Bear Fruits Flamingo Smooth Soft Hair Mask & Hair Cap

This mask was so much fun! It smelt absolutely amazing and the cap made it really funny! I used it right before I jumped into the shower and left it on for about an hour. I washed it off in the shower followed by a shampoo and conditioner and it made my hair feel the softest it’s ever felt! It decreased my frizz and made my hair super silky and smooth. I will definitely be repurchasing and telling my friends and family about this awesome mask. It was super easy and fun to use and would be best suited to those with dry, frizzy or damaged hair.

It smells really good but I feel like it didn’t make any difference to my hair except detangled my hair. It basically felt like I was just putting conditioner in my hair. My favourite part of the hair mask is the hair cap, it’s honestly the best hair cap I’ve ever had. But I really enjoy the packaging it’s bright and appealing to the eye. Would suit someone who just wants to use it to make their hair smell amazing otherwise you’re best finding something that is natural to put in your hair, especially if you have bleached hair like me.

This product super cute and seemed very eyecatching when I first saw it. The mask left my hair feeling so smooth and smell really fresh after I used it. I would say the smoothness only lasted a day or two which was a bit disappointing as I would want it to last longer. I do not regularly use hair masks but would find myself using this product to treat myself on a pampering day. The packaging, however, was the biggest downfall, it was so hard to open especially when I was in the shower!! I lost quite a bit of the product as I couldn't get it properly out with wet hands.

I have thin, coloured hair. I noticed that after using this my hair smelt nice and was smooth and shiny, but I didn't notice any overwhelming or life changing benefits that would make me want to go back and repurchase over and over again. At $13 for a packet, this seems quite expensive compared to similar products on the market that you would get more uses out of. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad product. It would make a nice addition to a gift basket or pamper set, or would be fun to get on a rare occasion as a night in with friends treating yourselves, but it is not something that I am going to be repurchasing anytime soon or adding to part of my regular haircare routine.

I had no idea what to expect with this product. I have never used a hair mask before so I was going into this with a completely fresh perspective. To start off, the packaging is absolutely adorable. It's fun and cute. Also having the cap and mask separate is great. The packaging was a bit tricky to open but I think that it was a smart decision so that the risk of leaks and accidental openings is minimised. The mask itself wasn't anything exciting. It had the yummiest scent which stayed in my hair making me smell like the Strawberry Shortcake doll I used to own as a child. However, I don't think it made any difference to my hair compared to my usual conditioner. It didn't make my hair feel or look worse but it wasn't better either. Also I feel like the amount of mask supplied isn't sufficient. I have very thick hair but I just recently cut it short so I luckily just managed to cover all of my hair. However, if my hair was any longer it would be an impossible task to cover it all. The provided cap is hands down my favourite thing about this product. It looks super cute, its so much fun and its reusable which is great. I never knew I would want a strawberry shower cap but now its my go to shower item. I feel like if you want to treat yourself to a pamper session at an affordable price and feel cute and have fun this is great but it seems unnecessary if you're wanting to improve the look and feel of your hair.

The idea of this Bear Fruits Flamingo Smooth Soft Hair Mask & Hair Cap is great. It’s cute, the flamingo is funny and it would be a perfect gift for pre-teens or someone who loves funny caps and hair care. All of this aside, the actual execution of this product is not great. The label claims the product will smooth, soften, and nourish hair. Unfortunately with the second ingredient being alcohol, this mask will not work especially for repeat customers as long term use will be detrimental to hair health. I would not recommend this to my friends, family, or even someone I don’t know. I hope the company reformulates and brings out a product worthy of the cute flamingo cap.

I love the packaging and the shower cap is absolutely adorable. The mask was easy to apply and use on my hair and it was enough for one application to coat my long, thick hair. I have quite dry and damaged ends and this mask made my hair felt smooth and hydrated with no frizz, and I can actually run my fingers through my hair without tangles. Best of all, my hair smells really nice like strawberries throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends and would also consider to buy this as gifts.

