Dr. LeWinn’s Reversaderm Cellular Regeneration Cream is a deeply conditioning cream that works to moisturise and condition skin while renourishing and correcting skin tone and imperfections. It is formulated with vitamin C and glycolic acid to help reduce the appearance of skin discolorations and pigmentation and resveratrol and oligopeptide-24 to encourage cell regeneration while minimising visibility of lines and wrinkles. The ‘second skin technology’ acts as a veil on the skin, mimicking the skin’s lipid structure and helping to restore the protective skin barrier and prevent water loss.

Fresh, soft and bright skin

Firstly I must comment on the jar of this product. It is a push down dispensing system. You push down the lid and it pumps out the product. very hygienic . One pump was enough for me for the whole face. The only thing is you can't see how much cream is left. Now I have skin that easily scars. A scratch, a pimple or a burn and I get black/brown marks as a result. So I count on products with Actives to help those scars and marks fade away. I have uneven skin tone and I love using chemical exfoliants to even out my skintone. I love the inclusion of glycolic acid and vitamin c in this cream. Both these ingredients work brilliantly on my skin to even out my skin and brighten my skin. The cream did not irritate my skin. Slight tingle that went away within a minute. It was hydrating and not oily or greasy at all. The scent is quite strong though but I could tolerate it. Love how my skin looks so fresh and rejuvenated. My skin texture also improved and love how soft and silky my skin feels. The first few weeks I did notice my skin peeling around my nose , the dead skin cells sloughing off but it was not bad peeling. easily managed by buffing away with a face cloth. After week two my skin normalised and love how bright it looked. My skintone gets dull easily so I love to use this cream to freshen up my skin and remove the dullness.

Great moisturiser

The first Dr Lewinn's product I have ever used and I love it!! I love the packaging of this product! it's so easy a press top that squeezes out enough product for the whole face and neck in one pump. No need to dip your fingers in or a spatula. I have oily sensitive skin and The moisturiser itself is hydrating and doesn’t leave an oily feeling after using it.I didn’t find the smell strong at all (I am sensitive to smells). It has some great Active ingredients also I will continue to use and re-purchase

Why does it smell like Nivea???

Good heavens this was a disappointment for me, as soon as you open the lid all you could smell was a grandmother's old tub of Nivea. It is extremely overpowering that I could not get past using it for the first week. This is my first Dr Lewinn's product, and I was unfazed.. I have no idea why the price is so steep, it's just a really thick heavy scented cream. Unfortunately I cannot give any feedback on if it did anything for cellular regeneration for my face. I have passed it on to my mother who has absolutely no qualms with it and is enjoying using it every day. She has mentioned that her skin feels nice and soft and a little bit more plumper in the morning.

A cream full of benefits

For my combination skin this moisturiser was a pleasant surprise. My skin was hydrated but it didn't feel heavy, which was surprising because I was sure the Shea butter would be too much. My favourite part about this cream is that you can actually feel it seeping into your skin. It doesn’t just sit on your skin like some products. This one is actually working and goes into your skin and does its job. The smell is good. Very happy with the results. It took some time but after a week or two of consistent use, I’ve seen a brighter, more even tone on my face. I love that this facial cream comes in an air-tight pump, making it so much more hygienic.

Great for many skin issues

As a 90s baby I am getting to the point where I am seeking a good anti aging cream that also doesn't break me out or cause flakey skin. I've been trying out this regenerative cream for a while now and have quite enjoyed using it day and night. A decent amount of product in the container which has a push down to dispense feature allowing the product to easily be collected without having to dig into the container. It sinks into the skin well and leaves my face feeling soft and well moisturised. A little on the heavier side but absorbs quickly regardless. Vitamin C and glycolic acid have helped with my pigmentation issues and dull skin. As with many anti aging products the Ingredients included claim to target wrinkles, signs of aging and help firm up skin but I feel these results may need prolonged use to see real change or benefit. I'm excited to keep using the product and will recommend to those seeking out regeneration creams too!

beautiful

This was a beautiful cream to incorporate into my skincare routine. I really liked the dispenser that the product comes in, it felt great quality and the perfect amount of cream was dispensed when you pushed it down. The cream itself felt lovely to apply, it was soothing, soft and hydrating. It has a lovely scent, I couldn't place what it smelt like but it was lovely and I enjoyed using it. Over the time I used it I feel like my skin was looking fresher, brighter and smoother. I feel like some of my fine lines have reduced and overall have found it great to incorporate into my skincare routine.

Love the Reversaderm Range

This cream is so much more than a moisturiser. It worked beautifully with my serum to improve my skin tone. I also use the peel in this range. This cream has a push dispenser, where pushing down delivers the right amount of cream, resulting in no wastage. This cream is thick but spreads easily and absorbs well without pilling. It also does not pill with my sunscreen. I've been using this cream for the last month and my skin feels smoother and my skin tone appears more even. Overall, I highly recommend and will be repurchasing.

