Buying a new fragrance to wear during the day at work is tricky, to say the least. You don’t want it to be too overpowering or people will be uncomfortable around you, but you at least want to make some sort of statement when you arrive. Here, we round up some of our favourite perfumes.
Narciso Rodriguez Narciso EDP
Just like a big hug on a cold day, this fragrance will warm up your senses in an instant. You’ll spot musk and amber immediately, followed by a blend of florals like gardenia and Bulgarian rose after a few hours of wear.
Estée Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge
Here’s a classic with a twist. If you’re looking for something with a strong rose note, go for Modern Muse’s latest version Le Rouge, featuring a velvet cream accord and notes of ripe fruit for a sparkling touch.
Carven Le Parfum
This understated beauty has notes of mandarin blossom, white hyacinth and some sweet pea and jasmine for good measure. As it settles, it changes character completely; you’ll start to notice notes of white sandalwood and patchouli seep through.
Juicy Couture I Am Juicy Couture EDP
The Juicy girl is all grown up! Their latest launch shows off tangy notes of raspberry and passionfruit, and is pared back with gardenia for a sweet floral treat that settles nicely into cashmere wood.
Chloe See By Chloe Si Belle
Love powdery fragrances? Try Chloe’s lighthearted spritz Si Belle, which has notes of neroli, birch leaf and white musk. But be quick, this limited edition buy will sell out fast.