This was such a fun trial to be part of. I was a little unsure at first whether this product would leave my hair with the result I was after, but I was proved wrong! I received the Strawberry Mask, and it smelt divine. I have long hair and I applied the mask from mid length through to my ends. What I loved most about this product is that it took away the messiness of applying a hair mask if you need to leave it in for more than 10 minutes. In this case I had to leave the mask in for 20 - 30 minutes which meant I had to hop out of the shower for it to work it's magic. What I loved about the cap is that you pop it on while the mask works into your hair. The cap is a genius idea as it avoids the product running or getting over your clothes. The mask is a thick consistency which is what I often need to treat my hair. After washing the mask out, my hair was left with a beautiful strawberry scent which my partner commented on. My hair felt soft and healthy, and it had a nice shine to it. I would be keen to try the other scents from the range.

This is a super cute product and I love the packaging but I don’t feel like this is the greatest product in deeply nourishing the hair. I naturally have very curly, dry hair and after using this, my hair smelt AMAZING but it didn’t feel any different in comparison to just using a normal conditioner. I think that maybe for someone with straighter hair or not as dry hair, this might be a great product though. I am keeping that shower cap though, because it’s sooo cute and actually a good size. As someone who is also sensitive to fragrances, the scent is not overly powering which is nice but I would much rather if it didn’t have any fragrance, but that is simply my personal preference

Where do I start- I LOVE the flamingo cap!!! It was the biggest LOL I had this week when I opened the packaging. I didn’t really get what was inside which was so bulky (just thought the flamingo was a quirky brand name) so when I unravelled the roll up hair cap to uncover a flamingo- it was amazing. Also the flamingo is reusable and waterproof so is actually super good as a hair cap, I use it to keep my hair dry now on days that I don’t wash my hair (since it’s bleached blonde). Ok, apart from the absolutely hilarious flamingo cap with a legit flamingo sticking out (which everyone needs because it’s actually just the cutest thing ever), let’s talk about the hair mask. Smell test: 8/10 Smells like flowers and berries in a very girly scent, pretty pleasant. Your hair smells really nice after this mask that’s for sure! Application: 8/10 The concept is pretty easy- shampoo your hair, towel dry a bit and slap on the hair mask, then pop the cap on for 30 mins, rinse off and tada. Hair mask itself: 7/10 I found the texture to be like a hair conditioner! Left it on for 30 mins as instructed and washed it out. I think it did help my hair feel softer, but not silky! However, my hair texture is honestly this: Asian black hair bleached blonde- aka, needs a lot of TLC. I find that this would be a great nourishing hair mask for someone with healthy hair in need of light TLC (when they want something not too heavy for their hair). My hair is just very damaged and elastic from being bleached so it requires heavy hydration. Therefore I recommend this product to girls who ideally haven’t dyed their hair or have only done minimal work like box dye on their hair and need some tlc from dryness. It’s a lightweight mask which means you won’t feel like there are heavy residues left in your hair after! I washed it out and didn’t feel the need to condition, my hair stayed fluffy and clean for days which proves that this mask doesn’t leave residues which typically weigh down the hair and makes your hair Oiler faster.

This was great for a little pamper session. The shower cap was super cute and fun with a little flamingo bobble head. The product definitely smelled great and my hair felt good afterwards. The packaging contained a multitude of information, including instructional steps with cute diagrams. However, on the negative side, the sachet-style packaging made the mask product a little difficult to extract. Perhaps a tube would prove easier. Also, I am not sure that this product is necessary. For me, time and energy is limited and using a hair mask takes up a lot of it. So my indifference isn't specifically for this product, but more the idea of a hair mask in general. But as far as a hair mask goes, I think this product was pretty great. Especially if you are willing to set aside time.

This product is cute and kind of funny!! The mask felt nice on my hair and left it soft and smelling nice. I think my hair was smoother but only really for the day afterwards. I don't usually use hair masks so I wasn't sure what to expect but it wasn't bad. However, the packaging was so difficult to open and I think I lost a lot of the product trying to open it, or it got stuck in the packaging and I couldn't get it out with wet hands. Overall, a cheesy but well priced product that adds a little bit of fun to washing your hair.

I really enjoyed this product! The hair mask has an amazing scent and felt really creamy in my hair. My hair is curly, thick and can get extremely frizzy so After washing it out my hair felt amazing, but by the next day my hair didn’t seem any different to what my usual conditioner provides. But I feel like this would vary from different hair types and textures and would be more suited to straight/wavy thinner hair types. The products packaging was a bonus. It is super cute and bright, and also came with an adorably-corny flamingo cap. It would be a great gift for someone in their early teens!

