Garnier Fructis Curls Method Shampoo

I’ve been using the Garnier Fructis Curls Method Shampoo as part of the new four-step routine, and it’s a solid option for anyone with curls looking for hydration without the heaviness. The formula is sulfate-free, so it cleanses gently without leaving my hair feeling stripped or squeaky. Instead, it leaves my scalp fresh while still maintaining moisture in my curls, which is a big plus. The texture is smooth and lathers lightly, which spreads easily through the hair. After rinsing, my curls felt soft and not weighed down, which set them up nicely for the next steps in the routine. The Garnier Fructis curls method shampoo, the second step in the process, is a great product. After applying step one and waiting five minutes I applied the shampoo with its lovely continuation of the fresh and zest scent. It lathers up very well so you really don’t need much and you don’t notice the pre shampoo product at all, it simply gets washed away easily with the shampoo. It leaves your hair feeling clean, fresh, and hydrated, not dry like some other shampoos I've tried. I was surprised that I didn't need as much shampoo as I would usually apply. It lathered up beautifully. I'm very happy with the way this shampoo has left my hair feeling. The light scent is pleasant and compliments the other products in the curls process.

I love this Garnier Fructis Curls Method Shampoo! Finally found a shampoo that hasn't stripped my hair and gives a gentle cleanse instead plus it smell so good. I've used other Garnier products in the past and from my experience has always been good so I'm so excited to try this curly hair method range. This has been working great on my curls and can notice my hair texture feels more hydrated and less frizzy and smooth. If you're thinking about it, you definitely need to try it out for yourself.

This GARNIER FRUCTIS CURLS METHOD SHAMPOO is the 2nd step in a 4-step process after a pre-shampoo and before using a mask and spray. I lathered the shampoo onto my wet hair and found the consistency easy to apply and lather. The aroma is fresh and clean. The shampoo left my scalp feeling clean but not stripped and my hair soft, detangled and hydrated. Some shampoos make my scalp feel itchy and leave my hair feeling like straw, but this shampoo felt moisturizing leaving my hair nourished and ready for the conditioning mask and spray.

Finding a good shampoo for curls that cleans but doesn’t dry your hair out or cause more knots is hard, but this one delivers. Having a curl specific cleanser that is the quality of other more expensive products available at supermarkets and chemists at a great price is a huge win. The size is very generous and a little goes a long way. My scalp and hair felt so clean but not at all stripped of moisture. Combined with the pre-shampoo the clean was fantastic and very ready for conditioner. I will buy this again and also have my family use as they have dry and curly hair that would benefit from a great clean with added moisture.

This was my first time using a 4-part curly hair range, and I’m really impressed with this product (Number 2 of 4). I was curious about the difference between a pre-shampoo and shampoo, as I’ve never used them together before, but this product worked wonderfully after the pre-shampoo. It was easy to apply, and my hair felt soft, clean, and hydrated afterward. The scent was light and fresh, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I also didn’t need to use a lot of product, which is a bonus! My daughter tried it as well and loved it, too. This is definitely a product I’d use again!

Such a wonderful shampoo, and at such an affordable price point! Initially I was worried it was not doing its job well, because it didn't lather, and my hair didn't feel as stripped clean as it usually did with my previous shampoo. Bit after using it a few times, I realised that it was normal for it to not foam as much. Also, as it did not strip my hair, it allowed my curls to actually take and hold shape with a lot less product after my shower. My curls were softer but still felt clean. It takes quite a lot for me to purchase any hair care products that aren't on sale, as I always believed they did the exact same thing. But after using this shampoo recently, i would happily purchase this again!

This shampoo smells amazing! It leaves a nice fragrance on my hair that isn’t too overpowering. It does a great job of cleansing my hair, while still leaving it feeling moisturised. It doesn’t strip my hair and make it feel dry, but does do a thorough job at removing product build up. I think it works perfectly in the Garnier Curls Method range, as it does make my waves more noticeable. The bottle is a generous size, and I like that it’s an affordable product. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this shampoo once I’ve run out

I’ve always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with shampoo. So I wasn’t expecting anything amazing when I ws given the Garnier Fructis Curls Method Shampoo to try, but honestly? I’m pleasantly surprised! This shampoo is sulfate-free, which is a must for me, and it actually cleanses without making my hair feel squeaky or dry. It lathers just enough to feel like it’s doing something but it rinses out super clean and leaves my hair feeling soft, not tangled or parched. What I really like is how it sets the tone for the rest of my routine. My curls feel like they’ve gotten a drink of water instead of being completely stripped down. I’ve noticed that my hair is easier to detangle and seems to hold moisture better throughout the week and I think that’s partly because this shampoo is so gentle and hydrating.

I approached the trial of the Garnier Fructis Curls Method Pre-Shampoo and Shampoo with modest expectations, as my hair has undergone significant texture changes over the past year due having to now color my gray hair which has led to increased frizz—a departure from its previous behaviour. After using the pre-shampoo I followed with the shampoo ( like the pre- shampoo it has a great scent and is not overpowering) my scalp felt thoroughly clean and refreshed, with a noticeable extension in cleanliness between washes compared to my usual routine. I appreciate the formula’s exclusion of harmful ingredients while maintaining efficacy and affordability. I have incorporated this shampoo into my regular haircare regimen and plan to continue its use.

