Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation

The new Armani Luminous Silk is just as good - if not better than the OG, which I’ve used for a number of years. It’s perhaps a little more hydrating than the original. A little goes a long way. Start with one pump and add more if needed. I started with two pumps and it was too much. It applies seamlessly with a brush or, my preferred method, with my fingers. The finish is truly “your skin, but better.” I couldn’t believe the longevity. Applied in the morning, it was still looking good in the evening, even after a late-afternoon gym session. Despite the impressive wear time, it’s not hard to remove and washes off easily with a double cleanse. I loved it and am so glad the new formula doesn’t disappoint. I will definitely repurchase. It’s worth the $$ price tag!

I’ve been using the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation for many years I was so excited to try the new reformulation. I honestly love the new formula more than the original!! The finish is the same beautiful, skin-like glow that I always adored but it feels even smoother, more hydrating and more effortless to blend! Like a weightless veil that still feels luxurious. The expanded shade range made it easier to find the perfect match - I wear 8.1, and it seems to wear better throughout the day on my oily skin without feeling heavy or greasy. Compared to the old formula, this one feels more skincare infused and forgiving; yet still gives that classic luminous look I constantly reach for. I can’t recommend this foundation enough!!

I’ll be honest, I was obsessed with the original Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation and genuinely didn’t think it could get any better. It was already a holy-grail product for me, so I was a little sceptical about the reformulation. But after using the enhanced version, I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations! The texture is still beautifully lightweight and silky, melting into the skin like a second skin, but somehow it feels even more refined. The finish truly mimics healthy skin, it gives you a luminous glow without ever looking heavy or cakey. It wears incredibly well for long days, staying fresh without separating or settling into fine lines. Polished yet effortless! If you loved the original like I did, this updated version proves that somehow, Armani has made a cult favourite even better.

The luminous silk foundation has been my go-to makeup for at least 2 decades, since I first got introduced to it while working at Heathrow airport. I fell in love with it straight away and haven’t used any other foundation ever since. Yes, it is a bit on the pricey side, however it’s well worth it. The texture is light weight, silky and blends really easily. It gives a very natural look with a radiant finish. The favourite part about it is that you can’t tell you have anything on and it’s buildable with an extra coat or two. I also like the luxurious look of the bottle. Beautiful product, definitely recommended.

There are very good reasons that Luminous Silk Foundation has been an award winner and staple in make-up kits for decades - and this new packaging/formulation does nothing to change that. It is just gorgeous! The colour is a perfect match (5.5) to the original and blends seamlessly into my skin - I am quite fair in winter, but tan in summer. My skin has increased sensitivity of late, but this does not irritate nor cause any concern despite it's slightly perfumed scent. I prefer a natural look during the day, so blend a small amount with my fingers for light coverage to even out freckles/sunspots. For night time or a evening occasion, I've used a foundation brush and a little more product to conceal and even out my skin. Using a primer is certainly not necessary - I have just relied on moisturiser and serums in daily routine. An illuminating stick or primer does enhance the glow in target areas, but this product reflects light naturally and is truly 'luminous.'

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is truly one of the best foundations I’ve tried. The coverage is amazing while still leaving my skin looking radiant and feeling hydrated. I had my shade professionally colour matched at David Jones and it was absolutely perfect. The formula glides on effortlessly and is easily buildable if you want more coverage, without ever feeling heavy. It gives that beautiful glow while still looking natural and weightless. My skin tone looked noticeably more even, and it lasted comfortably all day. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it’s absolutely worth it in my eyes. It genuinely made me feel and look so good, and I’ve been really enjoying using it.

I was lucky enough to trial the new formulation of the Armani Luminous Silk foundation as part of Review Crew. The foundation when applied provides a flawless airbrushed yet natural look. Doesn't look oily or greasy at all even after many hours the foundation still looks flawless and intact. No piling or separation! The shades are a perfect match too. It is not cakey and easily blendable. Even if you put a thick layer it looks natural! With some foundations, I have powder a lot due to it feeling sticky or looking oily but with thi foundation I only have to do a very light amount of powder Honestly this has become a favourite and constantly using it as part of my make up routine.

