Can I say this is so far my favourite Vitamin C serum? Why? Because it does not make my skin extremely shiny and it does not clog the pores! And this is what I need from any skincare roduct. I am a fan of the brand so I simply needed to trial their vitamin C serum. It is great. I have been using it every day for the last two months. My skin is glowy, texture even and plump. The gel like formula is amazing. It smells lovely, applies quickly and sinks in right away. It does not roll or ball up, great base for the moisturiser and make up. I can't fault it. What I love and am graeful for is the addition of salicylic acid, the ingredient my skin likes. The combination worlks very well for my skin. I will repurchase as the price is pretty reasonable for this kind of product.
There are always lots of beauty buzz words floating around, ingredients such as hyalaronic acid, retinol, and of course, vitamin C. The properties of this juicy ingredient are plentiful. It heals acne scars, lightens and brightens skin tone and texture and leaves skin glowing, plump and radiantly fresh with each use. But for sensitive skinned girls like me, despite all those wonderful benefits, it can be quite harsh and tingly to the point of stinging. That’s where this genius vitamin C serum from La Roche-Posay comes in to play.
La Roche-Posay is a beautiful French brand that delivers all sorts of great benefits without being harsh on sensitive skin, and this vitamin C serum is another great addition to their growing range of products. It contains a whopping 10% of pure vitamin C yet it’s surprisingly gentle enough to use twice a day every day.
After double cleansing, I squeeze out two to three drops of this light liquid and massage over my face neck and décolletage. It doesn’t sting, or tingle or burn, and as long as I wear suitable SPF 50+ sun protection, it’s fine for using during the day as well as overnight. Even using this twice a day for the past few weeks, it’s not even halfway through the bottle and I am definitely seeing and reaping the benefits. My skin is brighter, smoother, more even in tone and texture and it absolutely glows like never before. I go makeup free more and more days now because my skin is looking and feeling so amazing. It’s available at Priceline, the price of $69.95 is absolutely reasonable as a little goes a very long way, and anyone can use this, even acne prone or sensitive skin types like myself.
There’s lots of beauty buzz words around and while you can’t believe in or use every single one, vitamin C is one that I believe is absolutely necessary to every good skin care routine. Try it for yourself and make sure it’s this beautiful La Roche-Posay one.
I recently purchased this Vitamin C serum as I always hear about how important it is to use a good Vitamin C serum daily to give you more radiant, even skin. I haven't been using this serum for long, around about one month and I am using it under my usual moisturisers both morning and night. It comes in a 30ml bottle with a dropper applicator. I find about 2 drops is enough for my face and neck area. The texture isn't heavy, sticky or greasy and it absorbs well to also hydrate and smooth my skin. There is a slight fragrance, nothing too strong to irritate my skin. I am very pleased with this serum, although it's not super cheap, it's quite concentrated and a little does go a long way.
Firstly, the positives are that it contains 10% pure Vitamin C, as well as hyaluronic acid and salicylic acid. I have to say I noticed immediate improvement in the softness and smoothness of my skin after the first few days of using this serum. Initially the salicylic acid did make my skin peel slightly and this was the dry, dead skin which I was happy to get rid of! Over the last few weeks I have noticed my skin looks brighter and has a healthy glow. I am most impressed with how soft and smooth my skin's texture has become since using this Vitamin C serum. It has a lightweight texture that also works well under makeup, keeping my skin hydrated and smooth.
I would recommend this serum to anyone who wants to help minimise the signs of ageing, people with uneven tone or uneven texture. It works well to smooth, hydrate and brighten the skin, so it's a must-have if you have these skin concerns.
Absolutely amazing! I have always been on the look out for a cosmetic brand that actually gets my skin and listens to me. Well, I have sure found it with La Roche The Vitamin C serum. My skin has gone from dread and dull to absolute sunshine and I’m all smiles.
I really enjoythis serum from La Roche- Posay. The C10 serum comes in a standard 30ml glass container. The dropper comes with a white squeeze top anda long pipette.
It contains10% asorbic acid- direct vitamin C - as well as BHA to keep skin clear and smooth. BHA in this is Salicylic acid which has been shown to increase the absorption of asorbic acid into the skin. There is also an added peptide which is beneficial for skin.
I have combination skin and I find this product works really well. It is quite a vicious serum which doesn't run down the face but is still easy to spread over the skin. I find the serum dries down nicely on the skin and absorbs within a few minutes. I find it works really well under my sunscreen and makeup -not causing any piling or extra oiliness. Although it contains strong ingredients it doesn't sting or irritate the skin. Perfect for day use. Definitely need to use spf with this one.
Using this for two months I've noticed my skin is more vibrant and clearer. The BHA in this product helps to stop my breakouts in their tract. Skin is smoother with texture reduced. My pigmentation has also decreased especially in areas I have quite a bit. This serum is really good for post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation- post pimples or scars. It leaves my skin looking really smooth. I definitely feel I have a lovely glow wearing this. My fine lines are still there but do diminish and the glow overtakes them.
