Moisturising!
The Garnier Fructis Curls Method Mask is definitely the star of the range for me. It’s thick, creamy, and feels instantly nourishing as soon as it’s applied. I like that it’s designed to penetrate deeply — it really does leave my curls softer, smoother, and more defined after one use. It spreads easily through the hair, and a little goes a long way, so the tub should last a while even for thicker curls.
After rinsing, my hair felt hydrated without being greasy or weighed down, and my curls had a nice bounce and shine. The added hyaluronic acid makes a difference in locking in moisture, and I noticed less frizz and dryness for several days afterwards.
It’s also versatile — you can leave it on for a few minutes as a quick treatment, or longer for a more intensive mask, which I preferred.
Overall, it’s a rich, reliable mask that delivers lasting hydration and noticeably improves curl definition. Out of the four-step system, this step feels the most indulgent and impactful — a must-have if your curls are prone to dryness or in need of extra care.
So good
This Garnier Fructis Curls Method Mask is absolutely necessary! My hair is definitely extra thirty during winter months and I've been struggling to keep my hair feeling soft without weighing my curls down so this has definitely been perfect for me.
The ingredients work so well and I'm noticing that my hair texture feels better and has tamed my frizzy but also delivered hydrated curls that my my hair look and feel so healthy.
I'm very impressed with the results and glad I've discovered this awesome range
Added hydration and curly bounce
The Garnier Fructis Curls Method Mask is the third step in the Curls method. It worked amazingly as a deep conditioning treatment after the shampoo, leaving my hair feeling soft, smooth, bouncy and well hydrated. My hair felt healthy and bouncy once dried. I know that it can also be used as a leave-in for extra moisture and curl definition but I didn't try this option. I will though!
Like the pre shampoo and the shampoo, the texture is rich and creamy, not like a standard conditioner, and it spreads easily. As a third step in the process, it added to reduce the frizz, added bounce, shine and left more pronounced curls then I'd ever had before, which I really loved. The scent is fresh and zesty like the rest of the Curls Method range, making it feel like a cohesive routine. For the price, I'd be more than happy to use this as a great all-rounder.
Made tor curly girls
This was my favourite product from the garnier curl range. A very generous size which is so important for curly girls who need a lot of conditioner.
Accessible by both price and ability to buy at the supermarket or chemist, and smells so good.
My hair responded really well to this conditioner which has multiple uses as a regular conditioner, a rinse out mask if you leave it in longer and the best bit - as a leave in conditioner - which is brilliant if you have thick curly hair that needs extra hydration and detangling.
The tub makes it easy to use all of the product which is important for value and for those with thick curls who go through lots of conditioner.
I will be keeping this in my routine as my hair felt hydrated and less prone to frizz for several days after using.
Favorite in the 4-Part Curly Hair Range
This was my first time using a 4-part curly hair range, and I’m really impressed with this product (Number 3 of 4).
I think this is my favourite in the range! The texture felt great in my hair, leaving it hydrated, frizz-free, and lightweight—without weighing it down. It gave my curls a natural, healthy look.
Like the other products, the mask has a lovely scent and is easy to use, making it a staple in my routine.
The only small issue was the labeling, as it’s marked as step 2 on the front and step 3 on the back.
Regardless, it’s definitely something I’d buy again!
Best part of my routine!
I have always hesitate to use a hair mask, as I was always worried it would leave my hair weighed down, and looking thin and limp. I took this worry in the first time I used this hair mask, especially as the texture is quite rich and thick. I kept it on for only 10 minutes at first, anxiously washing it out. But I was so pleasantly surprised when after my hair had dried, it felt fresh, light but hydrated! The next time I used it, I kept it in for 15 minutes, and was so happy to see the same results! My hair was shinier and so hydrated, but also soft and full. My curls stayed put even for a few days after washing, when I'm used to them going limp and becoming frizzy waves. This is by far the best addition to my hair care routine! And I am not relying on my hair straightener as much anymore!
Amazing product
This is an incredible hair mask. It smells amazing, and leaves my hair lightly scented after using.
It’s a thick consistency and is super easy to apply. I usually leave it in my hair for 10 minutes before rinsing out, and it leaves my hair feeling soft, hydrated and smooth.
