Another really good product from Garnier. Used with the shampoo, my hair was sleek and mostly frizz free. I only need to run my straightener through once once dry. My hair is very thick and product worked well at taming the frizzy wirey feeling my hair has. Great product for a really reasonable price when used with the shampoo. Sleek sleek sleek feeling and no heaviness. Only downside was that it put a yellow tinge in my grey hair. While I also had a chance to try the Garnier mask, I did not feel the need to with how well the shampoo and conditioner worked together.

This review is for all four products in the keratin sleek range – shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and serum. I found this product to be relatively effective at delivering ‘sleeker’ hair. The product is pleasant smelling and I found that the conditioner washes well. I did find that my hair required washing more frequently with these products. I also would prefer fewer steps in my hair care routine. Waiting out both the conditioner and the hair mask added considerable time to my hair care routine. I found after the initial use I found that my hair had more frizz than normal, however with repeated use over a few weeks, the frizz has decreased and it is ‘sleeker’. Overall relatively happy with this product, however will need to weigh up the additional monetary and time cost if I were to replace my regular hair care products.

This conditioner wasn’t very effective for my hair. My hair type is medium to long length, past my shoulders mid back, a little thin. I usually get flyways around my face when I tie my hair it’s more pronounced. The conditioner felt nice and had a pleasant scent but I felt it lacked smoothing qualities for my hair type. I used roughly the same amount each time a 50 cent piece as I wanted to coat my hair more throughly, I also layered from mid length to ends and whatever remained went to the roots. My hair after blow drying remained the same texture as it normally does after blow drying with little evidence of the product working. My hair remained frizzy.
