L’Oréal Professionnel Pro Fiber Rectify Shampoo

I constantly use heat to style my hair and I had noticed it being dry and more damaged than usual so after some research I decided to try the Pro Fiber Programme. It claims to be a long-lasting, recharging hair care system for damaged hair. The programme started in-salon with a one-on-one consultation with my hairdresser.  They analyzed the level of damage of my hair using the Hair Fiber Test. Based on my result I was recommended the Revive program which is level 1 (for slightly damaged hair) .  I had the in-salon treatment involving a shampoo, rinse and relaxing scalp massage and then an application of a masque which was left to absorb for approx 10 minutes.  Once the products were rinsed out, I was given a blow dry.  I was sent home with the shampoo and conditioner to wash my hair about twice a week and Masque for use once a week to add nourishment.  The shampoo is a clear, pinkish gel but isn’t very foamy (which took some time to adjust to). It has a spicy, floral fragrance of sandal milk, pleasant and not overpowering. It works well at removing dirt and excess build up without stripping my hair of essential nutrients.  For me the result was super soft hair that felt more resilient than usual, with no compromise on manageability. I had numerous comments and compliments on the shine and condition of my hair.  Although its quite pricey when used in conjunction with the complete system it’s definitely more of an investment than a hair treatment on its own!
