Erase the day with ease with Garnier
I tried the Garnier Erase It all makeup cleansing balm with vitamin C as part of my daily routine of cleansing my face.
Cons - thick in texture and didn't go on smoothly on face had to apply several times for coverage.
Pros - size of jar good size that will last a while and liked the fresh smell of vitamin c and took makeup off well. It is bright and fresh with packaging and a brand well known.
Not sure I would purchase this product in the future but definitely would recommend to others who may like this product
Erased it all with ease!
Usually when I cleanse away my makeup after a long day, it reveals a less than bright and glowing complexion. My skin often reflects how I feel. Tired! So I was keen to try this cleansing balm as it contains skin loving Vitamin C and its brightening formula. The texture is smooth and easy to work onto your skin and seemed to break up the layers of skincare and makeup on my face with ease including many, many layers of mascara! It didn't sting or irritate my eyes and it washed everything away easily with warm water. I found this product very satisfying and fun to use and it worked amazingly well. I was quite impressed, and my skin appeared less dead afterwards - a nice bonus! Loved the hydration it also gave my skin, making it appear plump, healthy and glowy.
Removes makeup well and leaves skin soft
I recently tried the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C, and overall I think it’s a solid option for daily use. It is marketed as a cleansing balm that erases all types of makeup, cleanses and brightens, and in my experience it does a good job at removing foundation, mascara, and sunscreen without needing too much effort. The texture feels smooth and easy to work with, and it rinses off cleanly without leaving behind a heavy residue.
One of the key points is that the formula is powered by vitamin C, which is designed to help the skin look brighter over time. While I can’t say I noticed dramatic brightening right away, my skin did feel refreshed and looked clearer after consistent use. I also appreciated that it left my skin feeling hydrated for hours afterward, with a non-greasy finish.
Another positive is the formulation: it is free from fragrance, sulfates, silicones and is non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog pores. Overall, it’s a practical makeup remover and cleanser that balances cleansing power with a gentle, hydrating feel.
Nice cleansing balm but unpleasant scent
I trialled the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C.
I really liked the texture of this balm and it felt lovely on my skin and just melted.
I found it effective in removing my makeup. I work in an industry where I'm exposed to dust and diesel soot and find that it perfectly removes the days grime. I keep it in the shower and use not only on my face but on my arms.
The two downsides for me are scooping it out with my long nails (I know! A me problem) and the scent. The scent I don't like it at all. I agree with another reviewer who suggested a light citrus scent. When first using I actually thought maybe I got a bad batch because the smell was almost akin to old oil based products that are way past their best before date.
However I would recommend this for an effective cleanser for those that can overlook the smell of it.
Pleasantly surprised
I was pleasantly surprised by the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C. I used the cleansing balm in the shower to remove my makeup from the day. Applying a small scoop to my face I was able to easily remove my makeup leaving my skin feeling smooth and silky. The scent of the Balm is a subtle lemon smell and not at all over powering. And I have sensitive skin and I didn't experience any dryness or agitation. Great product at a good price. Will definitely be recommending this product to friends and family.
Love this !
I recently tried the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm and I’ve been really happy with how well it works. I love makeup, but I also know how important it is to remove it properly at the end of the day, and this cleansing balm makes the whole process so quick and easy.
The texture is soft and smooth, and as soon as I scoop a little out and massage it into my skin,
it melts down into a silky oil. It feels really gentle and nourishing, and it glides across my face without needing to rub harshly. What impressed me most is how effectively it breaks down even stubborn makeup.
My foundation, mascara, and long-lasting lipstick all come off effortlessly. There’s no stinging around the eyes and no tight feeling afterwards, which is something I’ve experienced with other removers.
After rinsing with water, my skin feels clean but also soft and hydrated, not stripped or dry. It’s such a nice change from makeup wipes, which often left my skin feeling irritated.
I also like that it’s suitable for daily use, so I don’t have to worry about it being too harsh.
Not for me in any way
I would not and could not use Garnier Erase it all Makeup Cleansing Balm.
This type of product is something i would ever use and struggled to even try it. I have used a liquid cleanser for most of my life and the look, the colour and texture of this is not for me.
I have tried and liked other Garnier products but this is not one of them. Even the colour and texture were incredibly off-putting.
It it is definitely not about the brand as i use a very inexpensive gentle cleanser and micellar water when needed, so I would have been open to use it and like but it just couldn't given the things i have mentioned above.
Love this cleansing balm
First of all, thank you to BeautyCrew and Garnier for the opportunity to trial this product.
I was really excited to trial the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C, and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve never tried a cleansing balm like this before, so
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The packaging is bright and eye-catching; a beautiful light and bright yellow tub. As for the balm, the consistency is lightweight yet feels very rich and melts into the skin like butter, making it super easy to apply and spread. I used light circular movements and found that was sufficient to clean my skin effectively. It was very easy to remove and left my skin feeling cleansed, smooth, and hydrated. Like the other products in this range, it didn’t leave behind any residue or stickiness, and a little does go a long way. I have really enjoyed using this product and have been very impressed with the results. I feel like my skin looks a lot more youthful and has a lovely, healthy glow and is more even-toned.
Overall, I was very pleased with the results of the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C. I will definitely continue to use it and will purchase it in the future.
Extra effort not always required
As someone with sensitive skin, I tend to keep things simple, and working from home means that I rarely have an opportunity to wear makeup, so there’s not much cleansing needed at the end of the day. The Erase It All Cleansing Balm was too much for me. Apart from the unpleasant smell, the oily residue after use was also unappealing. A double cleanse is definitely required after using it, and fortunately the foaming cleanser helped. Appreciated the opportunity to try, but would not be considering purchasing in future.
