CHANEL Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner

I am a bit of a luxe product addict.If i can buy something reeeally beautiful for a little more than i would pay for something more "mass market",then,when i can,i do....so getting this baby from the most luxe name out there was a no brainer. Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner is a beautiful,retractable tipped pencil that wears like a dream (a good 8 hour day without too much fading) and truly is waterproof (thanks to the Silicone resin for that. I have gone swimming with this on,and it lasted both in the sea,and afterwards on land.I must admit that this didn't quite last a day of Whitsundays high summer humidity and heat,but let's face it...what product can ?),and,well,it just looks stunning. The formula is a creamy,easy to apply one that can be applied to the waterline as well as on upper lids and below the lashline on lower lids with no dragging or tugging,which is a must when something is being applied to the delicate eye area,and it keeps a fine tip...even after many uses.As i am a lover of blue liner,and have been for decades in one form or another,i got the No. 924, Fervent Blue...a gorgeous,bright sea blue that looks stunning (but isn't 80's flashback blue in any way) against my fair skin and blonde hair,but with about 27 shades to choose from,you are sure to find at least one you love.But what else stands this apart from the millions of other liners out there ? Well,apart from the range of truly unique shades on offer (did you know that the iconic nail enamel shade "rouge noir" is also available in the Chanel liner range ?) but the integrated pencil sharpener means you never have to search for a sharpener out and about again,and that logo on the casing just screams high end. Whilst few of us will ever be getting a legendary CC bag anytime soon,but at around $50,everyone CAN get their hands on a piece of fashion haute couture in the form of this product. TIP:If you are going to buy high end,look after it.This pencil,whilst gorgeous on a dressing table,will be happier (so will you) if you keep her in the fridge during summer (don't worry,it still applies like a dream even after being there,whereas if she is kept out,she will melt,or soften so much that you end up with a mess on you face if you attempt to apply it)

The plus - the colours are great, the product glides onto the eye and offers a great pigment. mins- it needs to be set with a eyeshadow or matching tone as it is quite easy to rub off. Also they break SO easily!! I have tried not putting the pencil as far out to see if it helps but the product itself is so fragile it makes no difference. Biggest waste of money ever as i barley got to use it as it constantly broke off.

I have tried many eyeliners from different brands and have not come across many that I like. However, This Chanel eyeliner is awesome. The colour is very pigmented and the texture is very creamy that just glides on my eyelids. However, this eyeliner does smudge after few hours for me.
