Easy to use!
I love this product for a quick and easy grab and go application on my busy mornings. The fuss free bottle means I'm not messing around with screwing and dropping lids and making a hot mess when I'm half asleep, trying to get myself together in the mornings. With this product, I can just pump into my hands on straight onto my face, rub it in and I'm good to go! The formula feels soothing and hydrating my my dry morning skin and sets me up for the day with the included SPF. Sits fine underneath makeup as well. It does not pill or make skin overly greasy feeling.
Lightweight hydrating day cream
I quite liked using Simka day cream spf15, I have been a bit sceptical in the beginning as I’ve never heard of this brand but was excited to try it at the same time.
The texture is very lightweight and absorbs quickly which I enjoy having an oily/combination skin. It doesn’t make me feel greasy or oily. I would suggest using it during summer time due to light texture however I do prefer higher level of spf myself. I found this cream quite hydrating leaving my skin soft and dewy. Perfect on non make up days but also works great under make up which makes it quite versatile!
Didn’t notice any heavy smell which is great for people sensitive to scents.
In terms of price it’s on the pricier side than normal drugstores products but it seems to have a good ingredient list that suppose to help with sensitive skin. As it’s non comedogenic cream and have soothing ingredients I would highly recommend it to people with sensitive skin and youth skin.
It’s a great day cream containing spf15 which is super convenient however higher spf would be much better.
Decent everyday cream
SIMKA Day Cream SPF 15 feels really nice on the skin. It's light, not too oily or viscous and keeps it hydrated, but I didn’t notice any visible improvements to my skin or texture. The packaging is sleek, minimal, and refillable, which I understand and appreciate, but it’s not my favourite design. I prefer the packaging for my skincare products to be something simpler and where I can easily see how much product is left. While functional, it lacked the results I was hoping for, and I wouldn’t repurchase. It’s decent for everyday use but not transformative unfortunately.
Great Aussie made product
Simka’s Day Cream SPF feels like a nourishing, lightweight moisturiser that melts in quickly and leaves a soft, dewy finish. A little goes a long way and the refillable pump packaging is a nice bonus. It works beautifully as an everyday hydrating base, especially if you like a natural glow without heaviness.
The downside is the low SPF (15). Because it spreads so well, it is hard to use enough for proper sun protection -and realistically, it’s not adequate as your only sunscreen if you’re spending any significant time outdoors. So I use it on days I know I won't be leaving the office (eating lunch at my desk, again!)
Bottom line: a lovely daily moisturiser with bonus SPF, but pair it with a higher SPF sunscreen if you want real protection.
A good everyday sunscreen
I’ve been loving the Simka Day Cream SPF15 as a daily moisturiser. It’s super lightweight but still gives my skin that comfortable, nourished feel without being greasy. The barrier-supporting formula actually makes a difference. My skin feels calmer, more balanced, and less reactive throughout the day. I really like that it has SPF 15 built in, so it gives some sun protection without leaving a white cast or pilling.
The refill system is also super cute and environmentally thoughtful. Overall, a really solid everyday moisturiser if you want hydration, barrier support, and gentle sun protection in one step.
The only thing for improvement is that I wish the SPF were higher, so it provides better sun protection.
Rich day cream with SPF protection
The packaging of this day cream is really nice and different, and it also comes with a lot of product, which is a good point. The texture is rich and you can feel that it gives a lot of moisture to the skin.
For my skin type, however, it felt a little too oily. I also found it a bit hard to apply makeup after using it, as my skin stayed quite shiny. Because of that, it didn’t work very well for me as a daily day cream.
That said, I believe this could work much better for people with dry skin, as it is very hydrating and nourishing. For my normal skin, it was a bit too heavy, but I still think it can be a good option for the right skin type.