It makes my waves stand out, and smooths all the frizz, leaving my hair looking great.
I love that you can also use this as a leave in conditioner on dry hair, but I find that it weighs my hair down a bit too much, so I usually stick to using it as a mask.
The best for soft but lasting curls!
This curl product worked really well for me. Most other products leave my hair stiff or weighed down, but this one kept my curls soft and natural. The texture felt light when applied, and it spread easily through damp hair without residue. Once my hair dried, the curls were defined yet still touchable, with no crunchy feeling at all.
The hold is lighter than some gels, but I actually prefer that. It allows me to brush through my curls and restyle throughout the day without losing all of the shape. If I want more definition, I can add a little extra product, but it never feels heavy or sticky.
Another thing I liked is that my hair kept its bounce and volume instead of looking flat. Even after a couple of uses there was no buildup, and my hair still felt clean. The light scent fades quickly and does not interfere with other products, which is another plus. Overall, it gave me soft, flexible curls with enough control to last while still leaving room to restyle.
Bouncy and way less frizzy
So I was luck enough to try the Garnier Fructis Curls Method Mask (step three in their new Curls Method routine), and honestly… where has this been all my life?
The texture is rich but not heavy, and it spreads really easily. I used it after shampooing and left it in for about 10–15 minutes while I detangled. When I rinsed it out, my curls were already more defined and felt so much smoother. The moisture actually lasted for days. My hair stayed hydrated, bouncy, and way less frizzy, even without refreshing every single day.
The formula has hyaluronic acid, which I usually associate with skincare, but now I’m wondering why we haven’t been putting it in curly hair masks all along. It honestly feels like it locks in moisture without being too rich or greasy.
It’s definitely earned a spot in my weekly routine, and I’ll be repurchasing for sure.
Amazing and Multitasking
I approached the trial of the Garnier Fructis Curls Method 4 Step Routine with modest expectations
The Garnier Fructis Curls Method Hair Mask is Step 3 in the routine, and it’s been amazing for my thick wavy/frizzy hair. The mask has a rich, creamy texture coats every strand easily, and the light fruity scent makes it a pleasure to use. After rinsing, my hair feels nourished and smooth, with frizz reduced and waves more defined. It didn’t feel heavy or greasy on my hair, and I loved the long-lasting softness between washes. Being able to use it as a conditioner, mask and leave- in conditioner for me is a game changer !! The generous tub makes it great value and easy to use ensuring no wastage. My favourite of the 4 products and will continue to use with the shampoo.
A nice alternative to traditional conditioner
I tend to avoid thick and creamy masks like this one, as they can make my scalp quickly appear oily and greasy only a day after washing. However, I did not find this to be the case when using this 4-step range. The mask is a little fiddly to use in the shower, given that it is in a large tub that doesn’t quite fit in my storage space, and I usually prefer a conditioner that can easily be squeezed or pumped out rather than scooped from a tub. But this was not a big deal overall. A small amount went a long way to help detangle my hair after shampooing, and it rinsed out easily without leaving greasy traces. Overall my curls when using this routine were soft, shiny and dried with great formation and hold.
Magnificent Mask
Thank you to BeautyCrew and Garnier for the opportunity to trial this product.
I was lucky enough to receive the Garnier Fructis Curls Method Mask along with the other products in the range, and I was super excited to try it out.
Just like the other products in the range, it has the same amazing light, fruity floral scent. I’m not a huge fan of the packaging as I find the tub design can sometimes be awkward and/ or inconvenient to use while in the shower. Having said that, the product size is very generous and is definitely great value for money. As for the Garnier Fructis Curls Method Mask itself, it’s so creamy and rich-feeling. It’s so easy to apply and spreads so easily through the hair. It left my hair feeling super hydrated and soft and noticeably less frizzy.
As with the other products in this range, I was super impressed and will definitely continue to use it.