This product was super cute and would definitely make for a great present or a girls night. Seems like a bit of a waste keeping it to yourself. I dont know the effectiveness of the cap but it definitely makes it a more fun experience even if it doesn't benefit the treatment I have quite dry and damaged hair so this was perfect! My hair was left feeling soft and healthy in and out of the shower. I found that the scent really stuck around which is a massive plus for me. I dont know how effective this mask would be long term and how it would compare to salon quality products but its definitely fun for a once off.

This hair mask has the coolest packaging, smells absolutely divine, and made my hair so soft and silky smooth. It would make the perfect little gift to include in a self-care hamper or for a cheap secret Santa present! The shower cap is super fun, even my boyfriend wanted to wear it in the shower!! I would definitely look at purchasing this again for myself. The only annoying thing was having to wash my hair, put in the mask, get out the shower for half an hour and then get back in to wash it out (I am all about convenience), but if you were having a pamper day at home, you could use that time to do a face mask, file your nails, pluck your brows etc!!

This hair mask and cap is super cute! I was very excited to try this as my hair tends to be a little on the drier side, and I love moisturising masks as a treatment. The mask is easy to use and smells nice, but for me it wasn't as effective as I was hoping it would be. My hair did look nice and feel soft after use, but there was no significant improvement compared to my regular hair products. I think this would be a nice gift idea for a teenager or secret santa etc, but I wouldn't repurchase for myself.

Prior to trying out any product on my hair, I read the ingredients list to ensure I know what I am putting on my body. I noticed this mask has lots of alcohol-based chemicals as well as silicones, which are known to be quite damaging to the hair and cause build-up, therefore, leading to dull, dry, unhealthy hair in the long run. For this reason, I was a tad skeptical about trying it out, yet I still went ahead in giving it a go for the review. Personally, I did not find the packaging very convenient. Trying to open the mask while in the shower took quite a while and was very difficult, though I got there in the end. The hair cap provided was absolutely adorable and would be a great gift for teens/tweens. It is also reusable, which is definitely a plus. I was surprised at the fact that there was enough product to coat my entire hair, especially since it is quite thick. The scent was quite faint, yet it was really nice, fresh, and lasted in my hair until the next wash. In terms of results, I definitely saw a difference. Despite the damaging ingredients, my hair felt smoother than usual and was less frizzy. Products with damaging ingredients like these are known to give good short-term results, but constant use could lead to really unhealthy hair. I would recommend not using the product more than once every few weeks, simply because of the silicones and alcohol, yet, I can most definitely confirm that it does work well for a quick hair pick-me-up, especially if your hair is dry and/or frizzy.

This is a pretty good product and it made my hair feel a bit softer and looked shinier right after application, but the effect more or less went away the next day. The packaging is a bit much but it is very cute so I would imagine it'd be good as a gift for someone. However it is more wasteful (and expensive!) than a normal tub of hair mask, so as a single-use product it's not something I would be interested in repurchasing for myself. It's still cute, smells great and works fine so perhaps would be a great little present for a teen.

Such a cute little pack for starters, was definitely impressed with this :) The hair cap is absolutely adorable, and the smell of the hair mask is divine, like sweet strawberries. After using the product, my hair felt softer and looked shinier and all frizz was gone. The cap allowed me to get a deep treatment as I let the mask sit in my hair. Not as long-lasting as I would have hoped, however it did the job and left my hair feeling refreshed. Overall, I would recommend this product, especially for younger kids and teens as the process involves simple instructions to follow :)

This product was pretty good. It did as expected, it made my hair feel silky, smells great and was super easy to use. I have bleach blonde hair and it helped smooth out my frizz and damage. Was it a miracle worker? no. But it did make my hair feel soft, lighter and generally more hydrated. I also have pretty oily hair and this didn't cause extra oiliness, so that was fantastic. However I was disappointed for the price point and quantity, it is a single application amount. So when you do purchase you only get one application of hair mask, but you do get a cute shower cap. The shower cap itself was pretty good, it was pink, cute and looked like a flamingo. Overall I would purchase this product again, given that it was on sale. I do think its a bit rich for a single application when you can purchase an ordinary hair mask that has 10 applications in a bottle. But it did do as it said, it made my hair feel healthy and hydrated.