My top foundation always. I have used the original Lumious silk for years and love it - this new formulation is even better if that’s possible. It melts into your skin and is a medium coverage but you can build it if desired. It doesn’t give a cakey look, instead stays put and looks natural all day. Really lightweight which I love as it doesn’t feel like it’s weighing you down and skin can breathe through it. Great for days with the kids for a medium coverage or nights out when I want a bit more buildable coverage. Also amazing for women with more mature skin - I’m 38 and this is really well suited to my skin.

I really enjoyed testing out the new and improved Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation! I had used the previous formula which I liked, but it’s even better now with the addition of skincare ingredients like niacinamide. This foundation comes beautifully packaged in a glass jar with a pump action dispenser. It applies like a dream, smooth and silky with a lightweight feel. It gives a beautiful medium coverage which evens out my skin tone giving a natural glow and hydration. It stayed put all day long and did not clog my pores like some other foundations do. I would definitely recommend this foundation to family and friends.

Although I was asked to sample this as part of a trial it was actually a foundation that I use. I started using it after a search for the best foundation for mature skin. As a cheapskate and not a big brand kind of girl at first I thought it was a bit expensive but then I decided to give it a try. It is a lovely light foundation that goes on smooth and doesn’t cake into wrinkles. It is buildable for.a light or heavier coverage but never looks caked on.I would suggest adding a little but more for a longer day coverage and also going in a store to find your exact colour as there are so many with slight variations that I have found it difficult to find my exact match. Feels nice on the skin not heavy and comes in a lovely glass bottle with a good pump dispenser.

This is my first time trying an Armani foundation and I am quite impressed to be honest. The foundation offers a good level of full coverage with more of a matte finish. I personally tend to prefer a more dewy or glowy look, however this foundation has been great for days when I need a little extra coverage and a more polished finish. It wears well throughout the day and lasts nicely, although I did notice it can crease slightly after a full day of wear. It has a subtle, pleasant scent and applies very smoothly and easily onto my skin, blending well without feeling heavy.

This is my first time trying makeup from this brand. I'd heard great reviews on this product and was stoked to get the opportunity to try it. The packaging is luxe and easy to dispense the product out. The colour match was pretty close and I am happy with how it looks. The formula is super smooth and covers well without looking cakey. I found it to be long lasting throughout the day with no need for touch ups. My skin looked dewy and fresh and felt moisturised all day. More than I am willing to spend on a foundation, so for that reason I would not repurchase.

The original formula was my go to for many many years. I was excited to try this new upgraded formula and boy did it deliver! Prior to using this, I had IPL for pigmentation on my face 2 days prior. So my spots were probably in their prime of 'hardened and darkened'. There were some redness still, but mostly spots that I needed to cover The armani formula gives really good coverage, I used a beauty blender (lightly tapped as skin still sensitive) and I only needed a tiny bit as concerned I didn't want to go too hard with make up so soon. It actually covered pretty much all of the post IPL spots/marks and gave a really good smooth and glowy/dewy finish vs the original I was going to use a highlighter over it, but honestly didn't need it and no one even noticed that I had IPL and all super impressed on how much it covered with so little product! I would also say the colour was very 'natural' so I would highly recommend!

I have been using Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation for the longest time and was eager to try the new formula, which is just as good. For a person that doesn’t like to wear make up much it’s the perfect blend , ultra lightweight to wear and is effortless to apply on the go. I am always complimented on how flawless my skin looks when I wear this foundation and it gives a perfect glow for a night out or simple everyday wear. Completely worth the price tag and a little goes a long way, full coverage is only about 2 pumps! 100% recommend!

