In case you missed it, the 2020 American Music Awards were on Monday and year-round hottie Megan Thee Stallion was not only performing but also hosting the whole damn thing.

As always, Thee Stallion provided us with a memorable performance, thrashing out a choreo-heavy rendition of her recent chart-topping single “Body”, and later snagged the award for favorite rap/hip hop song alongside Cardi B for their smash-hit “WAP”.:

And whilst we are die hard Stallion stans, we were mesmerised more so throughout the programming by Priscilla Ono’s handiwork. The celeb makeup artist had created a stunning rhinestone cat-eye for the rapper that gave off just the right amount of Dolly Parton vibes:

Though the look may seem like a tough one to replicate at home, stick-on rhinestones  provide a surprisingly easy fix, making the look a great one to impress party goers during the silly season. Simply create a cut crease using a neutral or nude-toned eyeshadow (shimmer if you’re feeling fancy), then add a cat-eye using your favourite eyeliner, dragging out the wing for a more dramatic look if you’re so inclined. Next comes the fun part, adhere the rhinestones (like these glow-in-the-dark jewels or star-shaped gems) to your lid or extend them further up to the brow bone and onto the temples.
