AN ABSOLUTE GEM OF A FACE CREAM
I was delighted to sample this exquisite gem of a cream.
It has a lovely velvet texture and virtually no scent.
Easily distributed and offers a feeling of hydration and moisture to my aged skin which needs more help these days.
It felt lighter in general on my skin than other products I have , especially when my face is flushed from blood pressure, allergies or the heat.
I don't particularly have sensitive skin in general but it would be fantastic for someone who does as it is calming and soothing.
I feel it is sufficient in the cooler weather but might put another moisturiser on top when it gets warmer.
Lovely product - super hydrating
This cream is that extra layer of decadence and hydration my skin didn't know it needed. It melted beautifully into my skin, providing deep moisture without feeling heavy or greasy.
I have sensitive skin that’s prone to redness, and this cream really helped to soothe and calm things down. I used it alongside the SOS spray, and the combo worked like a charm, leaving my skin feeling soft, nourished, and noticeably less irritated.
It’s become a staple in my routine, especially when my skin needs a little extra TLC. I will definitely continue using this one as felt it really did the trick. Highly recommend if you’re after something gentle but effective.
Calming
I tried Bioderma Sensibio AR + Cream as part of a BeautyCrew trial team and was pleased with the results. I suffer from sensitive, redness prone skin and was looking for a product that would ease my condition.
I used this product in conjunction with Bioderma Sensibio AR + SOS Spray and my skin has calmed, the redness has reduced and I have less acne - an added bonus! A scentless product, that actually melts into your skin and moisturises all day.
It doesn't dry up like some products and has a good consistency. I feel that this product will continue to help assist my concerns and will continue to use it. Inexpensive and readily available, this is a great product for those with skin concerns.
Redness recovery!
I have seen some solid results with the Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray when used in conjuction with the BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ Cream. With a few weeks in, it’s quickly becoming a staple in my routine.
My skin is naturally redness-prone, and it doesn't take much to trigger a reaction. So I was really hoping for something that could do more than just temporarily soothe and be something that would help prevent those flare-ups in the first place.
The texture is light, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly. I was worried it might feel heavy, but it’s actually really comfortable, even under makeup. After a few weeks of daily use, my skin looks noticeably calmer and more even. The intense redness I usually get around my nose and cheeks has definitely faded.
Overall, loved the results!
It was nice but not enough to change my routine
The Bioderma Sensibio AR+ Cream is lightweight, non-greasy, and absorbs well into the skin and sits well under makeup. I found it hydrating without any stinging or heaviness, which is great for sensitive skin. It helped calm inflammation and I liked the gentle, fragrance-free formula with calming ingredients. That said, while it did reduce some redness, it didn’t do quite enough to replace my regular redness routine. Overall, a solid option for sensitive or reactive skin, just not a strong enough performer for my daily routine.
Moisturising
I gave the BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ Cream an average rating.
I liked how lightweight the texture was — it absorbed easily and didn’t leave any greasy residue, which made it comfortable to wear day or night. Unfortunately, it didn’t improve the red, sensitive areas of my face, and I even noticed a few breakouts while using it, which wasn’t ideal.
While the light weight feel was a positive, I didn’t see much benefit in terms of reducing redness or strengthening my skin barrier, which was what I was hoping for from this cream.
Red no more
As part of the BeautyCrew trial team, I recently had the opportunity to test the Bioderma Sensibio Moisturiser, a product that’s specifically designed for sensitive, redness-prone skin. Having skin that can sometimes look flushed—particularly across my cheeks and forehead—I was curious to see how well this moisturiser would perform and whether it would live up to its claims of calming and reducing redness. After using it consistently, I have a well-rounded impression of how it works, its strengths, and a few areas where it could be improved. The moisturiser comes packaged in a twist-top tube, which I found really practical and hygienic. It dispenses the right amount of product without mess or waste, which is always a plus for me. Unlike jars where you need to dip your fingers in repeatedly, this packaging felt cleaner and more travel-friendly. It was slim enough to slip into my bag, which made it convenient for both at-home use and on-the-go touch-ups if needed. In terms of texture and application, the cream itself is a lightweight white formula that spreads easily across the skin. I was pleasantly surprised at how little product I actually needed for full coverage. A pea-sized amount was more than enough for my entire face, making it not only effective but also economical. This means one tube would last quite a while, which is always something I take into account when weighing up the value of skincare. When it came to the scent, I did notice a subtle chemical smell that lingered slightly after application. It wasn’t overpowering, but it was distinct enough for me to notice each time I used it. Personally, I wasn’t a big fan of this aspect. While I can understand that fragrance-free products sometimes carry a more clinical scent, I would have preferred either no detectable scent at all or something softer and more neutral. That being said, I didn’t find it unbearable, and it didn’t stop me from continuing to use the product—it was simply not my favourite feature. The real highlight, however, was in the results. With consistent use, I noticed that the redness on my cheeks and forehead began to diminish. My skin tone appeared more even and calm, and I wasn’t as self-conscious about those flushed areas. This is the main reason I would recommend the product—it delivers on its promise of reducing redness and soothing sensitive skin. For someone like me, who occasionally struggles with skin sensitivity and irritation, finding a product that actually helps to tone down that redness is incredibly valuable. I also appreciated that the formula felt hydrating without being heavy. My skin felt soft and moisturised but not greasy, and it absorbed quickly Overall, I think this is a great option for anyone who struggles with redness-prone or sensitive skin. It’s effective, economical, and gentle, with the added bonus of being easy to apply thanks to its packaging. The only downside for me personally was the faint chemical smell, which I didn’t find particularly pleasant. However, considering the positive results I saw in terms of reducing redness and calming my skin, that small drawback is easy to overlook. If you’re looking for a moisturiser that genuinely helps to soothe sensitive skin and reduce redness, I would definitely recommend giving the Bioderma Sensibio Moisturiser a try. While the scent might not be for everyone, the effectiveness of the product speaks for itself, and in my experience, it did exactly what it promised to do".
