Ever wanted to emulate the incredible results that you get from a professional facial experience? Now, it’s easier than ever thanks to the latest slew of electrical devices that promise to enhance the eye area and lift tired-looking skin. While they may look incredibly high-tech and complex, we’re actually surprised by how easy they are to use and incorporate into your existing skin care routine. Here, discover three of the best beauty gadgets that are new to the skin care market.

If you have… skin that lacks elasticity

Try: Clarisonic Smart Profile Uplift (available in May)

How it works: The newest innovation from the gadget brand is a new detachable ‘Firming Massage Head’, which works to firm up and tone the skin. Interestingly, this head stays locked into place (as opposed to rotating, like the Brush Head does); it’s the wave motion and sound frequency technology that delivers top results.

Benefits: You can use the regular brush head in the shower for a deep cleanse, but it's the Firming Massage Head that we’re lusting over, which promises to address fine lines, sagging skin, and a lacklustre complexion.

How to use it: Hold the tool perpendicular to your face so that the attachment is flat against your complexion, and move it across your skin with a light pressure. Use this special attachment all over to massage product into the skin, especially any leftover residue from a sheet mask, or other nourishing products like a facial oil, serum or moisturiser.

If you have… tired eyes

Try: Racinne Lady M

How it works: Turn this device on to release galvanic currents of positive and negative ions, and use it on your eye area to help your skin absorb formulas more readily. Best of all, its slender pen-like design can fit into your handbag or travel tote without any issues, which is a true win in our eyes.

Benefits: Not only is it painless, but it can be used in conjunction with your regular eye cream - there’s no need to purchase a new one.

How to use it: Apply your favourite eye cream as per normal, then turn on the device and work it around the eye area. To activate its lifting powers, work the tool from the centre of your face outwards - above and below your brow, then sweep it underneath the eye area to refresh your peepers. If puffy eyes are your nemesis, simply use a light pressure just under your eyes and move towards the temple for best results.

If you have… dry skin

Try: Arbonne Intelligence Genius Ultra

How it works: Similar to the Lady M device, Arbonne’s face tool encompases ultrasound technology, which  helps penetrate your serum or moisturiser into your skin’s layers. The device also has three warmth settings, but even the hottest settling is completely bearable and painless.

Benefits: Expect smoother-looking skin and a healthy, lit-from-within glow when using the device daily with your skin care. Just remember to avoid any areas with acne or open wounds as your skin is far too delicate in these conditions.

How to use it: After cleansing, apply your moisturiser as you would, then turn the device on. Move the tool in overlapping circles all over your face, and finish after one minute of use. If there’s any product leftover, pat it into your skin, and avoid rubbing.