The only thing I find a bit disappointing is the added fragrance in this product. It isn't offensive but it is there. Also there is alcohol in this which can be a bit drying on the skin so using a good moisturizer after is important too. If this didn't have these I'd rate it higher as it does do a good job and has helped my skin.
- affordable for a direct asorbic acid serum
- absorbs and dries down quickly
- provides results for pigmentation and fine lines
- doesn't clog pores
- non irritating
- great for oily/ combination skin prone to breakouts
- contains alcohol and fragrance which can be drying and irritating
- dropper gets clogged up and around the lid gets product clogged up. Dropper doesn't have a fine end.
- can oxidise quickly
- glass container
Overall a really great product that delivers on its promises. Would recommend.
This serum is an absolute miracle worker.
Anyone living in Melbourne can testify that the harsh climate in winter does not result in good outcomes for ones skin, and this winter I noticed this in particular. My skin felt very dry and chapped all the time, and while on the hunt for skincare items I picked up this La Roche-Posay serum and I was instantly amazed. After using this product consistently for several weeks I noticed that my skin felt brighter, dewy, radiant and youthful despite temperatures averaging at 10 degrees daily. Using this serum I have not only noticed rehydration of my skin, but also a reduction in laugh lines and blackheads. I have now incorporated this product permanently into my skincare routine, and my skin feels as fresh as it did at age 18.
I found this serum works best when applied on my face and neck in the morning, and before bed. Although I don't regularly wear makeup, I also found that when I did this serum worked perfectly in place of a skin primer. The serum is very light in texture and absorbs easily into the skin. I suffer from sensitivity and severe dermatitis , I found that this gentle serum worked perfectly in soothing and brightening sensitive skin. I would recommend this product to everyone, particularly girls with sensitive skin like myself.
Having a good skin routine is vital in maintaining firm and youthful skin, and delaying the development of wrinkles, and this product does just that through the integration of vitamin C in this serum. The incorporation of vitamin C into a skincare routine is vital in the boosting of collagen production, thus reducing the effects of ageing. As a potent antioxidant, vitamin C also works to reverse cell damage by oxidising free radicals in the skin resulting in a reduction in pigmentation.
This product has become a must have in my skin care routine, and I have nothing but great things to say about this serum.
I’m in love with this vitamin C, it makes my skin so bright and glowy, it’s not irritating like others vitamin C, it smells so good, it comes in a bottle with a dropper which makes it easy to apply, I’m half way of the product and definitely I’ll repurchase it ;)
Oh now I C what all the fuss is about. Talk about a great C-rum! (see what I've done there <<<!) I have read so many things about how vitamin C is a must to anyone's skin regime, however, I was skeptical, after paying a lot for a product that had little to no effects on me. But, after taking a cheeky sample of La Roche Posay's vitamin C serum at the pharmacy, I was hooked. Now I won't go a morning without applying it. I would 100% recommend. Try it. C for yourself!
I have only recently begun trialling this product and already I can see amazing results. My skin looks so much brighter, clearer and fresher. The serum has visibly reduced my fine lines and is really giving me a much more youthful appearance, I dont appear to look as tired. My more mature skin has really benefited from this product. A good vitamin c serum is a great pick me up for skin and this is honestly the best I have tried. It smells pleasant and there is no oily feeling to the serum, it applies easily, I love the dropper formula for ease and no mess. It has a light gel feel to the serum and it also feels nice and light on my skin. I use it after cleansing and before applying a good moisturiser then my makeup and it makes my face look fresher, smoother and much more radiant. I love that it sloughs dead skin and this would account for the appearance of my skin being brighter. I feel its good value as I only need to use the slightest amount. This product really makes a huge difference to skin and I would highly recommend it.
The Redermic Vitamin Pure Vitamin C10 Serum has a gel texture which feels lightweight on skin and absorbs into the skin instantly. Immediately my skin looks glowy, smooth and plumped, at the same time my skin doesn't feel congested or blocked. This serum is perfect to be used as makeup base as it keeps the skin well hydrated and doesn't mess up my foundation. I apply the serum alone in the evening and the next morning, my skin looked well moisturised with radiant. After using a bottle, my skin does look firmed and plumped.
While the La Roche-Posay Redermic Vitamin Pure Vitamin C10 Serum is relatively new to my skincare rotation, it has quickly become my favourite Vitamin C serum.
It has a unique gel-serum texture and a light, pleasant scent that applies incredibly easily, and isn’t sticky or grainy like I’ve experienced with other Vitamin C products. It absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin feeling soft, hydrated and glowing.
I use this product in the morning after cleansing, and follow with a moisturiser, SPF and my makeup. This product layers extremely well and doesn’t interfere with the rest of my routine.
After using this serum every morning for the last 3 weeks,my skin is definitely looking brighter and clearer, and I’ve had quite a few people comment on my skin and saying how great it is looking.
It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper, and while this system works, I think I would have preferred it in a tube. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for this product and I can’t see myself ever not using it. I think I have finally found THE Vitamin C serum.
At $69.95 it is well-priced, and it can often be found on sale at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse.
I very much recommend this product, and would give it 10 stars if i could.
