I love this moisturiser as not only is it nourishing, but it also has SPF 15 which is so important in our current climate. I first came across this when I was living in the UK as my skin was so dry and irritated due to the cold climate over there. What a difference it made! My face no longer felt tight but calm and moisturised.
I love burts bees products and really liked this skin nourishment moisturiser. I love that it contains spf for daily sun protection and it provides good hydration. Its easy to use and comes in a handy glass jar that I can just apply the product with fingers. A little goes a long way so its good value for money. This is a thick cream so good for anyone with dry skin, my only gripe is that the white cream takes a little while to sink in, its not immediate. it does, however, leave my skin really soft and hydrated and knowing its all natural is a good thing for me as my skin is sensitive. Not tested on animals and Australian made is a bonus. it has a slight pleasant scent and doesnt add extra oil, perfect for me as I tend to have an oily tzone. I must admit I have daily moisturisers I prefer but this is a good value, hydrating cream that I would recommend.
Burt Bees products are ones that I use regularly because they are normally very gentle and nourishing on my skin. The Burt’s Bees Skin Nourishment Daily Moisturiser is no exception, it is a wonderful everyday moisturiser   A hydrating daily moisturiser is essential everyday for me. The Burt’s Bees daily moisturiser comes in a glass bottle with a pump applicator. The pump applicator makes this moisturiser super easy to apply.   The moisturiser has a very soft scent. The moisturiser has a normal texture, but feels very light and gentle on the skin as you apply it. There is no greasy residue, and it is no heavy at all on the skin. It just feels very soft and nourishing, like the Burt’s Bees packaging says. With this moisturiser, I recommend making sure it is rubbed in properly and then for it to dry before moving on the next step in your skincare routine. This is because it does have a little bit of a white cast, if it is not rubbed in properly to your skin.   Having used this moisturiser for a while, it does nourish my skin and leave it feeling soft and smooth. The moisturiser does have SPF15+ but since its only 15+ you will need to remember to apply another SPF for sun protection.   I would recommend this moisturiser to others looking for a light and gentle moisturiser.   Pros: - very hydrating - makes your skin so soft and smooth - not tested on animals     Cons: - only has SPF15+ - do need to make sure it’s applied properly before moving onto the next step in your skincare routine
I got this SPF moisturiser in a pack with the matching cleanser and eye cream, and sadly it's my least favourite of the 3, purely for the fact that it leaves a while cast on the skin, and in the mornings I don't have time to wait for it to sink in before I do my makeup. I also wouldn't use this on it's own and then go out in public as it really does leave my skin ghosty white. What I do like about it is that it's a lovely thickish lotion texture for my oiky skin, and it hydrates the dry patches around my eyes and between my brows. It doesn't leave the skin matte, but I don't mind a bit of glow. The scent is also nice, not as strong as the cleanser but not as subtle as the eye cream.  It also comes in a pump pack now which is more hygienic than a pot, and the pump dispenses the perfect amount for my face and neck.  This moisturiser has more pros than cons, but the white cast is what makes it a 3 start product for me, sadly.
First off, I loved the packaging of this day lotion. It is so simple, and I love that it has a pump - pumps will always win me over!! I also love that it has SPF in it as well, that was an immediate tick for me. I won't use moisturisers that don't have some level of SPF in it anymore. Now the moisturiser itself is really nice, a lightweight lotion that gives a quick burst of hydration, while helping to protect your skin from the sun. I did really like the lightweight formula, it wasn't heavy and was easy to work into the skin. However, it wouldn't be my go-to for colder months. It smells lovely, and melts into the skin really well. I used this after the night cream, so I might have just been so impressed that with that that I was expecting something more from this moisturiser, however I have found that it doesn't give as much hydration as the night cream, and has left me wanting a little bit more. If you have oily skin, this might be better suited for you - as it gives hydration, but not an excessive amount of hydration with an oily residue, so I think it would be perfect for oily/combination skin types. In saying that, I still really like it and will definitely save it for when the weather warms up a bit, I think it would be the perfect spring/summer moisturiser
This product comes in a nice, solid looking glass jar.  The formula is white in colour, in a thick and sticky cream consistency. The scent is not too strong which is nice. However, perhaps due to its SPF sunscreen protection, after applying, it leaves a pasty white layer on the skin. I really have to try to rub the cream in to be absorbed. It will take a good 5-10 minutes before the skin colour looks normal again.