Lightweight and not aggrevating formula
I am deeply invested in products that help red, sensitive skin after being diagnosed with Rosacea 4 years ago by my dermatologist. My skin is mature and oily yet dehydrated. I have large pores that tend to get congested and experience redness daily. I wear sunscreen daily and makeup 5 days a week for work.
The Bioderma Sensibio AR+ Cream is a reformulated and repackaged version of the Bioderma Sensibio AR Cream which I've also used. According to Google, the new formula includes "ROSACTIV™ 2.0 patented technology that targets the root causes of redness more effectively" and offers "improved long-lasting relief from discomfort, further strengthens the skin barrier, and provides a calming and comforting texture that is fresh and non-greasy".
The packaging fits well in my hand and is in line with the sizing of similar products from competitors. My only gripe is that I prefer lids that snap close (so I don't drop/lose them) but the twist lid would be better to prevent accidental leakage.
I stopped my regular morning and night routine and used the Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micellar Water, Sensibio AR+ SOS Spray and Sensibio AR+ Cream for a fortnight.
The cream itself looks more gel-like than a cream and applies easily over skin for a light coverage which would be good for Summer. The gel-like cream also absorbs well and I didn't need to wait too long before applying my sunscreen. As with all moisturisers, always apply on damp skin for best results.
Unfortunately the routine didn't work out for me since I broke out around my nose and chin and my skin became congested. Since the cream is so lightweight, I did feel that I needed something richer and heavier as I trialled this towards the end of Winter. I've since moved back to double cleansing and using the Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Baume Barrier which is very thick and rich.
The Bioderma Sensibio AR+ Cream is good for is people with very senitive skin and want a low maintenance facial regime. It didn't sting on application and didn't make me more red.
I'd recommend you consider your skin requirements and goals before purchasing.
Hydrating, tightening, convenient
I really like the convenience of this cream! The tube is a perfect size for on the go, whilst still holding so much product and I find the nozzle to be great for control. Initially when I applied the cream, my skin stung but then cooled within 15 seconds, it was crazy. After consistently using this product It truly is so hydrating, dewy and relaxing for me. It also tightens my skin/pores which I quite like. It works great as a natural or makeup base and pairs well with the Sensibo Spray or SPF products. I can certainly recommend the BIODERMA SensiboAR+ Cream to anyone with sensitive skin.
Provides comfort and soothes
I was so excited when I was able to try the new BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ Cream, and it lived up to all my expectations. The new cream helps to provide relief to triggers that cause redness in the skin such as temperature and other daily triggers, which I experience regularly. The non-greasy cream immediately provides comfort and soothes my redness which I appreciate. It melts into my skin easily and leaves me feeling hydrated and nourished all day long. I love BIODERMA as a brand and really trust their formulations and ingredients, and this new AR+ range is a winner in my books.
Not for me
Tried this cream alongside the SOS spray and unfortunately it wasn’t for me. However did like the spray.
I was expecting it to be more lightweight but my skin is a fussy lady when it comes to creams! It wasn’t heavy but it just sat on my skin and felt tacky/sticky. Maybe I used too much but didn’t find it spread very easily either. Thats not to say that others won’t like it but I often have to opt for gel moisturizers over thicker creams.
I didn’t see any dramatic change to my redness sadly!
MUST HAVE!