Good day cream
I always enjoy a day cream that incorporates some level of spf protection. This day cream was from a brand I had never heard before and I was pleasantly suprised at how lovely and lightweight it was. The packaging is fantastic and easy to use with very little mess. The cream itself is lightweight and not greasy - despite being quite an oily gal - this cream worked on me just fine. It did have a slightly white cast on me (I have an olive complexion) and did have to rub it in a little bit, but otherwise it was fine. It was also lovely under make up. I would recommend this to anyone - but would recommend not relying on it for your daily dose of spf.
Great little SPF Cream
I have to say the SIMKA Day Cream SPF 15 is a great little product, the packaging is really simple. There is no chance of spillage and you only use what you pump out.
While it is only a small SPF coverage, it is still impressive.
The price point is quite expensive for me for the sizing. Yet I have to say after use, this product is really worth this price point, especially when if you use such a small amount.
A small amount of this product really does go a long way, so I do believe that the sizing is generous.
Good paired with sunscreen
I have been using the SIMKA Day Cream SPF 15 and it has become a really reliable part of my morning routine. The cream feels rich when you first apply it but it sinks into the skin very smoothly. It leaves my face feeling hydrated, soft, and calm without any greasy finish. It works well under makeup and also looks nice on its own on a no makeup day.
What I like most is how nourishing it feels. The blend of soothing ingredients gives my skin a sense of comfort, especially on mornings when my skin feels a bit sensitive or tired. My skin looks more even and feels supported throughout the day rather than tight or dry.
The SPF 15 is fine for everyday use when I am mostly indoors but I do add a stronger sunscreen if I know I will be outside for a long time.
Overall, it is a gentle and dependable day cream that keeps my skin comfortable, smooth, and well cared for.
All-in-one Product: SUNSCREEN, MOISTURISER, PRIMER
First off, I have to say that SIMKA Day Cream SPF 15 has one of the most interesting containers I've ever seen. Content-wise, I believe it has worked for me since day 1. I usually don't like products that don't easily blend into my skin. This day cream is now the most loved primer in my make-up routine. I don't have to use separate products to protect my skin from the sun, to prime my face for make-up, and to moisturise my face. It's like an all-in-one product that I can bring anywhere. I am giving it 4 out of 5 as I'm hoping they make more products with higher SPF rating.
Great day cream for dry sensitive skin
I'm currently using prescription vitamin A, so my skin barrier is not great at the moment, so this barrier protecting day cream is perfect for me.
It comes in a lux modern looking pump bottle, and it pumps out the perfect amount to cover the face.
I also like it has peptides and SPF in it. I have sensitive dry skin and found Simka day cream was hydrating and soothing and did not irritate my skin.
For me the oil downside it I have a oily t zone and the day cream did my skin oily and shiny.
But overall it's a great day cream for dry sensitive skin
Sleek, lightweight and hydrating.
This SIMKA Day Cream with SPF of 15 is incredibly easy to use, and I love the unique swivel opening, it feels sleek, modern, and the refillable design is a huge bonus. However in this bottle packs a lot of incredible, powerful ingredients. This hydrating formula absorbs quickly with zero white cast and sits beautifully under makeup. It hydrates, soothes, and leaves my skin smooth and radiant without feeling heavy. This Nourishing cream strengthens skin barrier, formulated with ingredients like shea butter, pre biotic peptides and vitamin C it works to support every layer of your skin. I just wish the SPF rating were higher, because everything else is absolutely perfect. If it had more sun protection, it would easily be a 5-star product.
Surprisingly nice
I'd never heard of this brand before so I was keen to try it. Even happier that it contains sunscreen but SPF 15 is not really sufficient for us pale people here in Australia. However, I do work mostly in an office so I don't begrudge.
This is a really nice product to use, it smells alright and doesn't have that horrible sunscreen smell to it. The bottle/tube itself is great to use, with a simple twist to unlock and pump out as much or as little as you need - no mess! Once it settles on your skin, it's just like wearing a normal day cream and you don't even realise you have it on. It's thick when you first pump it out, but once you rub it in, she's great!
