women, aged between 18 and 39 with dry to normal skin types, from the Review Crew® panel to try the liquid foundation compact, and here’s what they had to say.

The Review Crew® verdict:

After testing the liquid foundation, the Review Crew® panel were impressed with the formulation, with the majority saying that the formula glided onto skin and blended easily, to leave a radiant, natural finish, that most found lasted all day. Those prone to shininess commented that their T-zone remained oil-free by the end of the day.

While most appreciate the light, sheer coverage the foundation provided, some did find that the formula could be layered and built to achieve the desired result, while still looking and feeling light and natural.

In terms of packaging, the Review Crew® panel were pleased with the small size of the compact, stating it made it convenient to take the foundation in a handbag for touch-ups during the day. There were mixed reviews about the cushion applicator, with some raving about the ease of application and limiting of product wastage, while others preferred to use a foundation brush or beauty blender to apply.
