Dr Roebuck's The Goldie Vitamin C Glow Drops

I found the Dr Roebuck's Goldie Vitamin C Glow Drops to be an incredible product. I was very sceptical at first, especially because I can tend to have quite oily skin so I was a bit worried about how this product would look on my skin, but it was a pleasant surprise when it did not make me look more oily. I love the luminosity this product provides my skin with and without makeup. This product is well packaged, and the bottle itself is simple yet it captures attention. I will definitely be adding this product to my makeup routine. It has become a new way for me to add luminosity and highlight to my skin. I highly recommend this product!

I so wanted to LOVE this product but unfortunately it's just not for me. The packaging is beautiful and feels luxe, and the product looks great in the bottle but I just found it a bit too oily for my combination and even sometimes dry skin. It does give you a nice glow but I think it sits too much on top of the skin so I would be scared to follow it with a full face of makeup because I'm not sure how it would sit. I've actually been using it on the rest of my body, particularly my decolletage as it gives a nice glow there without the risk of looking too oily so it definitely won't go to waste!

The Dr Roebuck's The Goldie Vitamin C Glow Drops are SO pretty!!! When you first squeeze the serum out of the bottle and hold it to the light it has shimmer reflects in it, that allow the skin to glow. luminosity is definitely the word for this product I'm normally quite fuzzy about Vitamin C serums as they can either smell weird or be different consistencies, so it's been hard to get into using one, however, this product acts as multiple different things like a dewy no-makeup look or as a highlighter.

The most gorgeous, illuminating but subtle product I have had the pleasure of using. I fell in love with these glow drops. They leave such a lovely glowing last all day. The product glides over the skin, isn't sticky or tacky and doesn't have a smell. It looks like a bronzer in the bottle but I didn't feel that it made a difference to skin colour which suits me perfectly. I also tried it on my arms and legs and it gave me a beautiful glow without being sparkly. Definitely worth a try for anyone who loves glowing skin but doesn't want a shiny, bronze look.

I recently received this product and to be honest wasn't too sure on how exactly to use this product or what its specific goal is. The description on the packaging does offer some information however not enough to feel educated about the product or its use. In saying that there is nothing wrong with this product however I personally wouldn't' use it as a Vitamin C boost. I found it gave my appearance a nice glow overall and I found I was incorporating it more into giving my body a nice subtle sheen or glow before going out for an event more like an illuminator.

I have had quite a few events on lately and thought this would be the perfect time to use these glow drops. Dr Roebucks The Goldie Vit C Glow Drops come in a 30mL sized glass bottle with white lid which I love the sustainability with the glass and recycling options. After cleansing my skin and before applying my moisturiser when wearing makeup I dispense 1-2 pumps of the glow drops to my fingertips it smells lovely and citrus, I gently massage it into my skin like I would with a face cream. This leaves the most beautiful luminous glow to my skin, I then apply my moisturiser followed by my foundation if using otherwise a spf. I love the luminosity this provides my skin with or without makeup but I especially love it underneath foundation as it just gives my skin the most perfect glowy/dewy luminous look. This is definitely my favourite way of adding luminosity and highlight to my skin especially under makeup I have been and will continue recommending it to everyone.

I was sent Dr Roebuck's The Goldie Vitamin C Glow Drops in the Beauty Crew April VIP Box. This is a bronze, shimmery product which comes in a clear glass 30ml bottle with white lid and pump dispenser, packaged in a box. What is it? According to Dr Roebuck's website it is a serum-oil hybrid. It is abundant in fatty acids and Vitamins A,B,C,D and E using ingredients like Camelia Seed Oil, Broccoli Seed Oil, Chia Seed Oil, Kakadu Plum Seed Oil and the list of beneficial ingredients goes on and on. I have normal to oily combination skin, prone to pimples when my skin doesn't like something I've put on it. I'm not a fan of oils but this product I like, No, I love. It is not runny like an oil, in fact a dab on my finger held upside down and it doesn't budge. It has a light orange smelling fragrance. I use about one and a half pumps for my face. I have not found that it rubs off onto my pillowcase but that could be because I seal it in with moisturiser or my darker coloured pillowcases! I've been using it morning and night, after cleansing but before moisturiser. I have not been using it as a cosmetic, because to be honest, I don't think it shows up at all as a highlighter or makes a heck of a difference when mixed in with my foundation but as a skincare product, it rings my bell. My skin is incredibly smooth and soft, and no breakouts. The only thing I don't love about this product is its price. I'm more of a budget skincare kinda gal but this might have to be one of my splurges in the future. It's made in Australia, Cruelty Free and Vegan.

