Maybelline New York Super Stay Up to 24HR Skin Tint

This is an interesting product. I couldn't say it's exclusively a tint, nor a foundation. I found that it sunk into my pores/stuck to any dry patches of skin quite badly. It had a nice shade, but was equally too thin and too thick to be what i needed it to be. It has coverage, but not great coverage, but more than just a light tint. If you have quite perfect skin, I think this would be a great product for you as it went on well on the patches of my face that were completely clear. If you have any imperfections, I don’t think I would recommend it.

This is a really nice skin tint. The colour match to my skin is very close and I just picked it from the list of colours online. Usually I find never get a close colour match so was pleasantly surprised. The coverage is great and buildable. It feels lightweight and with a bit of concealer, covers up my hyperpigmentation really well. Be warned tho it does transfer very easily, so if you accidentally touch your face or brush up against anything, you will stain your fingers, clothes etc. I was happy with how it felt on my skin and the colour match but it is a bit runny and being in a dropper bottle, when the bottle was full, it was messy… I ended up a few times dropping on my clothes and carpet and scrabbling to clean it before it set in. So I think the bottle design could definitely be improved. Now for the reason I only gave 3 stars, I am pretty sure this skin tint made me breakout. This is the only change I had made to my skin products and I started to notice I was getting a lot of pimples that sit under the skin and then lots of it smaller whiteheads. Unfortunately because my skin hyperpigments very easily, I have so many marks on my face now as a result of the pimples that sat under my skin. My skin is back to being the worst it has been in a long time. And now I am spending lots of time effort and money trying to fix my skin. I can’t say for sure this product 100% is the reason for this, but as I said, it’s the only thing that’s new/ different from my previous routine. For that reason, I would probably not repurchase.

I was excited to try this tint, as I have been getting into them lately. Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I tried it multiple times, with my normal bade routine but also tried it with other products to see if it would work. Firstly, the texture is thick and not like a tint at all. It was much more like a medium coverage foundation. It didn't sink into the skin, but sat on top. It dried down to a tacky layer and sunk into my pores and smile lines. Even after setting with powder it was thick and a bit tacky. This meant it was not transfer proof, and broke up on my oilier areas. The dropper was good, but the bottle gets messy easily and leaks a tad. Overall, a bit disappointing.

I love using this skin tint. I work in an office where looking presentable but not 'overdone' is necessary and this product gives just enough coverage to achieve this. The product blends well with a makeup brush and doesn't move during the day. I did notice one day when using that it did settle into a dry patch on my chin and look funny but after exfoliating it went back to looking flawless. The only downside to this product is the dropper.. ew ew ew, I can't get it onto certain areas (such as my neck) without having to touch the dropper to my face (gross bacteria transfer) because I am worried i'll dropper it onto my clothes. Surely a normal pump bottle would work for this product? Overall, 4/5- Great coverage and consistence, colour range could be better and the dropper applicator is a no go for me.

I would absolutely re purchase this product; firstly the online colour matching tool was very easy to use and figure out which colour was best. Secondly, the skin tint applies seamlessly and is easily layered pending daily preferences. The texture was easy to apply and felt really light on my skin - even at the end of day, there was no cakey look in any areas. The only part of the product I didn’t particularly like was the dropper, I think a pump would be a lot more practical - the dropper always came out dripping with product, so instead of actually using the dropper, I would just take the product off the applicator. Would definitely recommend for family/friends, especially those who like slowly build the coverage. Had lots of compliments whilst wearing it too which is always a bonus!

I was pleasantly surprised with the results of this skin tint. I have combination to oily skin and skin tints/foundation usually don't last more than 3 hours for before me t-zone getting extremely oily. When I tell you this lasted on me for 8+ hours without sight of oil, I'm not lying! I generally like a somewhat dewy looking base, where as this was more of a matte to semi-matte finish, which I was hesitant about, but I guess is a sacrifice I needed to make to get the results I was after in a product. My main concern was the bottle itself. When the bottle is full it was quite difficult to get the dropper out of the bottle and back in without making a mess around the lid and therefore dripping down the bottle.

Since having my kids I no longer have the time to spend on my makeup each morning. The Maybelline New York Super Stay Up To 24hr Skin Tint is just the product to give me that bit of life to take on the day. Thicker that some liquid tints I have tried, this formula is still light weight and I can’t even feel it on my skin. I would say the texture is almost like a thick moisturiser. I generally will just apply with my hands in the morning but you can also use brushes and sponges to build if you are after more coverage. Will definitely be repurchasing and recommending to all my friends!

I am very impressed with the skin tint from Maybelline. From the bottle to the actual product itself it could be compared with high end skin tints. The shade match was really good and applying the skin tint was really easy. It felt so lightweight and blended really easily without leaving any streaks. For a natural, everyday look this would be the product I would reach for. The coverage is very good for a skin tint and it lasted the whole day without any fading. You can also add more should you prefer medium to full coverage. It evened out my skin tone and gave my skin a nice dewy glow without looking oily. I am loving the natural and seamless look it provides without looking cakey or feeling heavy on the skin. I am so glad I got to try this out because it has become my new favourite. I can see myself purchasing this again once I have run out. Affordable, good quality, long lasting, and just as good as prestige brands.

The Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour Skin Tint provides my skin with a nice glow and beautiful coverage without it looking or feeling heavy. It also contains Vitamin C to help brighten the skin as well. The glass bottle comes with a dropper so you can apply the product with your hands or with a makeup brush. I find that the coverage of this product is great! It helps to cover up some of the imperfections on my face like blemishes. The good thing about this skin tint is that you can always add more product to provide more coverage in certain areas. It has more of a natural look and gives your skin a nice glow which I like and it blends into the skin easily. The shade that I chose matched my skin tone really well which is exactly what I wanted. In terms of staying power, I found that the skin tint lasted for several hours but there was some slight fading during the day.

I received this product as part of a review. I have oily skin with fine lines. I have previously tried skin tints from Hourglass and Fenty. I was very pleased with this product for my skin type. It is easy to work with, I could blend it out with my fingers for a fuss-free application. The matte-finish suited my oily skin. It does dry down to a powder texture so if a small amount settled in my fine lines I could blend it out with my finger. However it is long-wearing. It does have a bit of a iredescence to it which gives you a bit of a highlight effect if you turn your face. Perhaps that was to bring back the appearance of 'glow' in a matte product. Overall it is very easy to use, suited my oily skin, looked very natural (not 'cakey') and for the price point I'm impressed - I prefer it over a high-end skin tint and tinted moisturiser that I have tried in the past.

I was pleasantly surprised with this foundation. It's lightweight and blends easily. It doesn't dry down too quickly so you have time to work with it. It has a light to medium coverage. It's great for an everyday natural look and the formula is great as I find I can apply this foundation quicker than my other ones. I have to be careful with the dropper to not accidentally spill any foundation. Once set with powder it lasts a long time and your skin looks glowy even though it feels matte. The fact that it's transfer-proof for this price point is a huge bonus. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I’m not sure why everyone loves this so much. I’ve tried applying with fingers, a sponge and a foundation brush. It blends terribly and sits in pores and catches on dry patches. I would call this a foundation, not a tint.. The dropper is messy, it’s not transfer resistant and the shade range is disappointing. I like that it has Vit C, I wish it specified the percentage so i could be confident removing my Vit C serum from my routine. If you use a primer, blend really well and set with powder, this is an acceptable foundation but it’s not worth the effort when even Maybelline have better products (Like Fit Me!)

I was not expecting this product to be so good! This gave me a great full coverage just like a foundation would. It left me looking sun kissed and glowing with out needing any products on top. Felt super lightweight so not a cakey feeling which was nice. I would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone wanting the look of foundation with a lighter feel. The only downfall is the style of the bottle, I prefer a pump bottle as I believe they don’t get as messy and I can pump straight onto my face where as this one is more of a drip. In saying this it was still easy to apply and you can use a brush, sponge or fingertips. There was also a dull scent which was not the best but did not phase me too much.

This is one of the better Maybelline products I have used by far! I love the lightweight feel and consistency of the product, it spreads easily and you don’t have to use a lot to get good coverage. For a skin tint I was really pleased with the overall coverage of the product but if you are looking for something buildable this probably isn’t the best choice. Doesn’t feel very heavy on the skin but as someone who has oily skin I found that I couldn’t wear it for long periods of time unless I was using a primer because it would make my skin look excessively shiny. The design of the bottle with the dropper probably wasn’t the best option because it has a very liquidy feel so you just end up wiping the product on your skin or applicator. I was really happy with the shades available though, and while the product claims to have vitamin C I didn’t really notice any difference over multiple uses so you’re better off using your own vit C during your skin care routine.

I haven’t tried many skin tints as I normally wear a full coverage foundation and was concerned it wasn’t going to cover much as I do have a few acne scars that I like to cover but omg I’m obsessed so much more coverage then I thought there would be, however I did pick the wrong shade so will definitely be purchasing another one in a different shade. I did notice it looked a little bit dry on my very dry skin but nothing a hydrating primer and a good skincare routine won’t fix. The packaging is a good size but the dropper is a bit odd you can’t really use it how do meant to be used, you have to wipe the product on your face or hands with the side of the dropper so it can be quite messy if your not careful. Will definitely be recommending this skin tint definitely be recommend to everyone as it is an amazing product and definitely worth the money.

I have sensitive and reactive skin prone to redness, irritation, and rosacea so I'm a skin tint expert because I like the combo of skincare ingredients. I wear skin tints daily and usually mix a few to get the benefits of a few products. This was so amazing! More of a natural/satin finish than I usually do but after a couple of hours of wear was a natural dewy finish. Really light and I applied with my fingers and lasted all day. Also the colour was perfect for me which I sometimes struggle with. I have fair skin and skin tints tend to be marketed for the summer so can sometimes be a bit warm toned or tan for me. Was more like a water with pigment and really loved the texture too.

The colour match to my skin was really good as well. The finish is definitely more on the matte side. I usually prefer a dewey finish, but if you like a more matte finish I’d definitely give this a go! I do feel like the product might not work as well for super dry skin, my skin felt a bit more dry after using this product. However I am not used to matte products. My regular cream face products (blush, contour) blended in super well with no issues or patchiness. It lasted all day with no noticeable fading or any other wearing issues. It felt super lightweight on the skin. There was no overly strong smell. All in all if you are looking for a lightweight full coverage product, I’d definitely recommend this product!