Light day cream
The SIMKA Day Cream SPF 15 had been a really nice cream to use. I’ve been applying it every morning and it is light and soaks in nicely. The pump bottle is handy and makes getting the right amount of product easy. The fact that it’s only SPF 15 is the only reason I haven’t given it a higher star rating. On days I know I’ll be in the sun, I’m having to apply a second SPF to ensure my face is fully protected. Otherwise, as an oily girl, it has been great. I would still recommend this day cream to others (ensuring they knew it wasn’t a high SPF) as it is good.
A decent everyday moisturizer with light SPF
The SIMKA Day Cream SPF 15 is a solid everyday moisturizer—nothing groundbreaking, but it does the job. The texture is light and absorbs quickly, which makes it good for busy mornings. It gives enough hydration for normal to slightly dry skin without feeling heavy or sticky.
The added SPF 15 is a nice touch for incidental sun exposure, though it’s not strong enough on its own for long outdoor days. The scent is mild and pleasant, and it layers well under makeup.
Overall, it’s an okay, reliable day cream if you just want something simple and fuss-free with a bit of sun protection. If you need deeper hydration or higher SPF, you might want to pair it with other products, but as a basic daily moisturizer, it works fine.
Great moisturiser with light sun protection
I really enjoyed using this day cream with SPF 15. I like that it was lightweight and easy to wear, and because it was only SPF 15 I would pair it with an SPF 50 sunscreen, which it goes under or on top of very easily. I found this product very hydrating and it made my skin really drink it up yet not feel greasy. I especially liked the probiotics in the product which I felt really balanced my skin's microbiome and I did notice a difference in that my skin looked and felt less damaged than it usually does. I liked that the product contained a lot of glycerin so it was very moisturising.
Nice face cream
I liked using the SIMKA Day Cream SPF 15 in my morning routine. It has a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly but still gives my skin a nice, hydrated feel throughout the day. It didn’t leave my feeling greasy and my skin felt quite hydrated after using this.
The added SPF 15 is a great addition but I wouldn’t rely on this as my SPF.
Overall, it’s a lovely day cream if you want something hydrating, barrier-supportive, and comfortable with the bonus of SPF. It keeps my skin looking fresh and healthy all day.
Would recommend
I really do like this product. It comes in great packaging to avoid any mess when applying the cream to your skin. The moisturiser is light, so it never makes my face feel heavy or oily. However, it does have a slight white cast, which does go away after you lather it really well into your skin; however, you may still be able to see that your face is a bit whiter than usual in some lighting. If you wear it under makeup, it is completely fine, as you won't be able to tell that there is a white cast. However, I wouldn't wear it without makeup. Although it is very convenient as you don't have to apply moisturiser and sunscreen because it is combined, which saves time and energy in the mornings. Would recommend.
Lightweight hydrating day cream
I enjoyed testing the SIMKA Day Cream SPF 15, I had never heard of this brand before so I was keen to try out their day cream. The formula is light to medium and isn't too thick which is important as the weather is getting hotter, I gravitate towards lightweight products. It has a slight fragrance not strong but it is pleasant and you can't smell it once it has settled into the skin. I used this each morning after cleansing my face, it leaves a dewy finish at first but it does settle in after about 30mins and is very hydrating for skin, which is important for me as my skin is often dry and sensitive. I will continue to incorporate this into my daily routine and I recommend this however would highlight that the price is on the more expensive side compared to drugstore day creams.
Lovely face cream + SPF 15
I have tried several products from Simka before and have enjoyed using their products. So naturally I was really excited to try out the Simka day cream. It is a moisturiser that contains SPF 15 for a bit of sun protection (although I do wish it had a higher level of SPF). The cream is non-comedogenic, has a nice consistency and feels great on the skin. I apply it on my face and neck in the morning and then follow it up with my SPF 50+. It doesn't feel too heavy or greasy on the skin but it does leave a nice sheen for a glowing, youthful look. Some of the ingredients in the day cream include shea butter, vitamin E, a prebiotic peptide complex which is meant to help with your skin barrier and cucumber seed oil to soothe and calm the skin. I do think it's a great day cream but SPF 50 would make it even better.
