Giorgio Armani Beauty Lasting Silk UV Foundation

PROVIDES A PERFECT FINISH LOOK.  Recommended for nights out or those feel the need to present a blemish-free silky finish look. This product is amazing as it wraps the skin like its your own skin, but at the same time provides a natural glow and decent coverage. The coverage is definitely buildable. The shade range is quite wide and provides decent options. The only downside to the product is that it is quite expensive, but it is long lasting and honestly, provides a luxurious look. If you are someone who is puts high value in the way your skin looks, and is willing to to invest in a good foundation, this will be worth your money.

I was so excited to try this foundation because I saw it on a friend and it looked flawless, however when I bought it  I’m not sure why but I had a reaction and within a few hours of applying it my face had gone red and it looked like I had been sunburnt badly. As much as I wanted this to be my go to high end foundation, that didn’t happen. 

A good but an overpriced foundation. It looks absolutely stunning, in a classic glass packaging with a great pump with a luxurious feeling. The only con for the packaging is that it's quite heavy and can break pretty easily. I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. I love it in the summer when my skin tends to be more oily, but I absolutely hate it in the winter when my skin is super dry and it ends up emphasising all of my dry patches. The formula is very lightweight and can barely be felt on the skin. If you have a comb to oily skin, the finish of this foundation would look gorgeous on you, it's very smooth and doesn't dry completely  matte but satin. It does last on my face for 8 hours (not 14 as Giorgio Armani claims it to be) which is pretty long-lasting for my skin.  If you have dry skin this foundation would not look nice on you, especially if you have any fine lines/dry patches, in the winter I like to use its sister foundation, the luminous silk which suits my dry wintery skin.  Although this foundation is really good, its formulation and packaging do not justify the $100 price tag. If you are on a budget, you can skip that one out but if you are looking to treat yourself for a nice,luxurious foundation and have a combo/oily skin, definitely check this one out. 

this is a really good foundation, looks great on the skin, does not clog my pores and cause break outs and lasts a long time, the only down side to this product is the price, there are a lot of other foundations out there that are very similar but are only a fraction of the price. I probably wouldnt re purchase
