L’Oréal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Conditioner

This has quickly become my favourite conditioner. As I have thick hair I find it difficult to keep it hydrated as a lot of conditioners are thin or runny. This is a very thick, almost mask like, conditioner. So I feel it sticks and absorbs into my hair better. Instantly my hair felt super hydrated, without feeling oily or heavy. This conditioner also helped with making it look shiny and healthy, and more full. I'm not sure if helped a lot with detangling, but I do know a lot of salon branded conditioners have 'detangling' on the bottle instead of 'conditioner'. It has a lovely fruity fresh scent, almost a 'summery' scent. It's also not over powering, and lasts after washing.

Dream Lengths Detangling Conditioner comes in a colourful bottle that is easy to handle in the shower as it doesn't slip out of your hands. When I opened the bottle, I was greeted by an awesome scent that reminded me of summer. It is more on the sweeter side but definitely has a hint of luxury included. The consistency of the conditioner was thick and creamy which meant that it stayed on my hair really well and didn't slide off. I have thin, long hair and I wash them every second day. I applied it after shampoo, left it in my hair for 5 minutes and then rinsed it off. I was left with smooth hair, but unfortunately, I didn't notice any difference with the tangled parts of my hair. I was hoping that the brush would just glide through my hair effortlessly but that did not happen, my hair was still breaking.

The L’Oréal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Detangling Conditioner claims to be a creamy, caring conditioner enriched with a formulation of keratin, vitamins and castor oil. It also claims to detangle lengths and reduce breakage caused by brushing. Out of the 3 Elvive products in this range (shampoo, conditioner and no haircut cream) I loved this product the most. This conditioner was rich and creamy in texture and soaked into my hair nicely. I found it left my hair silky smooth but strong at the same time. The only thing I think it didn't live up to was the detangling claim. I found my hair to be quite knotty after conditioning and the knots continued well after I had finished drying and straightening my hair. I don't normally experience extreme knotting but I noticed it was most apparent at the ends of my hair. The product itself comes in a big plastic bottle and I found it easy to dispense and spread throughout my hair. Overall, I would recommend this product as a budget, everyday conditioner.
