The eco-friendly haircare range you need to add to your shopping list

Here’s what our Review Crew® had to say about the fine hair-approved products

The product

While we’re all becoming more aware of the products and ingredients we’re putting on our hair and skin, many of us still avoid using natural or eco-friendly products because we believe they simply aren’t as effective as their chemical counterparts. But natural beauty has come a long way with new and innovative natural formulas yielding impressive results.

For instance, the L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Lavender hair care range, which features a shampoo, conditioner and mask, only includes potent and raw botanicals from around the world and is free from parabens, silicones and colourants. And most importantly, they actually work wonders, especially on fine hair. The three formulas help soothe sensitive scalps and hydrate delicate hair.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Lavender ShampooConditioner and Mask to a panel of women aged between 25 and 54 who have fine hair and suffer from a sensitive scalp.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Lavender range:

How hydrated and soft the three products left their hair: Many Review Crew® members commented on how all the products boosted shine while leaving their hair feeling incredibly nourished and soft.

How the formula didn’t irritate sensitive scalps: Testers with sensitive scalps liked how the range soothed their sensitive scalps and didn’t cause any irritation or itchiness.

The natural and sustainable formula: Members across the board loved that the shampoo, conditioner and mask were all formulated with potent and raw botanicals and that they didn’t contain any nasties.

The eco-conscious packaging: The vast majority of reviewers appreciated that the three products came in packaging that was made from 100 per cent recyclable PET and were 100 per cent recyclable after use.

The verdict

“This shampoo smells so divine! It cleans and lathers better than I expected it would, and left my (short & curly) hair soft and bouncy without being limp, which is what usually happens when I deviate from my usual 'poo routine! Overall this was a beautiful product, so pleased I got the chance to try it. I loved using it on my kids as well; all the better knowing it was free of the usual nasties and they smelled so delicious afterwards as well!”

“I have straight, fine hair so I often struggle to find conditioners that don't leave my hair weighed down. It was such a relief to discover this conditioner was an exception to this rule. My hair felt fantastic after using this (along with the shampoo range!). It gleamed with a natural shiny glow and to top it off it smells beautiful with the lavender aroma! Love it!”

“This was the first time I had tried a mask as a part of my hair care routine and I’m sold! I found that my fine, long, straight hair felt easier to manage, less tangled and stronger after using the whole set. I really appreciated the sensitive formula, with no itching or dryness to my scalp. I’ll be looking for these products on the shelves!”