This is essentially an oil blend with the addition of some shimmery iron oxides. It comes in a pump and the contents are bronze coloured. It can be used before moisturiser or on it's own, or mixed in with foundation, or as a highlighter. The FAQ on the website mentions that this will stain your pillowcases so it really limits it to daytime use. This is a problem for me as I have combination skin and find this too oily to use during the day. I don't really go for the dewy look since it accentuates my large pores, and it is too oily to stay in place as a highlighter, compared to a powder or cream highlighter. The oil applies smoothly and leaves a slight shimmery sheen without being too tinted, and has a pleasant natural orange fragrance. It's not too heavy for a facial oil and is pleasant, texture-wise. As for it being marketed as a Vit C serum - I wouldn't count on it to get your Vit C boost. The amount of actual Vit C is probably quite low, given that terminalia ferdinandiana (kakadu) seed Oil is somewhere in the middle of the ingredients list. There is around 3-7g of Vitamin C per 100g of fruit, which is 3-7%. Recommended usage of kakadu plum oil in formulas is 2-5%. So that means you'd be getting less than 0.5% Vit C. But marketing aside, there are some lovely plant oils in the formula including brocolli seed, pongamia glabra seed, macadamia, chia, safflower etc, which would all have benefits for skin health. Overall not for me, but I would've enjoyed it as a face oil if I could use it at night without staining my pillow cases. It may suit those with dry skin better.

Love this product. It looks really Lux and with the pump it’s easy to just get only what you need. I’ve been using this Dr Roebuck's The Goldie Vitamin C Glow Drops on a daily basis. I use it under my foundation to add a natural glow to my foundation and it works a treat. I also use it as a serum during the day when I’m not wearing my make up. It really gives me a beautiful healthy and add a gorgeous glow to my dull skin. I also use it when I’m wearing a light make up, as a highlighter. I love love that this is a multipurpose product.

I absolutely adore this Dr. Roebuck's 'The Goldie' Vitamin C Glow drops. Firstly, the bottle is so luxurious and beautiful and I love that it dispenses the product using a pump. I use it a few different ways. I like to use it after I apply my moisturiser in the mornings and under my foundation to give my face and complexion a nice subtle glow-its so pretty! I also like to apply the glow drops along my shoulders and décolletage and this gives my skin a nice golden glow. And finally, at the end of the day after remove my make up and wash my face, I like to apply the glow drops on my face as it's a serum oil and it gives my face moisturisation as well as a nice golden glow. Its very smooth and easy to apply, it smells slightly of oranges and I definitely would recommend trying this one out! Five stars.

I was lucky enough to trial this product for the beauty crew review panel and I really enjoyed this serum. It’s quite unusual, it comes out golden and as I rub the gold serum in it disappears leaving a gorgeous luminous glow. It smells gorgeous, like oranges, which would be appropriate considering it contains vitamin c. It’s super hydrating, containing several oils and Kakadu plum, it plumps my skin and firms it as well, I can see and feel the difference. I have used this alone for a no make look and just a nice glow, as a highlighter and also in conjunction with my usual moisturiser for skin that glows and is highly moisturises. Its really easy to use, the pump bottle dispenses enough to cover my face, I sometimes use two pumps though. It’s a fabulous product worth every cent and I will buy this again