Good Cleanser but Not Perfect
I’ve been trying the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C and have noticed a real difference in my skin, especially with pigmentation looking more even over time. A tiny amount goes a long way, which makes the product last, and it does remove makeup effectively. That said, I don’t really enjoy the smell, and I find the texture to be quite greasy on my skin. It also doesn’t foam up the way it claims to, which was a little disappointing. Overall, it works well as a makeup remover and has some skin benefits, but it’s not my favorite cleanser because of the scent and feel.
Buttery! But not oily! I love it!
The Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C has a buttery feel on my skin, which makes removing my makeup easy, my skin texture feels fresh, soft, and hydrated afterward, not dried out tight, which happens with other cleansers that I have used in the past. I also love the look it leaves my skin, a radiant look and makes my skin feel alive and younger and even look younger! It must be the Vitamin C!
I do recommend this product, a little goes along way! Give it a go! and feel the nourishing difference! I love it!
Lovely balm
What a brillant cleansing balm. The balm.is easy to apply and.I usually apply it at night washing down with a wash cloth.I received this as a sample to purchase and will purchase this again.I love the lightweight container easy to travel with.
Texture is creamy with a pleasant smell removing alll of my makeup including the mascara and concealer.
Product is affordable and melts into my skin so no need to rub it off as it removes makeup and quickly. The balm leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh but without irritating it or leaving it red.and angry.
Soothing balm
Wow ! This is a real ballm and seems soothing. The Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C is thick but not too thick. I found it made for good make up removal for foundation and lipstick. However, I did need something else to remove the eye make up. It is a product in its own right, however it is a much cheaper alternative to the Clinque Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. It was a nice part of the Garnier Trio that I trialled. Also, good for my 12 year old daughter who needs a cleasnser to remove the build up on sunscreen. At this price, I will purchase the Garnier again.
Make-up remover that moisturises
I was nervous about using the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C as I have used make-up removers in the past from other brands that had really dried out my skin although they claimed they were hydrating. So I tried this product and found that it does exactly what it says, it removes makeup while hydrating.
I've now made the switch to using this as part of my daily routine. It's been really good at getting my daily makeup off, however, due to the focus on moisturising, I've found it doesn't remove the heavy-duty stuff as well as some of the other products on the market.
Only real complaint is the smell is a little chemical and could be improved.
So Impressive!
I’m really impressed with the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm! It removes all traces of makeup with ease — even waterproof mascara — without tugging or irritating my skin. The balm melts beautifully into the skin and rinses off cleanly, leaving no greasy residue. After each use, my skin feels incredibly soft, smooth, and velvety. It’s perfect for my sensitive skin and doesn’t leave it feeling dry or tight. The scent is light, fresh, and calming — not too strong, but enough to make the experience feel like a treat. A little goes a long way, so the tub lasts ages, making it great value for money. If you're looking for a gentle but effective cleansing balm that feels luxurious and leaves your skin feeling amazing, I highly recommend this one!
Simple go-to
It’s a great product leaving your skin feel refreshed but might have to use separate eye and lip remover for waterproof eye makeup like mascara.
Moisturising and brightening vit c serum but the consistency is slightly thicker than expected! Compared to a lot of other light and quick absorbing vit c essences and toners, it’s not the best but compared to the price point and access availability, it’s not bad.
The other thing about balm is that its clean and leak free for travel unlike oil!
It goes well with the remaining Garnier vit c line but would recommend using the micellar water before the balm then waiting for skin to dry before using the balm, to double cleanse/ make sure all products have been wiped off.
Great cleanser
This balm is the best balm i have ever tried, it is refreshing, soft on the skin does not leave too much residue on the skin and it feels so clean after cleansing. It has a beautiful perfume and does not leave my skin itchy as i do have very sensitive skin which makes this the perfect cleanser. I will keep using this cleanser once this has been used. Definitely recommended. My friends have also noticed an improvement in skin. The vitamin C also benefits me as i do need to take supplements daily.
Absolutely worthwhile!
I trialled the Garnier Vitamin C Range including the Cleansing Balm. The product did exactly what it says it does, and removed all types of longwear makeup (which I use a lot of) without any nasty residue. I am not usually a fan of cleansing balms, often finding them very heavy and prone to leaving residue no matter how often you try to remove them. This was NOT the case with this balm which I was really surprised by. It is a great price point makeup cleanser with the added benefits that go with using vitamin c products! I would definitely recommend to use it in combination with the brightening serum, as I really found the results worthwhile!
Make-up removal with ease
I recently tried the Garnier Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Vitamin C and was pleasantly surprised by how effective it is. It easily removed all my makeup, including stubborn waterproof mascara, without needing to scrub. The balm is lightweight, melts into the skin, and rinses off cleanly, leaving my skin feeling soft, moisturised, and not greasy. It’s also very well-priced compared to similar cleansing balms on the market. Great value and performance, this is one I will continue to have in my skincare routine.
My favourite of the range
Overall out of the entire garnier vitamin c range i really liked this product best, it’s lightweight, not too oily and still manages to remove makeup without leaving a residue feeling behind.
The main drawback for this product was the smell, it smelt like sweet petroleum jelly which wasn’t very pleasant but the smell doesn’t cling after you wash it off. I also wish that it came some type of scoop or spoon implement, I used one I had from a previous balm but if someone doesn’t have one it wouldn’t be the most hygienic to keep sticking your fingers into the jar to scoop it out and would probably make it go off faster.