Did not define curls or keep hydration
The curls method mask by Garnier Fructis was an okay product but I was disappointed in the results. I did not feel that it keep my hair hydrated after use or that it aided in defining curls. My hair felt a bit clumpy and dry the following day and continued to get worse in between washes. I struggled a lot with increased knots when using this product in conjunction with the rest of the range. This product has potential to be great on a different type of hair but i found for my fine curly hair it did not live up to what was advertised. I personally wouldn't recommend this to anyone with similar hair to mine. I do believe this product was designed with great ingredients and would aid some to keep heathier curls.
A beautiful mask
I have tried so many different treatments and none before this have seemed to work as well for my wavy bleached hair.
The scent is mild but it's still there enough to leave a pleasant scent.
My hair felt more hydrated and easier to style/manage and seemed to hold its post wash look for longer than without using this mask.
I tried this with the other 3 products from the range and felt they all worked well not to weigh my hair down but hydrate and make it very manageable.
Id recommend anyone with wavy or curly hair to try this as well as the other products in the range.
Its hard to find something that works so when we do it's good to stick to it!
Beautiful for curls
Wow WOW WOW.
I have never had a mask this good ever for my thick curly hair ever. When I received this as part of the Garnier Fructis Curls Method system I was sceptical as masks often make my hair so oily rather than soft and moisturised. This product proved me wrong.
I am sure using the whole system may have helped but I have to say this mask is the jewel in the whole range.
It made such a difference to my hair and my curls were so beautiful and so defined and I don’t think this curly in such a long time.
I loved the creamy texture of the mask and a little goes a long way( I made the mistake of using way too much the first time) This product actually alleviates the use of conditioner as this is sooooo much better.
I can’t say how impressed I am with this mask it’s a miracle mask that I will only be buying from now on
Thankyou Garnier for making a wonder product!!!
Bask in the Mask
This pre wash has quite a thick consistency, I find that you need to use more product than expected. When I used this product i felt it left my hair feeling soft, moisturised, and easier to manage. I felt it was more hydrated. The pre wash was easy to incorporate into my existing routine, not complicated at all. I was surprised it didn't weigh my hair down. However, with my long, thick, frizz-prone hair I found that it didn't fully combat frizz or hold the curls well. Love that this product is sulfate, silicone, alcohol, mineral oil and artificial colourants free.
Perfect for maintaining curls
I really liked this mask for the purpose of making my hair shiny and holding my curls, and the fruity smell from this range is always great! The one thing I would probably say is if your hair is really curly and dry from previous heat tools and colouring is that this mask wasn't as hydrating as I would've liked, I feel my hair really benefitted from adding other leave in products. But for the purpose of maintaining curls this mask did a really good job and it would probably work really well for those with more normal hair types, I also really liked that it washed out well without leaving a very product-y feeling after.
My Wavy Curls are OBSESSED
After shampooing with Garnier Fructis Curls Shampoo (which already had my curls feeling fresh and clean), I followed up with the Garnier Fructis Curls Hair Mask — and my hair drank it up 😍
The texture is super creamy, smells amazing, and left my curls feeling insanely soft, detangled, and moisturized. I let it sit for about 5–10 mins, melts into my hair, then define my patterns, rinsed, and boom — defined, bouncy, happy curls 🌀✨
And you know what, It smells like a tropical Vacay.
This combo might be my new wash day fave!
Sooo happy, this hair mask gave my wavy curls hair LIFE !!
One of my new favourites!
Super hydrating, easy to use, & great results!
The texture of the mask made it super easy to coat my hair & the price range. makes me not afraid to use as much as I need.
It does have a very slight fragrance to it that reminded me of the smell of hair dye or ammonia.
After leaving it on for 5 minutes, i'd wet my hair slightly & this conditioner made it sooooooo much easier to detangle my long hair!
Having some ridges or texture on the lid would make much easier to open the tub while your hands are wet.
An ok Conditioner.
Like anyone, when they purchase a hair mask, I want it to hydrate my hair like a bird in the Sahara. However, I did not really get that from the Garnier Fructis Curls Method Mask.
Just a note, I have thick, dry hair that frizzes easily. So when I say hydration, I mean the ocean. So maybe this mask is more for someone with fine/oily hair. I guess it is good for curls since it does not weigh the hair down, but it isn't for me. I think next time Garnier should add more nourishing ingredients like banana or avocado. That stuff works.
