Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster

Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster is a product applied before a serum or moisturiser to prep the skin. This semi-transparent, silky, lightweight cream soaks into my skin quite quickly and I only need a small amount to cover my face. The formula works to restore and support the natural skin barrier. I find this cream to be very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth with a radiant glow. I wasn’t convinced I needed to use a skin booster but after using this cream I can see that my other skincare products layer much easier over my skin. I’ve also used just the skin booster under a BB cream which gave a lovely satin finish. So, whereas this might sometimes be an added step in my skincare routine, it is worth it.

The Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin "Booster" is designed to be used as a pre-serum to prime and prepare the skin for maximum absorption of other skincare products. You may say that the function seems to be redundant. But this booster really does make skin feel super smooth, super silky, and the serum I apply afterwards spreads easier and further. The serum has a silky, lightweight texture (thanks to the amount of silicones used in this product!), which can absolutely double up as a makeup primer. Superstart Skin Booster contains ceramides 1, 3, 6, cholesterol, lactobacillus lysate, alpha-glucan, phospholipids, plant extracts. It's a winning combo. Great one to add to the skincare routine even just as a stand-alone serum.
