Mia Goth just wore a full face of Korean makeup on the red carpet

Nina Park has become one of the most beloved celebrity makeup artists working today.

She has an undeniable ability to gently amp up the natural beauty of her A-list clients (read: Emma Stone, Zoe Kravitz, and Margaret Qualley), and makeup lovers frequently flock to TikTok, attempting to recreate Park's keen attention to detail and flawless technique.

One could presume that the makeup artist maintains a strict kit full of luxury makeup products, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

Sure, there's mention of Chanel and Dior Beauty in the Instagram breakdowns of her looks, but Park's also a big proponent of Asian beauty brands, and she uses them whenever she can.

In fact, Park recently used an entire kit of affordable products from Korean brand Clio on Mia Goth for the Governor Awards. And the outcome was a testament to her talent as a makeup artist, because the difference between Goth's makeup at the Governor Awards and the full face of Dior Beauty she wore to the BFI London Film Festival in October (also Park's handiwork) is indiscernible.

So how did Park do it? Well, unfortunately Park isn't offering makeup masterclasses as of yet, but she has shared every single product in her kit that she she used to create Goth's Governor Awards makeup look. Keep scrolling to discover what you'll need to achieve Park's signature soft focus style...

The skin prep and base

To achieve Park's signature buttery skin base the makeup artist prepped Goth's complexion by pressing the Clio Glazing Milky Essence ($40.92 from YesStyle) into the Frankenstein actress' skin, and applying a unifying, sheer layer of the Clio Kill Cover Mesh Glow Cushion SPF50+ PA++++ in '21 Linen' ($37.25 from Beauty Amora).

The cheek makeup

Park's makeup looks always feature softly diffused cheek makeup, and we've long pondered how she achieves such an airbrushed finish.

Blessedly, the makeup artist has shared an insight into this exact step in Goth's makeup routine. Park gently swirled cream blush — Clio's Essential Lipcheek Tap in '02 Bunny Blush' ($14.43 from YesStyle) — onto the apples of the cheeks in an upwards and outwards motion with a small pointed powder brush, stopping in line with the outer corners of Goth's eyes.

Then she swept a sheer dusting of the Clio Prism Highlighter in '04 Grace Opal' ($34.29 from Stylevana) onto the outer third of the tops of Goth's cheekbones for a subtle, light-reflecting, natural-looking glow.

The eye look

Goth typically sports a mauve-nude, doe-eyed look on the red carpet, and Park's take on the actress' signature style utilised Clio's Pro Eye Palette Air in '03 Mute Library' ($36.21 from YesStyle) to unify the tone of her lids.

Then she used the Clio Sharp So Simple Waterproof Pencil Liner in '04 Dark Brown' ($10.35 from Beauty Amora) and the Clio Superproof Pen Liner in '001 Black' ($15.17 from YesStyle) to define and thicken Goth's lash line.

The lashes and brows

Park always paints the most fluttery lashes and softly defined arches on her clients, and Goth's makeup at The Governor's Awards was of no exception.

The makeup artist used the Clio Kill Lash Superproof Mascara in '001 Long Volumizing Black' ($18.29 from Beauty Amora) to enhance the actress' own lashes, and then she created a delicate arch with Clio's Kill Brow Auto Hard Eyebrow Pencil in '02 Light Brown' ($24 from W Cosmetics).

The lip combination

Goth's lip combination for the evening was a stroke of genius on Park's part; the artist added a touch of colour to the actress' pout with the Clio Crystal Glam Tint in '20 Vanilla Apple' ($16.41 from Stylevana) and amped up the plump, pillowy effect of the lip makeup by defining the outer edge of Goth's lip line with the Clio Soft Blending Shadow Stick in 'M202 Gray Fudge' ($15.26 from YesStyle),  blending it out with a fluffy brush.
