OGX Hydrate & Repair + Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Strength Hair Mask

I’m not overly impressed with this product as a hair masque, it really didn’t seem to do what’s intended on my hair, in the end it acted as a more expensive hair conditioner that made my hair feel a bit heavy after a day post wash. I can see this potentially being beneficial to some but I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it again as I’ve come across better and cheaper products. One of the highlights to the product is the scent, it’s quite warm and lovely during these colder months, and also the option to purchase in 2 seperate sizes which is a win if you’re trying for the first time.

I’ve been using the OGX Hydrate & Repair + Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Strength Hair Mask for a few weeks now, and honestly, it’s been a solid addition to my routine. My hair tends to get dry and a bit frizzy especially at the ends and this mask has definitely helped bring it back to life. It’s super rich and creamy, and a little goes a long way. I use it once or twice a week after shampooing, leave it in for about 5-10 minutes, and rinse it out. My hair feels so soft and a lot more manageable afterward. The formula is infused with Argan Oil of Morocco and silk protein, which sounds fancy but actually does make a difference. My strands feel smoother and shinier, and there’s a noticeable reduction in breakage when I brush my hair.

As with most Argan oil of Morocco products, this one smelt fantastic! But honestly it's really just another generic conditioner in fancy packaging. I didn't notice any difference from my usual conditioners, and it was harder to use than standard bottle packaging because you need to open it woth wet hands, get some out yhen close it too, without getting water in it, which isn't a big deal but it does take longer. In fact, my hair has felt nicer AFTER I switched off of using OGX Hydrate & Repair + Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Strength Hair Mask. It also left a filmy kind of residue that I wasn't keen on the feeling of. Personally, it's not really anything special, and not really worth the money on it, many other products work far better for less cost.

I enjoyed using this hair mask a lot. It comes in a tub that you scoop out of. Smells great and is a thick paste that I put onto the ends of my hair after shampooing and rinsing off. It was easy to incorporate into my existing hair routine. My hair was smooth after using, without feeling weighed down or too greasy. I don’t know if the effects are long lasting but immediately after showering, it seems to work and leaves my hair feeling soft and well moisturised. I would continue to use and recommend to others if looking for an easy to use hair mask.

I am such a big fan of this hair mask!! This hair mask makes my hair feel so soft and hydrated, and it also always looks healthier after I've used this mask too. The OGX Hydrate & Repair + Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Strength Hair Mask is a go to for me, especially when I feel like my hair needs a moisture boost or some TLC. I find that a little bit of this mask can go a long way which means better bang for buck (for context I have fine hair but quite a lot of it). I'd recommend this product for anyone who is looking for some extra hydration and shine in their hair.

This is a good, affordable hair mask if you’re just after a bit of hydration and softness. It didn’t drastically change my hair, but it definitely helped make it feel more moisturised and smoother after use. My hair felt softer and easier to manage, especially at the ends. The texture is rich but spreads well, and it rinses out easily. The scent is very subtle and not too noticeable. I wouldn’t say it gave “extra strength” results, but for the price, it does a nice job. I’d recommend it if your hair needs a bit of moisture and you don’t want to spend a lot. Just don’t apply too much or too close to the roots—it can feel a little heavy if overused.

I have bright red colour treated hair so I need all the nourishment I can get to keep my hair glossy. I have fine hair but lots of it so I'm always a bit concerned about extra strength anything in my hair :). This mask was a pleasant surprise. It wasn't as heavy as I'd assumed, which might not be ideal for those with thicker, more coarse hair, but for my hair it was a delight. I used it as a mask as normal - but did apply conditioner afterwards as I do that with all my masks even if it says not to........and it was lovely. I also used it as a pre wash mask and it wasn't as amazing (I normally use oils for this). I'm very keen to continue to use this mask as the step between shampoo and conditioner as my hair felt lovely and soft and pretty silky once dried. Would definitely recommend for those with finer hair like mine

This product is great even for short hair. I am always hesistant to try leave in hair masks as I have a short bob and they often make my hair more oily within days and make it not worth doing them but this one is great. It has a great scent, doesn't weigh down my hair and does not make it more oily. A little bit goes a long way so the small container lasts a long time. I currently only use this once a week and it is very easy to add to my hair after washing and leave in while shaving legs or (if you're a bit of a clean freak like me) scrubbing down the whole shower with cleaning products haha! I had no doubt that this would be great as other products in this range never fail to impress me!

