Take it from London Fashion Week, it’s time to let your natural hair texture run free

This London Fashion Week Hair Trend Will Convince You To Embrace Your Natural Hair Texture

Put down the heat tools

London Fashion Week Spring 2020 has just wrapped up, leaving in its wake a stack of stunning new beauty trends to try.

When it came to hair, one of the standout looks for the whole week was spotted at JW Anderson’s show, where the models’ natural hair texture roamed free, and frizz and fly-aways were embraced rather than being tamed.

Check it out:

We’re loving this effortless French-girl meets Aussie beach-girl vibe.

Although loose, undone waves have been having a huge moment over the last couple of years, this is a whole new take on the trend. Instead of creating contrived waves using heat tools, it was very refreshing to see the models’ natural hair texture take centre stage.

If you’d like to try the look yourself, we recommend leaving your hair to dry naturally, or roughly drying it using a hair-dryer and your fingers instead of a brush.

To complete the look, don’t even think about touching your straightener or curling tongs – rather, give your hair a couple of spritzes with texturising spray. We love ELEVEN I Want Body Texture Spray and Hair By Sam McKnight Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist.

This is one wearable IRL hair trend we’ll be getting on board with.

If you’re looking for more runway-worthy hair inspo, check out the new way to wear silk hair scarves, as seen at New York Fashion Week Spring 2020.