Correcting

Thank you beautycrew for giving me the opportunity to try this great day/night cream. First time trying Dr Lewinns skincare products and I’m glad I got to try this. The first thing that caught my attention was the reversaderm on the tub and the promise of correcting. I have acne scarring and pretty much all breakouts leave behind a mark on my skin. I loved the way you push down to dispense the perfect amount of product. I like that it’s not your typical jar which you dunk your finger into to get to the product, very hygienic. The consistency is nice and light but nourishing. I used this mainly at night because it doesn’t contain spf and I didn’t want to overload my skin. I have noticed my skin looks more radiant and even since using this. It is scented so keep that in mind if you’re looking to try this.

Beautiful Day & Night Cream

I was given the opportunity to trial this cream as part of a recent Beauty Crew VIP Box. I have been using it day & night for 4 weeks now & I have experience a noticeable improvement in the appearance of my skin. My skin looks firmer & more youthful, it has helped to even my skin tone & softened the look of some old scars. It is a white, light weight cream with a florally soapy scent. It comes in a sealed 30ml container with a chamber cap that dispenses the perfect amount of cream to cover my face & neck when depressed evenly. It absorbs quickly & layers well will my other skin care products & make up. I didn't experience any adverse reactions & even suffered less breakouts since using this cream.

Skin tone improving with this moisturiser

Thankyou to BeautyCrew for gifting me a VIP box. Inside the box was the Dr LeWinn's Reversaderm Cellular Regeneration Cream for Day and Night which comes packaged in a box. The 30ml jar is acrylic with a silver purple hombre look. The silver lid pulls off to reveal an airless pump dispenser. To use, you simply gently depress the top and the cream comes out of the hole in the centre. Be careful, because if you press it too quickly the cream will fly out. I love these types of jars for hygiene reasons. But it does make it difficult to know when there isn't much product left. You can twist off the dispenser, unlike a lot of vacuum airless pump dispensers, to swipe up the dregs. I've recently discovered that some of these dispensers are refillable. Once you've twisted off the dispenser, you just push down gently on the raised platform until it reaches the bottom and then fill it with your desired lotion (after cleaning of course). Be sure to refill gently as airbubbles in the tub can cause disruption to the supply. The cream itself is white and has a strong smell to it which I liken to Windex, but the smell doesn't bother me. It has vitamin C (second on the ingredient list), vitamin E, Glycolic Acid and Sodium Hyaluronate just to name a few good ingredients. Unfortunately, it does contain a lot of other not-so-good ingredients like parfum, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate which are usually used for their fragrance but can be irritating for sensitive skin. I've been using this cream in the morning, before applying my makeup and at night after cleansing. It has worked well with my skin and makeup routine and I've had no irritation and been left with skin that felt hydrated. I did have an initial pimple outbreak when I first started using this cream but that has since stopped, so either it was a coincidence or a purge. I've been using it for a month and have almost finished the jar, which is about right for me. I think I need to use it for longer but I can see superficial scarring starting to fade. My late forty skin does not have a lot of wrinkles, except around my eyes, so I cant comment on whether it has helped with those. I can recommend this product and could see myself purchasing this in the future. This product is made in Australia.

Fairly hydrating, chemical scent is off-putting

This is the first Dr Lewinn's product I have used now Beauty Crew has kindly sent it to me to try as part of Review Crew. Firstly, let me begin with the positive impression - I love the packaging of this product! The purple/silver colour scheme is chic and luxe-looking, but it's the so convenient press top that squeezes out exactly enough product that really does it for me. No need to dip your finger in, or try to find the spatula, or fumble around with screw top lids. Very easy and hygienic to use and its own cover clicks into place to protect the product. Now to the product itself. The Reversaderm Cellular Regeneration Cream is supposed to nourish the skin and improve skin tone as well as reducing wrinkles and pigmentation. I was a little concerned that glycolic acid, which assists with resurfacing damaged skin, was a main ingredient, as my skin can react to this acid. However, the cream also contains Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Grapeseed Oil and Shea butter - all good skin-loving ingredients that improve skin tone and elasticity and brighten the complexion. So, I was definitely keen to try it. Reversaderm is also designed to help uneven, sun-damaged skin and to help both acne-scarred skin and skin with signs of ageing. So quite a wide target for this cream. I don't have an uneven skin tone, but I do have sun damage on my nose as well as a small area of pigmentation, so I tried to apply especially to those areas. I found Reversaderm to be quite a thick cream, easy to apply and to absorb and only mildly irritating the most sensitive area around my lips. The sun-damaged area on my nose did have a slightly more "matte" appearance after use, but I didn't notice any difference to the small area of pigmentation. Yes, it did provide some conditioning and hydration for my skin but not enough to match the other moisturisers I use. I found I had to use another moisturiser in the driest areas around my nose, to avoid that "taut" feeling. Unfortunately, another big turn-off for me was the strong chemical smell of Reversaderm, so strong that it actually lingered once on. To be honest, it reminded me of depilatory cream - never the most pleasant scent! So a product I can use but would not repurchase. Overall, this is not a bad product and would probably suit someone who doesn't have especially dry areas on their skin. I do think the scent would be off-putting for some, so I couldn't recommend to anyone sensitive to chemical smells.
