This is my go-to weekly exfoliator and has been for about four years! I am not someone to repurchase a skincare product unless I absolutely love it and this passes the test. I have sensitive, normal to oily skin and I always feel refreshed after using this product. It is a harsher exfoliator but since it has little exfoliating particles rather than large particles which I prefer. One tube lasts me about six months which I can easily justify for the price!
A really great, gentle exfoliant. It comes in quite a thick paste, and I would recommend having a rather damp face before attempting to use it as it is quite hard to spread/massage into the skin when you have dry skin. However, once you are able to massage it into the skin, it has a really gentle exfoliation that will leave your skin feeling soft, clean and fresh. It is challenging to wash off I found, you need a fair bit of water and possible some cleanser, otherwise you will just keep finding more grains on your face. Other than that I love it!
I'm a bit conflicted about this product. It definitely does do an amazing job of exfoliation. It does warm up when you apply it. But for my skin, it felt perhaps a little bit TOO effective. It feels quite nice to apply, and even though I have slightly sensitive skin the warming effect didn't cause any issues. And it's not rough or harsh, it's quite grainy and chunky and you can feel it massaging away dead skin cells. But I didn't find the end result any better than when I use some of my more gentle exfoliators and I would prefer to use something that's a little kinder to my skin for those results.
This is definitely the best exfoliator that I have ever used and it's worth paying extra for in my opinion. It has small exfoliating beads and starts to warm up as you start rubbing it onto your skin, so you can really feel it opening up your pores to give you a deep clean while removing dead cells and build up. I have slightly sensitive skin and I have found that this product does not irritate my skin at all as the exfoliating beads are tiny and non abrasive and the scent is not overpowering either. I totally recommend this product for smoother more radiant skin!
A favourite product of mine for a long time. As the name suggests it is a thermal product that warms up when it mixes it water. It comes in a generous tube. The best thing about this Multivitamin Thermofoliant is that it has chemical exfoliators in it as well it has some scrubby particles in it which makes it a physical exfoliant too. The scent of this product is to die for , it smells herbal and I absolutely enjoy using it , it gives such an experience as if I am having a facial at a spa. Whenever I use it my skin feels baby smooth and following days after I fell that my skin brightens up. I use it as a quick pick me up before an event to give my face a smooth surface. This exfoliator does not dry my face as it has some skin loving oils in it which leaves your face moisturised and supple after using it. This is a really thick formula so a little goes a long way and becomes economical in the long run. I really feel that it helps to purge all the clogged pores and helps to keep congestion at bay.
One of my favourite physical exfoliants. This is the most effective exfoliant I've ever tried. It has chemical exfoliants, including AHA, BHA and even retinol in the formula - but it's the fine micro crystals which seem so effective. The consistency is like more like a thicker gel than a cream. Best if you apply it to dry skin and massage it in gently just before a shower, then continue massaging while you rinse off with water. If your skin is sensitive, apply to wet skin. It makes your skin feel super clean & gently scrubbed and incredibly smooth. When first massaged in, it becomes slightly warm - I'm not sure this is all that important but not a bad thing on a cold winter morning. I use it 1-3 times per week. It actually lasts quite a long time because you need very little to feel the effect and in my opinion is great value for money. I have drier skin and do need to moisturise well after using this, though I don't think say it made my skin drier overall. This is one of those staples in my bathroom cabinet because it's just so effective. Best tip: if you're not sure whether this might work for you, ask for a sample. Dermalogica are very generous with samples.
I received this face scrub in a gift bag at a David Jones event. I was intrigued by the name of the scrub - multivitamin thermafoliant. The name is apt because this scrub has a bunch of amazing ingredients like Vitamin A, aha and bha. But the most amazing thing is that this scrub warms up on contact when I apply this to my face. Ahhh love this especially it the winter months when its so cold and I don't want to be bothered with staying in my bathroom any longer than I have to.  I apply the thermafoliant scrub to damp skin and start gently scrubbing away dead skin cells. I scrub for about 45 seconds before letting the scrub sit on my skin for a few minutes to let the chemical exfoliants do its job before rinsing it all away. Wow my skin instantly feels soft and supple and the dullness is gone. All the dead skin cells are scrubbed off revealing fresh, new baby bottom soft skin and I love it.  This is a must have scrub in my skincare routine and I use it 2-3 times a week to give my skin a thorough exfoliation. I'm just addicted to how soft and supple this makes my skin.  Pro Scrubs away dull dead skin  Both physical and chemical exfoliants  Multivitamins - anti aging Con  Expensive
The Multivitamin Thermafoliant comes in a squishy silver tube with a grey flip-tab lid. The squishy tube makes it easy to dispense the product and keeps the product fresh till the last drop.  The thermafoliant is yellowish and thick in consistency with gritty micro granules. I just wet my face and apply a pea sized amount of the thermafoliant to my nose and mouth area (areas that are flaky and peely) and let the scrub soak in to my skin for a few seconds. I do this because the scrub contains a lot of really nice ingredients such as aha, bha, vit a and e. I want the chemical defoliants to get in and loosen the dead skin cells before I scrub. Upon contact with my wet skin, the scrub warms up which I think is because of the bicarbonate in the scrub.   I gently massage the scrub over my face for a gentle exfoliation and wash off with water. I have to splash the face a few times with water to thoroughly cleanse off the scrub. This scrub leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and smooth. This scrub sloughs off my dead skin cells with both chemical and physical exfoliants and gets my skin ready for serums and moisturiser. My skincare products penetrate my skin better with the dead skin cells out of the way so I love using this product a few times a week to keep my skin flake free and glowy.  This is a must have for anyone who has dry, flaky skin like me especially in the wintertime. It most likely works well for people who are acne prone and oily as well because of the addition of chemical exfoliants aha/bha in it. This is a great addition to my skincare routine and I'm really happy that it keeps flaky, peely skin at bay. I have raved about thermafoliant with my friends who have gone out and bought the product. This scrub is a winter staple for me and I love it.
I am loving the sensation of Dermalogica's newest AGE smart product. This little beauty exfoliates the skin and warms up against the skin when water is applied. It has left my skin feeling silky smooth and the scent is lovely - it smells like AGE smart's Antioxidant Hydramist. Multivitamin Thermafoliant contains physical and chemical exfoliants to help stimulate cell turnover and accelerate cell renewal rates. However, be weary of the strength of this product...it is a lot stronger than you think and left me skin feeling taught and appearing quite red, so I had to stop using it. I would like to justify the price but I am unsure if I would purchase again.
