I always get excited when I read about face masks that promise lessening the amount of blackheads and congestion. When I heard about this mask, I decided to buy it. Although it is Dermalogica, in my opinion the price tag is very sensible and affordable. It is a fizz mask so those who are extremely ticklish should probably avoid it. The packaging is great, we get a plastic container with a pump that makes the product distribution easy. The mask has got a lotion/ cream like formula that after applying onto the face starts fizzing. The smell is ok, herbal, however, the sulfur that is one of the ingredient may linger on the skin for a long time afterwards. Clear Start mask might be a bit tricky to remove, that is why I use it beofre the shower, so I can put my face right in the way of water. The results did not amaze me, but I suppose it does clear the skin to some extent and prepare the pores for the blackhead extraction. It is definitely not drying, which might be a thing when using the clay mask. I suggest trying out this mask and seeing for yourself. You might love it, I only like it.
I have been using this product for quite some months and it has been keeping my skin clear. Of course it isn't a miracle cure but I have noticed a drop in the amount of blackheads I've had. This product works best in the shower and I use this product twice a week and see results (I wouldn't recommend as a daily treatment). Once applied the mask fizzes up which shows you it is working. Give it up to 5 minutes and then rinse it off. I have bought a second bottle so I would recommend if you have trouble with blackheads. Only downside is after using it for a while it started to get a strange smell from the sulphur ingredients. It still worked but just had a weird smell.
