Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Gel Cleanser

I really love this product. It has a pleasant fragrance, a nice texture to it and doesn't overly foam up when bein applied. The small 'beads' in the cleanser are very soft and not at all abrasive on the skin gently helping to remove impurities, which left my skin looking a lot fresher. While it is great that the packaging is recyclable, the lid did snap off the first time I opened the product. I'm not sure if this was just unfortunate or the join is slightly too weak, but it did make me question packing it in my bag when going away.

This cleanser was okay for me - as others said it wasn't life-changing. I really like how it is easily dispensed and the gel texture. When I first applied it foamed a little more than what I would have expected but that is just personal preference in what I like in a cleanser. Similar to the serum in the same line, it has a slightly overpowering pineapple smell. In regards to results, I noticed a slight brightening effect and definitely felt cleansed after using it without feeling too dry and tight.

I’m loving Garnier’s Green Labs range. This brightening gel cleanser is another fantastic product that not only gently cleanses my face, it also makes it look and feel fresher, with a glow to it. My sister actually complemented my face saying it looked healthier, and overall, more refreshed. Needless to say, she’s now also a fan of this cleanser and we need to buy another bottle asap! Vitamin C and pineapple is also a winning combination, and really makes it feel like I’m washing my face with more natural ingredients. The size of the packaging is also great, and it fits perfectly in my overnight bag. The fact that this cleanser is also vegan ticks another box for me!

I got sent a bottle of this to review. Garner was the 1st skincare line I ever used. It was affordable for a high school student and had ranges easy enough for me to understand. I think since then I have written them off as a brand until now. I liked that this product is not too foaming as I tend to stay away from foaming cleansers. It left my skin clean but not stripped. I did take a point for scent as I am not a big dlfan of any scent in skincare. I didn't find that it gave me breakouts or any other issues. Just a good basic cleanser.

This cleanser works really well for me! I like the gel consistency and it cleanses my skin nicely, without drying it out. Since using this cleanser daily (alongside the Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Serum Cream SPF 15), I’ve noticed my skin looks healthier and brighter with an outer glow. It also feels smoother and a lot more supple. Also happy to report that the cleanser has caused zero irritation or breakouts, which is always a win! Another huge plus is the vegan and no-nasties formula. An all-round effective cleanser, highly recommend!

This product is a nice gel consistency! It lathers very well ! I was sent this product along with the same range serum cream! The combo really goes well along ! I use this brightening gel face wash once in the morning and once at night time ! I love how it refreshing smell uplifts the mood so quits ! It’s pure gel formula is inspired by superfood pineapple mixed with deem ingredient vitamin c . This gentle scrub free gel wash removes makeup and impurities and smooths skin texture for brighter and glowing skin . It’s very easily at almost all supermarkets and pharmacies and is budget friendly

I can’t really fault this gel wash, as it really delivered to what it promised. My skin was cleaner and fresher after each use. The wash was able to remove all my makeup and sunscreen effectively without stripping or drying my skin out. I noticed that my skin absorbed my serums and moisture after I used this wash. The bottle had a pretty but subtle scent and the bottle was easy to use. I also liked that there weren’t any sulphates or parabens in the wash and I would consider buying more products from Garnier if they continue to not use these nasty ingredients.

This product is a face cleanser in the form of a clear gel with a light fruity smell which I found to be pleasant and not overbearing. I used this product in the morning and found that it was good at removing oil and buildup from overnight, but I found that it stripped moisture from my skin and left a dry sensation. My skin, however, did feel a bit brighter after continuous day use. Overall, this face cleanser felt too drying for me, but would definitely be suitable for someone who has less sensitive or very oily skin.

The Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Gel Cleanser comes in a 130ml tube that dispenses a good amount of product. Since using the cleanser my skin has been great, no breakouts and it just looks quite nice. I was surprised how well it removed makeup even without a wipe. I like that it is a vegan formula and that Garnier is making a move to use more Earth friendly packaging. This cleanser did lose two stars from me due to the fragrance, it is much too strong for me and reminds me of a detergent or cleaning product. As much as I like how the product works, I probably would not buy this again unless the fragrance changed. it's a great price range and I would recommend it if you aren't sensitive to strong smells and want a cleanser that works well and brightens!

I have used Garnier products in the past and loved them, but this is by far my least favourite. I couldn't use it because of the smell. I tried it as much as I could and gave up because the smell would just make me feel sick, as if cheap male cologne was poured into the bottle. The packaging was a nice size and was a good amount but the texture of the liquid was so runny it would cause a lot of un necessary wastage. I like the fact that Garnier is steering in the right direction of reused plastics no micro-beads and vegan friendly products, but unfortunately this one was not able to be enjoyed purely because of something as simple as the smell.

I'll start with the positives, this product smells really nice and fresh (faint pineapple scent) and it does, with use, give you a brighter complexion. The reason why I did not like it was because I found it drying and it made my eyes sting so I wouldn't be able to use it to remove eye makeup so I'd end up having to use something different in the eyes. It did however do a good job in removing face makeup. I have sensitive eyes so I would not continue to use this but may be different for other people. If you want to take advantage of the brightening qualities of the product I would say it would have to be paired with a really good moisturiser.