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation This has been my go to for a few years. I was worried that the new formulation would not be as good - but I should not have been concerned. This works so well my perimenopausal, over 50 plus skin. Either alone or over under painting for a full beat. It is never to heavy, never acenutates my flaws, always a nice skin type, my skin but better texture. Enough coverage for everyday and builable for those special events. Have only been using the new formula for a week, so yet to see if it delivers on the skincare claims - however my skin is definately not looking any worse and maybe a hint of improvement. Feels soft and light, not masky. Happy days!

I love this foundation. It’s lovely and light and comfortable to wear and it gives a lovely natural light coverage that also disguises imperfections beautifully. It is a little pricey but I never need a lot as it spreads beautifully and so it lasts for quite a long time. This is a really high quality foundation that is silky and also moisturising on my skin, very hydrating and comfortable to wear, there are quite a few shades to choose from so finding a perfect match is easy. Love this foundation and would highly recommend it

I went from someone who wore makeup everyday to a stay at home mum who rarely wears it. Even then ive seen this foundation recommended everywhere but could never justify the price. I was asked to take part in a trial for review crew and jumped on it. First opinions are that its packaged lovely, love glass bottle so you can see how much is left and the pump is good quality and consistent. I received shade 6.8 warm olive. Its definitely two shades too dark for me. so i went in with an open mind. First application was a lazy one. non prepped skin, only washed the night before, straight in with fingers. I found the formula smooth and silky, pigmented but not heavy. On my skin it felt great, spread easily even without prep, evened out redness and imperfections but left a very natural coverage. Being the wrong shade it left me with a bronzed look that looked so intentional (think face bronzing drops that hide redness and make you look like you spent a week at the beach) without looking like id gone back to '00 and deliberated wearing foundation too dark. i LOVE this look, its something i would gravitate to on a daily basis again, it looked so so natural while hiding any spots without looking like i have any foundation on. Second application was prepped skin, still finger application with some brush blending. Definitely created a more put together look while still maintaining a super natural look that hid what needed to be hid while letting YOU shine through. It wears beautifully. I live in a hot humid tropical climate and I'm a sweaty betty. It still stayed on great, no caking, no settling in lines (I'm 34, i have some), no melting off. Now you have leeway on shades. If your buying online the shades blend with your skin wonderfully. like i mentioned, mine was definitely two shades too dark BUT i could easily make it work and it created a gorgeous bronzed look for an everyday wear, that made me look sun kissed without looking like I'm wearing any makeup at all. Overall my opinion on if this is worth the price has definitely changed. Its not something i could afford to buy on a regular basis but its definitely my choice for birthday splurges from now on!

I have been the big fan of armani luminous silk foundation. I love the old formula which was my go to for light weight foundation and gives the most beautiful skin like finish. Now let’s talk about the new formula. I love the consistency it is almost same as the previous one and smells even better. I use the shade 6.5 which is a good match for my skin tone. It gives a beautiful medium coverage and this new formula is slightly more dewy than the previous one. Overall it’s a good lightweight foundation to use everyday.

The Armani Beauty Luminous Skin Foundation is a product that was really easy to apply and use in every sense. I found I could very easily blend it in with my natural skin tones and with my other makeup products. I felt like it really lifted my usually tired looking skin. In simple terms, it made my skin look really dewy and polished. I cannot recommend the Armani foundation more highly. It really does live up to its namesake in every which way. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and was excited to try Armani Luminous Silk given the hype. First impressions were great — the texture is lightweight and silky, blends easily, and feels lovely on the skin. It gives a natural, radiant finish and true medium coverage that evens out skin tone without looking cakey. Straight after application, my skin looked smooth, even and polished. I did use a primer and set it with powder, which helped initially, but unfortunately the wear time didn’t hold up for me. Even on a low-key day with minimal activity, the foundation started breaking down within a few hours and faded across my face, not just in my T-zone. The packaging is beautiful and feels luxe, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to test — thank you, Beauty Crew. While I’d recommend this to those with drier skin who love a natural, radiant finish, it’s not one I’d repurchase for combination skin given the price and longevity.