I was so excited to be part of this trial to experience the BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ Cream. I have used a few of their products before, and they worked really well for my skin. Since I am often prone to redness, this one really excited me.
Only a small amount of product was needed to apply to my skin and spread really well. I added it to my post-shower routine, and it didn't dry out my skin or cause irritation. Only after a few uses, I could immediately see results and will continue to use this product in future. This has been a winter skin lifesaver!
Okay. Wanted more.
Easy application. No strong smell. I liked the size and could see myself using it whilst on any travels. It felt soothing on my skin and found it overall good for my sensitive skin, but my skin tends to be slightly dry skin and I felt it wasn't moisturising enough on its own. I also tried using it as a mask and i felt it was better suited for that purpose. I couldn’t see a real reduction in redness. And I used it daily. I did like the creamy texture of it and it did not feel greasy but somehow still left me having to add my daily moisturiser.
BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ Cream
my skin is quite sensitive and this cream works well on my skin because I have tried many kinds of creams and lotions m and I can say with all honesty that this is one of the first cream I have used that has actually reduced my redness effectively. I don't love the chemical sort of smell that comes from it, but once its absorbed in the skin you can't tell it was there. It's a small tube and easy to carry, but a little goes a long way. I have also noticed that it isn't super oily, and while not super matte, my skin does feel nice and dry rather than oily by the end of the day.
Nice light cream that helped my skin
Bioderma Sensibio AR + Cream felt quite light and nice on my skin and was easy to apply.
I had been travelling so my skin was suffering from sun and sweat which tends to bring out my redness. It helped calm my skin and return it to normal (along with reestablishing my normal at home routines.
I applied Bioderma Sensibio AR+ Cream underneath my regular serum and moisturiser and helped my skin feel smoother and feel less inflamed. My skin felt a bit smoother and a bit less ruddy.
While I think it would help many people and i enjoyed using it, i am not sure it would be something i retained in my skincare regime regularly.
Clam and Hydrated skin
I’ve been using the BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ Cream and it’s been amazing for my sensitive, red-prone skin. From the very first use, it felt super gentle and calming. It reduced my redness really quickly and made my skin feel so much more comfortable.
It’s not greasy and sticky at all, which is great. My skin absorbs the cream nicely, leaving my skin soft, smooth, and hydrated. It also works really well under makeup, so I’ve been using it as a primer too.
I also like that it’s fragrance-free and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. The packaging is a nice size too, making it really easy to throw in my bag and take with me.
If you struggle with redness or that burning/tingling feeling, this cream is definitely worth a try.
Lightweight
The BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ Cream has made a huge difference to my redness, calming down the white spots, roughness, and angry skin I developed from another trial product. It’s excellent at soothing irritation and restoring comfort, leaving my skin visibly calmer. That said, I don’t find it moisturising enough on its own—perfect as a lightweight AM moisturiser in summer, but not rich enough to carry me through the winter months.
Would purchase depending on price
Enjoy ot being a squeeze tube not a pot as well
Love!
BIODERMA Sensibio AR+ Cream is a quiet achiever in my routine—definitely a 5-star product for me. It’s lightweight, calming, and doesn’t mess with my makeup or leave any greasy film. I reach for it when my skin’s flaring or just feeling sensitive, and it always takes the edge off without any fuss. The redness fades gradually but reliably, especially when I’m stressed or the weather’s all over the place. I love that it’s fragrance-free and doesn’t trigger anything reactive. It feels clean, minimal, and intentional—visually and functionally. It’s not trying to be flashy, just effective and consistent. I’ll repurchase, and I’ll keep it in rotation.
A Must Have
Love Bioderma’s Sensibio AR+ Cream, it is a light cream with no fragrance and gets absorbed quickly into the skin. I did have to layer this up especially on days when my skin gets a flare up and becomes extremely dry as my skin needs extra hydration on those days, otherwise it’s quite hydrating and soothing. I did notice that it calms down my redness so I don’t need a green concealer to counter redness after using this. I love the tube packaging with a nozzle like dispenser so I can control how much product I dispense (whether to cover the entire face or just a small area).
Overall it’s a great moisturiser and a must have for redness prone and reactive skin.
Fragrance free cream to help reduce redness
I really liked this cream and noticed it reduced my redness.
The squeeze tube packaging is great as it allows you to control the amount used and keeps hygiene (I'm not a huge fan of tub moistures for this reason).
The formula felt hydrating and non greasy, it absorbs well into the skin. I like that it's fragrance free as my skin is easily sensitised.
I used it for several weeks and its safe to say it helped reduce redness and I like how it performed with my other skin care and under my makeup.
It felt good for everyday use. I am very happy with this product and will continue using it. Definitely recommend if you experience redness.
