La Roche-Posay MELA B3 Niacinamide Serum

I’m all for brightening serums and have incorporated one form or another of niancinamide for as long as I can remember. This however really didn’t do anything for me. I used this in total for about 8 weeks and did not notice any significant difference. I even stopped my usual vitamin c brightening serum to test the results on its own but still nothing. I will say that this smells so lovely and absorbed into my skin beautifully. It felt like a treat to put on! But I did notice a need to use moisturiser immediately after, almost as though this dried out my skin. I do love a good La Roche Posay product (I have purchased many myself) but this one really didn’t hit the mark for me. Could be my skin, it seems like this has so many positive reviews but it just wasn’t the one for me.

Absolutely Loved it! I instantly Incorporated it day and night and noticed how much brighter my face looked in only a few weeks. Skin felt hydrated, looks glowy and my dark spots are almost invisible now. Was really easy to build into my current regime too without any irritation or breakouts. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to add to their skincare routine (and get a noticeable difference), or anyone who wants to improve the appearance of dark spots. I only wish the dropped picked up a little more product, but may have just been my bottle!

I received this to test with the hope of reducing darker patches and spots from past acne flare ups on my skin and can honestly say I’ve seen a difference in my skin tone. There has definitely been a positive effect after a few weeks of use; my skin is more even and I don’t notice those dark patches like I used to. It did take a little while for the effects to be fully visible, so don’t be discouraged if you’re not seeing results immediately, by the time you’re most of the way through the bottle you should be seeing some change. It is not my favourite serum to use in terms of solving all my concerns at once (for example I like to feel glowy and like my pores are smaller at the same time) but it does soak in quickly and the stopper is well designed for dispensing the appropriate amount of product without feeling like you’re wasting it.

Amazing amazing amazing! One of the best items I’ve ever had to review, I have used it morning and night and will definitely be repurchasing! Notice a huge difference in my skin brightness and even how soft and dewy my skin feels when I wake up in the morning after using this overnight. One of the best serums in my routine now as well. I had a few acne scar marks and pigmentation and they have lightened significantly as well, the serum definitely works while also being gentle enough to use in the morning and night which I like as sometimes I forget to use it at night (I can definitely tell the difference when I do not use it at night as well). Highly recommend for anyone to try, I have sensitive dry skin and had no reaction but making my skin way softer and brighter.

Firstly, the packaging and colour stands out, sleek and polished bottle containing some amazing ingredients! The texture and consistency are great! Very hydrating and moisturising on the skin, absorbs and dries down without any sticky residue on the skin! Have been using it for a couple of weeks and noticed significant improvement in my skin including minimisation of my pores as well as lightening of my pigmented spots. Only giving it 4 stars because the dropper can be hard to use and sometime the product doesn’t come out especially when nearing the end! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a hydrating serum with great active ingredients and want a luxurious addition to their daily skincare without breaking the bank