This shampoo had a lovely scent and texture, and it lathered well without needing a significant amount of product. I found myself using less shampoo than normal when following the 4-step routine, perhaps due to both the pre-shampoo step 1 and the thick foaming lather produced by this shampoo. My curls did not feel dry, they were soft and detangled easily in the shower. My scalp did not appear greasy or oily for the first couple of days after washing, which it often can with more hydrating products. Styling my hair with the full routine was easy, and my curls dried with great shape, volume and shine.

I was lucky enough to receive this shampoo along with the other corresponding Garnier Fructis Curls Method products, and I was super excited to use it. I really like the colour scheme of the packaging. The light, yet bright green with purple accents is very eye-catching and very reminiscent of early Garnier Haircare packaging. As for the product, I was not disappointed. I usually shampoo my hair twice but found while using the Garnier Fructis Curls Method Shampoo it wasn’t needed, especially when using the pre-shampoo. The shampoo left my hair and scalp feeling super clean and fresh without feeling dry or stripped, and I didn’t get a “squeaky” feeling that I sometimes get with other shampoos. My hair felt so soft and bouncy, and my waves and curls looked very defined and healthy. I also found that a little bit of shampoo definitely goes a long way, and even just a small amount of shampoo creates a beautiful, rich lather. I am so pleased with the results of this shampoo and I will definitely continue to use it and recommend it to everyone with frizzy, wavy, or curly hair.

I personally did not enjoy using the Curls method shampoo by Garnier Fructis due to the way it left my hair feeling dry and clumpy after use. I have fine hair with with a lot of curl and after using this shampoo in conjunction with the curls method range I noticed a significant increase in knots after washing and increasing the next day. My hair didn't feel soft and freshly washed either the following day more like it was due for a wash again. My hair did not feel very hydrated and it did not reduce any frizz in my curls. Positives it did have a lovely smell and applied to hair with ease. I can definitely see the potential of this product and it may be better for a different type of hair but I would not recommend to anyone with fine hair struggling with frizz.

I'm used to only using natural products as a pre cleanser so at first was sceptical of this product but it exceeded my expectations. It has a nice scent to it which isn't over powering. I used this as part of the 4 step system and was impressed overall with how my hair looked and felt afterwards.As someone with wavy curly hair its hard to find products that don't just weigh it down and make it look oily or dirty. The system worked very well for me and I would purchase again. Recommend you try if you have wavy/curly hair. Also feel as though my hair stayed wash fresh for a little longer than normal.

I received this shampoo as a trial for beauty crew and all I can say is WOW it did not disappoint. I usually buy the more expensive salon shampoos as I have always felt they treated my curly hair with such care and managed the curls and hydration so much better than the cheaper brands. I have to say the Garnier Fructis curls method shampoo was something I have never tried before. My hair after a week felt softer and the curls more defined than they have ever been !! Almost like having baby hair once again. I think the formula of the hylauronic acid and the other natural ingredients really made a huge difference. The scent of the shampoo was absolutely divine and my scalp actually felt really refreshed almost like there was peppermint or something similar in the shampoo. I will definitely be buying this shampoo along with the whole range of this curly range !!!

Plus, the fresh scent makes the washing experience very pleasant. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone with curly hair who needs a boost of hydration. The formula contains valuable ingredients like coconut oil and glycerin, which intensively condition the hair and give it a healthy shine. However, with my long, thick, frizz-prone hair I found that it didn't fully combat frizz or hold the curls well. Love that this product is sulfate, silicone, alcohol, mineral oil and artificial colourants free.

Absolutely loved this shampoo, could not find fault if i tried. Not only did this product maintain moisture in my hair which is not typical of most shampoos for curly hair, but it somehow made my hair look shiny and effortlessly maintained. The smell was absolutely wonderful and so refreshing, but if I was really looking at something to that could require improvement there is just a slight underlying chemical scent under the fruity notes so I would probably spend a little extra time washing out the product. Otherwise, I really couldn't fault the shampoo, it lathers well and feels hydrating.

I Just tried the Garnier Curls Shampoo and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s gentle but effective, It lathered beautifully, smelled so lush fresh, it’s sulphate and silicone free and most importantly—my wavy curls felt clean without stripping my strands. After rinsing, my hair felt very soft, my curls are LIVING, it felts so light, and already starting to define. It’s giving hydrated, frizz-free, and ready to bounce 💧💚 If you’ve got curls that crave moisture and gentle care, this might be your new go-to!

The shampoo was hydrating but my hair still felt clean! Many moisturising shampoos tend to leave my hair feeling unclean or coated which wasn't the case. I was able to do my usual 2 rounds of shampoo & my strands didn't feel annoyingly squeaky clean. The thing I really l liked about the shampoo was how hair felt in prep of conditioner. I was able to part & separate my hair easily without it feeling like my hands were getting stuck in my hair which happens when shampoo dries out your hair, my hands would just glide through after using this shampoo!