The smell of this product is nice but definitely not long lasting. I tried this mask two ways - first as intended and second as a leave in for a few hours before shampooing and showering. Neither did anything great to be honest. My hair didn’t feel as nourished as I expected. Good news is that I didn’t feel the need to use conditioner afterwards (you’re not meant to based on instructions) but my hair was super frizzy which I wouldn’t expect for using a “extra strength” mask. This just didn’t do it for me unfortunately.

This is a really hydrating hair mask. It smells delicious and is easy to use, just smooth it on, leave for a few minutes and rinse off. I don’t need a lot so the smallish tub lasts a while. It has a consistency a bit like a body butter and is easy to cover hair with the product and rub it in. After using this for a while my hair was stronger and not as prone to breakage. It leaves a nice shine and makes my hair easier to style. I have thick hair and iv found using this mask helps to fight frizz. This is a quality product that I would recommend

Thank you so much for the beautiful mask beauty crew! I have always found it difficult with hair masks as they do leave behind a lot of residue on my scalp and roots as I do have oily hair. I love the feel of this one and the way it feels very soft on both my scalp and hair from roots to tips. Leaves my hair feeling hydrated for about 3-4 days. I have found the time between hair washes has significantly lengthened which is great as I am very time poor these days! Would highly recommend this product and would re buy!

This hair mask is getting a 2 stars out of 5 for me because in my opinion it just does not do enough for me to love it or recommend it to other people. Yes sure, it softens your hair to an extent but i would not say that it does a good enough job for it to be an "Extra Strength Hair Mask" like the name claims to be... to me it acts more like a conditioner than a hair mask. In the shower it feels nice, its thick and creamy and glides through my hair nicely making it more manageable and less knotty which i loved about this product but i have other products that do that and more... so it just didn't hit the spot for me this time.

I can NEVER have enough hair masks. In fact, most of the time I opt to use a mask instead of a conditioner as my hair is regularly foiled and very dry. I have used OGX shampoo and conditioner in the past but not the masks so was very keen to give this one a go! On first inspection, I couldn't help notice how small the tub is - only 168g which is incredibly small, given $21 price tag. The smell is beautiful and the consistency reminds me of a gloriously rich body butter. Because of the consistency, it was a little fiddly to disperse the mask evenly throughout my hair. This may be because of my hair being quite thin and the mask being very thick. I left it on for about 3 minutes before rinsing. I can't say that I was blown away by the results. I have used conditioners that delivered a better results. In saying that, this hair mask just may not be suitable for my hair. Thicker and courser hair that may be prone to frizziness would most likely benefit the most out of this. Thank you Beauty Crew!

I have been loving hair masks recently and so was really excited to try the OGX Hydrate & Repair + Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Strength Hair Mask. The main thing that excited me about this hair mask was that it has Argan oil in it, which I use in all my hair care products. This hair mask was nice to use and lather onto my hair with no issues. When it comes to the smell of it, I was a little confused because it smelt like mangoes to me. Washing it out was easy and my hair felt soft after using it like with most hair masks. It was nice to use but I felt like it didn’t stand out as I have used more affordable hair masks that achieved better results. I didn’t notice any visible differences in my hair compared to other hair masks on the market.

I tried the OGX Hydrate & Repair + Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Strength Hair Mask under the beauty crew review for four weeks. I was impressed as i have used mask before but some are quite horrible leaving your hair feeling worse then before. Whereas this Morocco extra strength hair mask left my hair feeling smooth soft and stronger looking. A lot healthier looking then before starting this mask. I only used it once or twice a week instead of conditioner and i was quite happy with the results! The smell wasn’t over powering. I would use it again, recommend it to anyone with dull dry damaged hair.

I love myself a good hair mask and the OGX Hydrate & Repair + Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Strength Hair Mask is definitely a good one! I’ve been using this once to twice a week over the last few weeks and I am very impressed. The packaging is very eye catching, with its bright blues and golds, and has super simple, easy to follow instructions. The product itself as a wonderful scent and is smooth, think and creamy and is easy to apply and distribute throughout your hair. After leaving in the recommended 5ish minutes my hair is left feeling soft and refreshed and once dry seems so much less frizzy and knotty. After regular usage I have noticed that my hair seems stronger and less prone to breakage. This is definitely a product I would recommend and I will personally be purchasing more for continued use.

I have recently trialled the OGX Hydrate and Repair + Argan Oil of Morocco Extra Strength Hair Mark, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! For as little as 5 minutes a day, my hair became super soft and hydrated. This mask does not leave my hair looking greasy, and is so easy and smooth to apply. It has a pleasant smell, which adds to the relaxing experience. I will continue to use this product, as I saw a huge change in my hair! it gives me that salon fresh feel without having to go to the salon often!
