Our panel of testers share their thoughts on the anti-aging serum
If your main skin care goal is anti-ageing, including a serum is an important step in your skincare routine – not only does it help keep your skin hydrated, but it can help deliver anti-ageing ingredients deep below your skin’s surface to reduce the signs of ageing.
NIVEA’s newest addition to the Q10 range, NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Serum Pearls, features concentrated amounts of conenzyme Q10, an effective anti-ageing ingredient that works boost cell energy, which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while keeping skin nourished and soft.
To test the effectiveness of the product, we gathered a selection of women, aged between 25 and 44 with combination and normal to dry skin types from the Review Crew® panel to try the NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Serum Pearls serum, and here’s what they had to say.
The Review Crew® verdict:
After testing the serum, the Review Crew® were impressed with the formulation, with the majority saying that the product went on silky smooth and was easily absorbed into the skin, leaving a brighter, hydrated and even dewy complexion. Those who went on to apply moisturisers, SPF and makeup commented that the serum acted as a great base that left no oily or greasy feeling.
While the packaging was rated highly with the easy and hygienic pump, opinion was divided on the scent of the formula with some loving the clean and fresh fragrance and others finding it too strong and masculine.
In terms of its anti-ageing benefits, many saw immediate results in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, especially around the mouth and eye areas. While some didn’t see instant-ageing benefits during the trial period, the majority were impressed by the finish of the serum that left skin feeling soft, smooth and supple, and many commented that they’d be happy to continue using the product.