A good basic cleanser. I received this product along with the matching serum through Beauty/crew to trial. I have used both products in conjunction for a few weeks and I appreciate this cleanser as a good, basic cleanser. I did pair it with a first cleanse (oil cleanser) to remove my sunscreen and when applicable, makeup, but I enjoyed this cleanser overall. I found that it was not too stripping, but it also did the job in the morning, which is when I would ordinarily use it. The only issue preventing me from repurchasing this cleanser is the added fragrance, I found it unnecessary and given developments in skincare technology, fragrance is really not required these days, especially given its capacity to irritate sensitive skin types.

Not a fan of this one. Firstly, the packaging was nice and I quite liked the tiny spout as it let me really control the amount I wanted. The whole package is quite large though. I liked the texture initially but it did lather too much for my liking. The smell was very overpowering and will be too much for many I think. It didn't totally remove my makeup and needed to double cleanse to remove everything. I also felt like it left my skin too dry and tight and I really needed to moisturize after. I wouldn't buy this again and probably will gift it away to someone who isn't sensitive.

Pros: - Light, gel formula that isn't too drying - Brightens and clears skin really well - I noticed a difference to my other cleanser almost straight away; pairs well with the Green Labs Vitamin C SPF cream - A pleasant smell. No real cons - the only thing is the Glycolic Acid isn't called out on the bottle; I think this is an important active ingredient! I think that showed a lot more difference to my skin vs the Pineapple and Vitamin C. It was also good to understand what exactly was happening with my skin.

I like this cleanser! The packaging is nice and it's easy to dispense product. The texture of the cleanser is on the runnier side so I recommend opening it with the lid facing up. The gel texture of the cleanser feels great and applies to skin nicely with a slight lather. It made my skin feel clean without any tight or dry feeling - my skin felt supple and honestly looked instantly brighter after using. Whilst this cleanser claims to smell of pineapple my first impression of the smell is that it smells a bit like mens deodorant or aftershave - however once rubbed onto skin I do get a nice light pineapple scent. The scent is not my favourite but I find it doesn't linger long. I can't speak to the effectiveness of this cleanser at removing makeup as I remove makeup with a balm cleanser. Overall I'd recommend this cleanser to someone looking for something affordable, hydrating and brightening. I will continue to use this product and consider trying others from the range.

I tried the Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Gel Cleanser as part of the beautycrew review. I have combination skin and used this facial cleanser as part of my daily routine. The product is easy to use and felt nice when applying. I like it has no sulfates, microbeads, parabens, or dyes and it didn’t irritate my skin. It is a gel formula but I did find it a bit on the thinner side for a cleanser however it did lather up nicely. The scent is very sweet which I didn’t mind, but it may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to fragrance as it is quite strong. The packaging is simple with a nice slim design, I love that it is made with 20% recycled materials. The product cleansed my skin and left it feeling fresh but not over dry however I didn’t notice much difference in the complexion of my skin.

Nice cleanser for someone with oily to normal skin. If you have dry skin this may not be hydrating enough for you. Pleasant, fresh, fruity scent that wasn't offensive or too overpowering. This cleanser was ok at removing light makeup however it didn't remove all my eyebrow gel or mascara. Would be good as a second cleanse. I have been using this cleanser morning and night for almost two weeks and I can't say I've noticed any significant brightening yet. This is not a life changing cleanser but it is a nice basic cleanser that is vegan and trying to be better for the environment.

Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening gel cleanser is a gentle cleanser, suitable for everyday use. This gel cleanser has a very runny texture with s slight fruity yet chemical smell. I have used this cleanser for about two weeks and so far it is a good cleanser. I wouldn't say it brighten my overall skin complexion but it gets the job done in cleansing my face every morning without any irritation or leave any residue. Not really a fan of the smell though. I like how it is made with 20% of recycled materials.

I recieved a tube of this as part of the Review Crew and have used in conjuction with the Pinea C matching moisturiser in this range. I can't put my finger on the scent of the cleanser it is a floral type scent, not really a pineapple based scent but it is pleasant and not offensive. It is cloudy clear in colour and the consistency of a gel. It lathers up beautifully to a rich bubbly foam and rinses off cleanly without leaving the skin feeling stripped or dry. I did not use for makeup removal so can't state how this fares at removing makeup. My skin type is normal and I found this to be a good daily cleanser, I can't say I noticed any brightening effect from it but it didn't dry my skin out, irritate my skin or eye area and left my skin feeling fresh, soft after use so I do recommend giving it a try.

great effective product didnt cause irritation. after having my son i had a lot of sensitivity but with this product it didnt cause any of that and was effective to clean my face and neck without dehydrating my skin. smells nice and not overly fragrant to cause any irritation. i shared this product with my mother who is in her mid 50's and she loved the product and felt instantly refreshed whilst smelling nice. i would recommend this product to anyone and to at least try with sensitive skin also
